They claim to clean the car as part of the sellers package for them and to help with the selling. But at the time of taking ownership of the car the interior smells like it’s 1992 and there are stains all over the inside of the car. As well as mold. This regards a Tesla Model 3 2019.

When they call you, they do not tell you about the 90 days contract in which you cant sell your own car or you will pay 2500 nok. What a scamish behavior is this. Pathetic. They do it on purpose. 100%. Highly not recommended

I was very satisfied with the help I got to sell my car. They were helpful and accommodating and the sale process went smoothly. Great job!
They did not inform about the 3 months contract on call. And sent me a faktura. They first make us pay 1700 for car wash and then 2490 if we sell the car on our own. What does it mean? That I am not allowed to sell my car on my own if I can. What kind of business is this?

I had a disappointing experience with Car4Sale and want to share it—especially for other foreigners in Norway who may not be familiar with the local car-selling process.
When I contacted Car4Sale, I explained that I needed help selling my car because I had no experience and don’t speak Norwegian fluently. I trusted them to guide me through the process transparently.
They initially informed me about two fees: 1,490 NOK for the car wash and 16,990 NOK as their commission. However, when I brought my car in six months later, I was suddenly charged 1,790 NOK for the wash, even though their website still listed it as 1,490 NOK. There was no warning about the price increase.
The car was sold quickly, which I appreciate, but the process felt rushed. I was asked to sign documents while I was boarding a flight at the airport. A few days later, I received an invoice that included a registration fee, which I had never been told about. This fee was deducted from the selling price, and I only found out after everything was finalized.
When they asked me how much I wanted to sell the car for, I said the price needed to cover both the Car4Sale commission and my remaining car loan. They told me the realistic price was 360,000 NOK, and I agreed. What they didn’t explain was that the registration fee would be deducted from that amount, leaving me with less than expected.
At one point, they told me that my loan was too high for the price I wanted to sell the car for, and suggested I could apply for a loan through Horde to cover the difference. I asked how much I would need, and they told me it would be around 24,000 NOK—to cover the remaining loan and their commission. However, I ended up paying 32,000 NOK, with no clear explanation for the extra cost.
Although it was written in the contract as “Pris 360000 inkl. omregistrering”, as someone who doesn’t speak Norwegian and doesn’t understand car sales, I trusted them to explain the details. Unfortunately, they didn’t.
This experience felt misleading. If you’re a foreigner or first-time seller, I recommend getting an independent opinion or help from someone you trust—don’t rely on Car4Sale alone.

The car was sold yesterday. The money on my account today. Got a far better price than the trade-in offer from Tesla, even after expenses. Excellent personal follow-up from Car4Sale. What more could you wish for?
They are easy to work with and very accommodating. Nice people with good communication value.
We were moving and wanted to sell the car. The service from car4sale was top notch. Excellent communication throughout the process, quick sale, and fast payout. Would use again.
