We ordered an HP EliteBook battery (CM03XL). Within a few minutes, we realised that we had ordered the wrong product and immediately submitted a cancellation request.
That was when we discovered how this CDON scam works (based on the cancellation confirmation email). Even if you cancel an order, you will still receive the product. You then have to return it by post to the seller, and you will only receive a refund if the seller accepts the return.
We contacted the seller (the sellers are third party), but they told us to contact them through CDON—which we had already done, without receiving any useful help.
The day after we submitted the cancellation request, we received an email saying that the order had been shipped.
The product was shipped as expected. We checked the cost of returning it and, unsurprisingly, discovered that the postage would cost almost as much as the product itself. So although we might technically have a chance of receiving a refund, returning the item would make no economic sense.
*Stay away from CDON. Did I say that CDON is a scam? It absolutely is. No proper online store works like this, and no online store should be allowed to operate this way.*

Do not order from cdon and not products from Extrastore
29th July 2026: No customer support! Ordering from cdon is like gambling. If the product and delivery is ok then you are lucky, but when not then you just suffer. There is no real customer support! Can also mention that the seller in cdon, Extrastore do not care about missing parts in product they have sent. They ask me to fill in a form on cdon pages that do not work. I get useless AI answers from the customer service always with 3 days delay. Things are not proceeding. I now got a bed without fasteners. Thats equal to no bed! Order from cdon only if you are a lucky person! Thrustpilot: please introduce zero star for this kind of companies!
NEW Update on 5th August (7days later): No answers, no contact from CDON in 7days...
NEW Update on 13th August. I contacted both Cdon and the seller Extrastore again 7days ago. No answers from them. It seams to be a policy not to handle complainings.
NEW Update on 20th August: I contacted Cdon and seller again 7 days ago after couple of days Cdon forwarded a mail they sent to seller. Thats it. No progress. I still have no fasteners to the bed I ordereda month ago. This is the real CDON!
NEW Update on 28th August: I contacted both Cdon and seller Extrastore. I got just empty talks as ansvers. Still missing fasteners and they have done nothig to send them to me.
NEW Update on 6th September: No progress. I sent them this email:
"CDON,
What are you going to do? Continue playing time or fix the issue? Its over on month since the delivery and I still missing the fasteners!!! ". Lets see the answer after one week.
New update on 25th September: Now two months asking cdon to send missing fasteners but nothing, not even a useless AI answer. I vill continue to report untill cdon fix the issue.
Final update on 29th September. On Saturday the 26th i added the CEO and the whole management team as receivers in my email I sent to the customer service. And guess what... finally things started to happend. I got a email from a person (Not an AI) on Monday morning and after a couple of mails this issue was solved. I think that the customer service just need some 'motivation' from higher level in the company. This is good for you all to know in case you are stuck with the customer service.

Expensive and slow deliveries
They raised the prices of movies and in many cases only offer more expensive special packs (steelbooks etc) or unbelievably pricey imports. And to top that off the delivery became extremely slow. I used to get my movies on release dates but now it takes several days more thanks to their selected partners like Postnord. Cannot recommend this shop anymore 😥

Can not recommend
Can not recommend. The delivery process and logistic is a nightmare, and not at all integrated in their overall business process with their partners.
A day ago the shipment was still in the warehouse in Sweden and today I received information from Schenker that the delivery is reasy for pickup for the next 6 days - and we are still travelling. Neither Schenker nor CDON provides option for delayed pick-up. Looking forward to enjoying the refund process of CDON. I simply can not pick it up on time and I have nobody else to do it for me.
Please do not respond that you understand how disappointed I am from this experience.

CDON is scamming people
CDON failed to deliver goods although they did take payment for said goods. CDON is staying unresponsive when asked for refund for undelivered goods, this has been going on for weeks.

Many products appear to be bulk imports from China without proper licenses or production rights (unauthorized copies).
On top of that, customers have to pay for returns themselves (Finland).
If you request a return, customer service simply closes the case by saying that you have to return the item at your own expense. That’s it. There are no real customer rights or buyer protection at all. only received the same response every time – ‘return it at your own expense. It was no real problem discussion at all.
We purchased an AirUp bottle (as read in product description, but it turned out to be a cheap copy from China with no markings about the type of plastic used, no user instructions, and sealed in plastic packaging.

They asked me to return the product so that they can give a refund. I return the product and after that they "close" my case and did not pay the refund. They sell fake Labubu as the real one. What a shit show. Though i was buying original samsung charger, but of course its some chinese knock-off. Also said that it will delivered to your mailbox. Well instead its some pickup location. Also notification in the mailbox, not in the omaposti app. Though that cdon was somewhat repubtable platform.
Ps. Also if you dont pick it up, even though they are the ones who have honoured the deal, you will be the one to be punished with 150kr penalty.
