If you would like it to last longer, you can adjust the device settings to prioritize battery life over connection speed; we also recommend charging it while it is turned off. Charging the device while in use can cause it to overheat, triggering an automatic battery disconnection to prevent serious issues.
Upon renting the device, each user receives an email containing the address and phone number of our provider, who can quickly resolve situations like this. Best regards, the Japan-Experience team

Everything worked perfectly
Everything worked perfectly! I bought a physical data SIM card for Japan and asked them to send it to the hotel where I was staying for the first night. I called the agency in Milan to be reassured that everything would be fine: they were very kind and helpful, and, as mentioned, everything worked perfectly. Thank you.

I’m very satisfied with my Japan Rail Pass purchase. The process was simple and everything worked perfectly during our trip. We used the pass extensively on Shinkansen and other JR trains, making travelling around Japan easy, flexible and stress-free. A very convenient service that I would definitely recommend.

Unreliable eSIM – I Won’t Use Japan Experience Again
I arrived in Japan on July 23 and purchased two 16-day eSIMs from Japan Experience, one for myself and one for my daughter. Unfortunately, one of them did not work.
Since we both needed internet access immediately upon arrival at Haneda Airport, I had no choice but to purchase another 16-day eSIM.
After the first working eSIM expired 16 days later, I tried to activate the other eSIM from my original purchase, thinking I could finally use it. Unfortunately, it still did not work.
Because of this experience, I have decided not to purchase eSIMs from Japan Experience again. We have since switched to Holafly, and both my daughter and I have been able to use their eSIMs without any problems. Based on this experience, I will continue using Holafly in the future rather than Japan Experience.

According to our records, two 16-day eSIMs were purchased in one order, followed by another 16-day eSIM in a separate order. We’re so sorry that one of the eSIMs did not work as expected. This may have been due to a device compatibility issue, however we’re happy to provide a refund for the affected eSIM - this has now been processed.
We have checked the data usage for the other two eSIMs you purchased, and can see that both were successfully activated and used.
We apologize again for the trouble, but hope you still had a great trip.
