Customer service is the worst

Update: after 3 days, there is a mail, finally... but of course they are givin just advices what should I try to do in order for it to work 😅 and again telling me that I should complain to a shop, but they are the online shop where I bought it 😒 and, they are threating me to respond in 24h otherwise they will close the case. So, if a person works, and I usually have a 13h shift, few days in a row, and secondly, they take their time to respond, but I cannot 😅 customer support that gives very sh***y vibes.
Can't wait to return the device and get my money back. And will not deal with them ever again!!!! Me, family and friends are done with you.
I have a really huge family 🤣

My new device does not work.... just to get in touch with somebody to solve it or evem return it is absurd! Had to contact every single number or email I've found and they still managed to refuse the sssistance.
Last attempt, a phone number...will see.
I am so so dusappounted! To give so much money away and nobody can help. Will never buy anything Philips, ever again!

I purchased a Philips i9000 shaver in…

I purchased a Philips i9000 shaver in September 2025 and was advised that the heads should last about 18 - 24 months before needing replacement. I only shave once in the morning and have no beard or moustache. I clean it every day after the shave. It has not even been 12 months and the heads no longer provide a clean shave. I have had to use a previous model shaver to shave with until the heads are replaced. I have always used Philips for 50 plus years but the quality seems to be going downhill. I believe, based on the advice when I purchased it, this should be a warranty issue and have spoken to the shaver shop but they just wanted to sell me new heads.

Philips disappointment

It appears Philips has gone into full ostrich mode, burying its collective head in the sand and pretending that negative reviews simply don’t exist. So let me add one more for them to ignore.

In February 2022, my wife bought me a top‑of‑the‑range Philips shaver — over £200 for what was marketed as a premium, flagship model. Once my eyebrow finally dropped back down from the price, I realised it was actually one of the best shavers I’d owned. For years, it performed brilliantly.

Then, earlier this year, the battery began to fade. First it stopped lasting a week, then a few days, and now I’m lucky if it survives one single shave. For a “premium” product, that’s pathetic.

So I contacted Philips, assuming they’d stand behind their expensive hardware. Instead, I was treated to a masterclass in corporate shrugging. The customer service agent repeatedly asked whether I’d abused the shaver — as if I’d been using it to sand down furniture — only to conclude that they “don’t usually get complaints” about this model. Their solution? A laughable 20% discount on my next purchase and an invitation to join their newsletter. Because nothing says “we value your loyalty” like asking you to buy another failing product and sign up for marketing emails.

He even asked for my phone number, presumably to complete the ritual of pointless questions, but unfortunately for him the shaver still looks brand new. I only use it half the week because I alternate with wet shaves, so even the blades haven’t needed changing.

Philips, if this is your idea of customer care, no wonder you’re hiding from your reviews. A £200 shaver that can’t hold a charge after a couple of years and a support team that offers spam emails as compensation — absolutely disgraceful.

Disappointing customer service

Disappointing customer service from a brand I have trusted for years.
I have been a loyal Philips customer for many years and was disappointed by how my complaint was handled.
My Philips trimmer developed a fault only around six months after the warranty expired. When I first contacted Philips, the customer service adviser was in the process of arranging a replacement but then stopped after noticing the warranty had just expired.
I explained that when I bought the trimmer from Boots I was verbally told it had a three-year warranty, and I still have my original purchase receipt. Although I appreciate that I cannot prove the conversation, I genuinely relied on the information I was given.
I repeatedly asked Philips to consider a one-time goodwill replacement because the product was only a few months out of warranty and I have been a loyal customer. Unfortunately, my request was refused, and the only resolution offered was a 40% discount voucher. My complaint was then closed with no further escalation available.
I understand companies have warranty policies, but I was disappointed that no flexibility or goodwill was shown despite the circumstances. I expected better customer service from a company with Philips' reputation.
I hope Philips will review how cases like this are handled in the future.

Jumping through hoops for the worst client service

I bought an osmosis filter less than two years ago. The filter replacement has been updated to a new model since then. Several times. Impossible to find out what model is needed now. The website is a joke. Trying to get someone on the phone? Good luck. I tried it in several languages and countries and I still don't have an answer. The only person I managed to speak to had no idea of anything and the water department is another company than Philips anyway, it only carries their name. Last time I buy anything from Philips if this how they treat their clients.

Hey @PhilipsPolska

Hey @PhilipsPolska, maybe you can explain why the cashback process in your Ambilight TV promotion is working so poorly?

First, you block the phone numbers of customers trying to register. We have to write and call you just to get the number unblocked – and only then, suddenly, registration becomes possible. Then the real struggle begins with proofs of purchase, because you absolutely refuse to accept any document from the store:

Invoice scan? Supposedly missing customer details.

Receipt scan? Supposedly missing the device name.

E-receipt? Supposedly missing the date.

Every single time, something is magically missing, making successful registration and receiving the cashback virtually impossible. The whole process looks like a deliberate attempt to discourage consumers, and it's definitely a matter worth reporting to the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).

And let me warn you right now – do not paste your generic replies here saying "we are very sorry and the matter can be resolved through a formal complaint." Finding the customer service phone number on your official website is hidden so well that even an AI that scraped the entire internet would have trouble finding it.

