I am absolutely delighted with my dresses from British Retro. I purchased the beautiful Dee Dee dress in Porcelain Blue, which I wore for my daughter’s baptism, and the gorgeous Suzi Q navy floral dress.

Both dresses are truly stunning, with exceptional quality, beautiful fabrics and wonderful attention to detail. The vintage-inspired designs are elegant, feminine and timeless — they make you feel very special when wearing them.

Now, I'm also looking forward to receiving my new order—the Bibi Skin Soft navy dress—and I'm sure I'll love it just as much. I can't wait to wear it!

Planning my outfit for my best friend’s wedding, it had to be something very special. It had to be British Retro!!
I chose ‘Carmen - Lola Check’ … with bright, bold colour and quality fabric, this stylish 1950’s dress is totally retro, yet created for contemporary wear. I received sooo many compliments at the wedding, I felt amazing! I contacted British Retro about a different dress on a different occasion - their Customer Service is Retro too. Good old fashioned politeness and helpfulness. I have no hesitation in recommending British Retro.

I return my item , I wasn t very happy with , and after 2 weeks I still waiting for my refund , you can not call and when you send e mail to them , they answer late and not very helpful with the issue

I love this company. I bought 2 beautiful swing dresses earlier this year. I wore them on the dress to impress night, on a cruise.
I felt so beautiful in the dresses 👗 they are very glamorous.
I highly recommend.

Got my wedding dress from here. It fits so nicely and gives the classic 50s shape with a petticoat. And the fabrics are of good quality. I would recommend getting their dresses as they are breathable and give you lots of movement.

As someone who owns quite a few pieces from a range of vintage-inspired brands, I can honestly say that British Retro’s quality is some of the best I’ve come across. The fabrics feel beautiful, the prints and patterns are gorgeous, and their designs have a real individuality to them. When I wear their clothes, I know I’m wearing something special and not just another version of what’s available everywhere else.

What makes them stand out even more is their incredible customer service. A recent order went missing in the post, and the team were absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond to help, keeping in touch throughout and sending me a different dress at the original sale price so I wouldn’t miss out. They even included a lovely pin, which was such a thoughtful touch and completely made my day.

It’s so rare these days to find a company that excels at both quality and customer care, but British Retro really does. Their clothes are beautiful, their standards are consistently high, and they genuinely seem to care about their customers. Experiences like this are exactly why I keep coming back and why they’re one of my favourite brands.

Beautiful clothing and goog quality fabrics!

Almost all of my dresses are from British Retro, and whenever I wear them, people are always amazed at how beautiful they are =) I constantly receive compliments, especially whenever I use them for pictorials. Their dresses are just amazing! I’ve always been a huge fan of British Retro clothing =)

British Retro has excellent products; get a lot of compliments when I wear my clothes/jewellery from British Retro.

The clothing is well made and high quality. The styles are amazing and so cute. The fit is excellent.

I order from Canada and the shipping times are so quick.

Quick delivery. Gorgeous quality. Bought a dress for my nephew’s wedding and I kept getting compliments throughout the day about my dress, from women and men, young and old. I felt amazing.

I've bought x. 3 petticoats from British Retro and they are far abd away the best on the market. I particularly like the choice of lengths and the adjustable waist. Really good materials and workmanship....not cheap netting. The frilled layers are so pretty you can wear a retro dress and allow them to be visible. Highly recommend. Arrived quickly beautifully packaged.

I have been buying my special occasion dresses from British Retro for quite a few years now. There is always a good selection of unique dresses, to suit every occasion. Service and delivery is fast and efficient. I also love the fab jewellery and petticoats to complete the look, (& I really love the bags that these items come in for protection and storage).

I have bought several things from British retro and love everyone of them. The ordering is fairly simple and it arrives quite quickly.

I’ve been buying from British retro for years since the days of the teapot Hepburn they used to sell. Returns are quick and easy. The quality is wonderful I still have my dresses from 10 plus years ago. styles that are timeless my favourite style is the way out west.

I don’t really buy my 50s dresses from anywhere else. I would love to see more ‘quirky’ prints like they used to do like the rubber duck bubble print and the colourful Union Jack Hepburn which I still wear.

I will continue to be a customer of British retro and now they have brought out some new prints and designs I’ll be ordering them on pre order

I just love the clothes from British Retro. I have purchased several dresses and fluffy petticoats and always get lots of compliments. I like the fact that the dresses are designed and made in the UK and are well made and great quality. The fabrics are beautiful and wash well. Customer service is good, very swift replies to e-mail queries.
If you are a fan of the 50's look this is most definitely the place for you.
