The service in shops is great so long as you are planning to spend money, but if you need support with anything, they will make it as hard, expensive, and unpleasant as possible. Truly dissapointing.

Shops have a good selection, but I'll just browse from now on and buy elsewhere where they do respect customers.

Lots of people apparently have problems. I did not. I ordered a laptop which was cheap, was exactly what I ordered and was delivered very quickly. Question to the customer servce about the delivery was responded to within hours.
Can't fault this company. Would order again there.

I purchased a TV online and, after opening the box, noticed the warranty card is not filled out. I contacted Elgiganten customer support, and they emailed me back that I can go to any of their stores to get help with it. I went to the Elgiganten store in Stockholm Galleria, and they told me that for this matter I should go to Elgiganten in Kungsgatan. I went there, and they also denied filling out and signing the warranty card, telling me that it's not possible to sign on behalf of Elgiganten!

I have an issue with my washing machine and they decided to replace the product under warranty. It takes way too long and way to many phone calls to get things done. Two months later I still have no replacement machine even it is confirmed I will have it. However, customer service agents are really nice and try to find good solutions.

No matter how much you follow the rules for how the space for the installation service should be, they will refuse to do it most often than not, and lie about the reasons why they could not do it. They will say you need to reschedule, but in fact they want you to pay for the service multiple times. No refund is possible because they will accuse you of breaching the agreement. You also cannot leave a review after buying, unless they invite you to leave one!

a little update about my son's xbox. we had the extra insurance on it. they said they sent it off to be looked at got a reply 5 weeks later the xbox is totally broken its best to buy a new one. we can let you have one for 6800 kr. no thanks took it to cafe på bit here in skellefteå. all they had to do was change the hdmi port. cost me 600 kr plus 6 months garentee. they all so cleaned the inside. now that's service. not these scam company that try and cheat you out if money. Will never be using these again. avoid like the plaque.

Shit place, absolutely no support, loads of staff, does nothing, as you come across to ask suddenly they're ultra busy... As soon as you show to support center suddenly everyone disappears.

I bought a coffee machine that stopped working after just three days. When I brought it back, the staff was incredibly dismissive and refused an immediate exchange, insisting it had to be sent away for a 'service check' that could take weeks. Picked up some new gaming peripherals here. The prices are competitive and they usually have everything in stock. The reason for 3 stars is the in-store experience; it’s almost impossible to get help from a staff member without waiting in a long queue. Great if you know what you want, but don't expect quick advice

We had ordered a washing machine for delivery at home. Got a text about when they would come, between 8-17 so this meant I had to take a day off work for it. They called on the day, but I was in the bathroom and missed it. Didn't get an answer when calling back. Stood before the window and saw the van driving by. They didn't stop or anything, just drove by. Then I got a message that they tried to deliver, but I wasn't home so I should rebook a time. Totally unacceptable! My car was in front of the house so I was clearly home, how about ringing the doorbell? Called customer service immediately and got a really rude guy who said it was my fault for not answering the phone! It doesn't state anywhere in the contract that if you don't answer the phone, they will drive by so this has no legal validity. What a horrible company with the rudest customer service. Don't ever buy anything for delivery!

The Worst Place to buy goods. Lousy service. Hopeless goods, and poor quality. PLEASE PLEASE Shop for all your electric and Electronic goods somewhere else. AVIOD the stress of dealing with ELGIGANTAN.

I made a purchase on the website (01.12.2025), got an email confirmation and never received anything more. When I contacted support 09.12.2025 they told me the parcel is delivered (which I could not track because when you buy as guest you can't track a parcel), though they don't know where it was delivered and how I can get it. They said they will contact the shipping company and get back to me (I had to wait an hour to get an answer). It's 11.12.2025, no one got back to me, I have no tracking number and no information about the parcel.

UPD: talked to support once again, the product was not sent, it's missing from the warehouse, but it was changed to the same product in a different color that I can pick up in the store and avoid waiting. It would have been much better if this had been communicated to me without the need to spend hours at support, but that's at least something.

I bought HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless headset from Elgiganten Sønderborg.
I've never experienced a more shitty software for any electrical device before.
It's truly a nice headset except I have to every third or fourth day of using it, insert it into any different pc to kinda "reset" it.
It will suddenly lose all volume coming in or out from the headset and the software suddenly can't detect the headset. Extremely annoying! Don't buy-

Bought a phone motorola g24 power from elgiganten from first day had issues with it. i borought it back to them to fix it and still had garanty on phone they said its of course we fix it took the phone phone cost 1450.- koron as new. now they sent an message that the phone was bended(lie i have a full video recorded before i gave in perfect condition and not a scrath on it!) they said i must pay 3500 koron if i want to be they fixed or 590.- they send it back unfixed! or they drop it out(for me...course they use all my phone parts) for 485.- koron!! so i have to pay for my phone what they stole from me! its insane! i reported them to ARN i have all the document all proof of the phone also that how i gave in and what was the issue which was a software issue.
