Poor customer care experience
If there was any option to consider 1 star in review I would do that. The customer care representative was the rudest person I have seen ever. No loyalty to customers who had been with carrytel for 4years. The moment you decide to switch providers they act rude.
Never subscribe for these small scale providers as its a matter of respect over price.

I was very happy to have spoken to Harrison, he spoke clearly, explained what I needed to understand clearly and would like to say Thank you Harrison for the great service.
I got the 500m plan
I got the 500m plan. First month - their service was good. The second month, it's gotten really bad. The internet keeps going off every now and then. So unstable. Will switch.

Extremely disappointing experience with…
Extremely disappointing experience with Carry Telecom.
I returned the modem in proper condition, yet I was charged $149 for alleged “physical damage” without being provided any real proof, clear photos, or proper inspection documentation. Customer service and resolution support were completely unhelpful and unwilling to properly investigate the issue.
The most frustrating part is the lack of transparency and accountability. Customers should not be charged based on vague claims without evidence. This experience created unnecessary stress and wasted a significant amount of my time.
I strongly recommend customers document everything when returning equipment, including photos and tracking information.
Very poor customer service experience overall
Sheldon Unlocked
Sheldon from Big Bang Theory doesn't have a thing on my guy Sheldon at TekSavvy. The intelligence? His own colleagues call him a genius — and from what I witnessed, they aren't exaggerating. But here's what the fictional Sheldon never figured out: compassion and grace are force multipliers. My Sheldon hit a bureaucratic wall between TekSavvy and a third party that had my service cut off without explanation. While working the official channels, he was simultaneously engineering a parallel solution on his own initiative — just in case. No panic, no script, no passing the buck. Just quiet, creative problem solving with the kind of bro energy that makes you feel like you've got someone actually in your corner. When I called to thank him personally, my internet came back on mid-dial. That's either perfect timing or the man works miracles. Either way — if you ever need TekSavvy support, ask for management. You might get lucky enough to get Sheldon
Incentives to sham
Everything was okay, very prompt. Customer service was polite, however when I wanted to cancel installation and just wanted to be refunded. Customer sevice was willing to offer me 15 days free trial instead of 7, then I refused and told them I didn't realize that I already have fibre optic with telus in my apartment built in and thats why I had to cancel. However she kept trying to give me more incentives to go with them, so I said in a well mannered tone that I would like a refund as I already have internet. So she put me on a brief hold and contacted her manager, then came back online shortly, and started the process of terminating my account. I got an email right away, and she said I will be refunded within 3 to 5 business days. I told her thats too long, especially when I just emt them my payment, then she said they don't have emt, which I find unbelievable because the last provider I tried to go through with GETUS, and they were ready to ship my modem until the shipping noticed my area wasn't covered. So they apologized and immediately reimbursed me. The manager even called me and apologized. This lady wasn't even listening to me, she kept referring back to what she follows on her policies for their company, nobody really has a sense anymore to look out of the box. I'm not satisfied.

The most worst service that i saw in my life. After couple months I go away from that company. And they told to me I have to pay for return they devises!!!

The carry staff were very responsive and wanted to help. I found that the internet dropped often.
2 years ago, I joined at a reasonable introductory price of 40/month, and now it will soon be over 70/month. Not worth it, I'm leaving.

They give you the advertised speed for a bout a week and then they cap the modem at much lower speeds. DO not buy this internet service.

Did not mail the required cable...but charged me anyway.
After weeks of phonecalls, and telling them they did not send the cables necessary, I got a bill for internet that was never connected.
I canceled, they do not pay for returns on equipment.
100% do not recommend.
I have a very bad experience with this…
I have a very bad experience with this company. They are irresponsible. They are not interested in customers. They do not have their own technicians and promise every day that someone will come to you and everything will work. I do not recommend anyone to contact them. I bought their equipment and after 4 days I canceled everything and sent it back to them. No one ever came to me and I had no internet. They are terrible
Constantly increasing prices for no reason.
I have been with this company since 2018 and they keep increasing the price without providing any additional service. They just keep making the price go up by 5$. When questioned on this -- and the existing infrastructure should dictate they can provide the service for less cost -- they say there is nothing they can do. They have weird pricing strategy that is not consistent and it continually goes up incrementally. This is a very shady internet company with too high prices. When you can just get internet on your phone, do not go to this company. In this day and age, it should not cost over $65 a month for home internet. Half that amount seems reasonable. Just use your phone it will save you thousands of dollars a year. This company should not be in business.
Company of LIARS
Company of LIARS
The website tells me that my address is serviceable and allows me to pay over $90 in fees and then they tell me that actually my area is not serviceable?? Yeah no mention of that on the website of course. Absolute scammers and customer service is unprofessional and patronising. Companies like this are part of the reason that this world is falling to sh*t.
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a…
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a telecom company. Their customer service reps are all bunch of rude jokers. They raised the price 3 times in last year. Ended up cancelling yet the guy told me that due to Canada post strike I have to drive to Toronto to drop off the equipment. When I told him I live like 200 kms away he ended up sending a Canada post label while they are on strike. Lol. I wish there would a 0 star option for them.
Misleading at best!!

I signed up for service on Tuesday September 23.Their website said that my address was serviceable. I paid for the first month. The next day, a representative called me to set up installation. A date was set and I was told that the modem would be shipped to my nearest Canada post outlet.
The next day, I received a call stating that my address was NOT serviceable and that it had been cancelled and would have to wait up to 10 DAYS for my refund. I find it absolutely ridiculous that the website shows my address as serviceable, the representative that called me should have had a way of checking if the address was actually serviceable. You guys should not be taking any money before verifying if an address is serviceable. Waiting 10 days to get my money back is absurd.
Though, judging by the rest of the reviews here, it looks like I dodged a bullet!!
I called elsewhere and was able to set up service and they actually checked while I was on the phone with them that my address is serviceable BEFORE they took my payment.
You guys need to do better and check availability BEFORE you take someone’s money and make them wait 10 days for a refund. Maybe fix your website so that it tells people that your service is not available to them so that no one else is misled and has to deal with the same issues. You certainly took my payment fast enough. I didn’t make you wait 10 days for the money. Seriously deceptive business model
It is with regret that I chose to go…
It is with regret that I chose to go with this company’s service. What they advertise is not what you actually get. During the 7-day trial period, they try to stall until that period ends.
I recently purchased a 1000 Mbps package, but what I am receiving is only about 103 Mbps—far too slow. I contacted support, and they told me I need a new router, which they are sending. However, this will take at least 5 business days to arrive, leaving me stuck with unusable speeds in the meantime.
When I called sales to ask why I am paying for something I am not receiving, they said speeds are “not guaranteed.” I could understand if the speed was 600–700 Mbps instead of the full 1000 Mbps, but at just over 100 Mbps, it is not reasonable.
Unless this issue is resolved within the next three days, I will have no choice but to cancel my subscription and cut of my losses
Worse company that I been with
Worse company that I been with been 2 months now where my connection has always been cutting out then coming back. Every time I call to see why I have this problem I just get new modems and router which never changes the issue that I have. I been with this company for 3 years and never had an issue until 2 months and 6 days. Wish they can do better with this situation
just missing a cable
just missing a cable. charge me $11.3. terrible company