Not What I Expected

The product arrived quickly, but unfortunately, it didn’t match the description at all. The colors were dull and not as vibrant. I had hoped for a brighter look based on the photos. Disappointed with this purchase, but I guess you can’t win them all.

I purchased a coffee machine which…

I purchased a coffee machine which started leaking from underneath within a year, and within warranty. I contacted them which was difficult, then today got an email closing my case saying the email team don’t deal with household appliances and I need to call a number. Awful customer service and so difficult to get anything sorted. Luckily I’ve explained to Amazon who I purchased with and they’ve refunded me. I wouldn’t buy from Philips again which is a shame as I had thought they were a good brand.

Awful company to deal with and the tooth brushes break every 2 years once they are just past the warranty period - once this happens the company doesn’t care and expects you to spend hundreds on another one only for it to break a year or two later? Do not recommend!!!

Planned obsolescence!!

"I bought a Philips shaver (model: series 1000 for €29.00 at El Corte Inglés in Madrid — hardly a discount retailer. The blade/cutting head, a small component representing a fraction of the machine's material andmanufacturing cost, now needs replacing at a price of €26.00. That's 90% of the cost of the entire original product for one small part. This isn't reasonable pricing — it's a design that forces customers to effectively re-buy the product just to keep a working shaver, while Philips keeps the profit margin on both the sale and the 'consumable.' Sold through a retailer of El Corte Inglés' standing, this kind of margin on a replacement part deserves scrutiny, not a shrug."

If I could give 0 marks I would.

If I could give 0 marks I would.
This is the worst company I've had the misfortune to have delt with today
NOT one MANAGERS will talk direct to a customer. The advisers who answer the phone are not tech savy you explain in detail but they can only pass part of a message. You request to speak to a manager you get a supervisor who does nothing to assist.
The tv I received was an exchange from my insurance company since the 24th April it's been broken the tv turns off the WiFi tv takes an age to turn on or change channels remote it not recognised. It now 29 June and still not received my tv back. it's been in their work shop 3 weeks once again they have replaced the same WiFi board 5 times still not fixable sent to Poland for another part, wrong part arrived. Called to ask when are they going to state its beyond repair? Well they are so far refusing as its under warranty.
This is a disgrace. I said 5 times both in emails and to customer service that I wan't a senior manger to call and discuss the situation, so far no senior manager has called or emailed. I keep getting supervisors who do nothing. I'm still without a tv. Next I'm taking them to court.bet they don't respond on here of by tomorrow as advisor said they will and bet it's a email as they are frightened to deal with the clients.
My advise stay clear of all Phlips products.

Disappointing build quality for a flagship Prestige shaver and poor customer service

Disappointing build quality for a flagship Prestige shaver and poor customer service

Rating: ⭐⭐

Pros: The shaving quality itself is top-notch—it delivers a very close and comfortable shave with no skin irritation. The Pressure Guard sensor and the UV sanitizing station work perfectly.

Cons:

Microcracks on the housing: Despite extremely careful and gentle use, noticeable vertical microcracks with jagged edges appeared on the silver composite part of the body (right underneath the rubber grip on the back panel). This is unacceptable material stress for a flagship product.

Water stagnation issue: Water constantly leaks and gets trapped inside the socket underneath the detachable shaving head during cleaning. This causes rapid limescale buildup and has started to warp the internal silver spring plate.

Unprofessional Service: The authorized service center issued a generic "non-warranty" rejection, claiming it was "external damage," even though the shaver has absolutely no signs of drops, impacts, or physical abuse. Comment:
I contacted the Philips Customer Care Center directly regarding this issue. In their email response, they essentially admitted the defect but dismissed it by stating: "this does not affect the operation of the device since everything is sealed inside". For a premium Prestige line product at this price point, claiming that cracks on the outer housing are acceptable as long as the motor runs is absurd. It shaves like a 5-star product, but the build materials and customer support deserve 2 stars. I am currently filing a formal legal claim. I cannot recommend this if you expect long-term premium quality.

We have a Philips Elite steam iron and have returned it once for repair, water coming from the base plate .The repair was done and the iron returned, but within a very short space of time the same fault returned. The iron eventually stopped working, we contacted the service centre and asked for a replacement, after phoning the centre we found out they would only repair, they never even let us know their decision. I just think the service department is a waste of time, they didn't even keep the details of the first repair. This takes weeks for the repair and you have to purchase another iron while you wait. Very poor quality iron backed up with an extremely poor customer service. Don't buy their irons.

TV’s are complete TRASH

Their TVs are complete trash. I paid over £800 for an ambient light TV that barely lasted a year. Throughout its lifespan, the operating system was plagued with bugs and felt poorly developed and unreliable.

Don’t waste your money on their products. They appear to be using low-cost manufacturing and then attaching the Philips name while charging a premium price for what feels like a cheaply made device. The whole experience has been extremely disappointing, and it feels like Philips are taking their customers for granted.

This is the first and last time I’ll purchase anything from Philips. The quality and reliability no longer match the reputation the brand once had.

Pathetic customer service

Pathetic customer service. It feels like customer satisfaction is the last thing this service center cares about. My straightener has been with them for over 15–20 days, yet nobody can provide a proper update or expected completion date. Calls go nowhere, questions remain unanswered, and accountability seems completely absent.

This experience has destroyed my confidence in this service center. Customers deserve transparency and respect, not endless waiting and excuses. One of the most frustrating service experiences I've ever had.
