Regarding claim # C 7080709

Regarding claim # C 7080709
It’s been Five months since I submitted my claim for compensation for myself and my co- passenger Sonya. Every 3 to 4 weeks, they ask for some information which was promptly provided, but they keep Asking for same information that was previously reported. Last time they sent a link to the co passenger Sonya and asked for her email address and home address, which was sent same day. There is no acknowledgment for receiving the same and also no status update. I was previously informed that claim was approved and payment received for one ( main passenger), that was over 2 months ago, but they have not asked for bank information yet and payment is still pending. They are impossible to contact, no telephone number and any email sent is not answered. Have to wonder why we are paying a third of the compensation to them as fees when service is so bad. I think I made a mistake by claiming through them. Still waiting for acknowledgment, response and payment:

Hello,

Thank you for reviewing our service. We are sorry to hear about your frustration.

For your security, we noticed that a claim number was included in your review, and we recommend editing or removing this detail to protect your privacy.

Each claim is unique, and processing times can vary depending on external factors outside our control, including requests from the airline. Additional documents or information from passengers are requested only when the airline specifically requires them to proceed with the case, as we previously explained in our emails. Our team replies to all incoming messages, and we continue to actively manage your file every step of the way. As soon as we receive and register the payment from the airline on our accounts, we will notify you immediately so you can safely provide your bank details in your customer panel.

Our standard Service Fee of 35% covers the full scope of administrative and legal work required to secure your compensation, including verifying flight and weather data, preparing the case, and handling all negotiations with the airline. Because we operate on a "No Win, No Fee" model, AirHelp assumes all the financial risk, meaning you do not pay anything if the claim is unsuccessful. Full details regarding our fees are always available in our Price List at https://www.airhelp.com/en/price-list/.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Even passed by more than half year, but the AirHelp didn't give up the claim and communication with the airline, it's appreciated.

I booked a flight to Krakow for the…

I booked a flight to Krakow for the dates of October 29th to November 1st. The very next day, they cancelled the return flight—which was supposed to be on Sunday night—and changed it to Sunday afternoon, also adding a layover in Warsaw. The company is refusing to take responsibility, even though I wrote to them that same day stating that I wanted to cancel the return flight because the new times did not work for us. Today, I received an email stating that the company will not provide a refund for the flight, even though I had already booked a different return flight (independently of them). The company’s conduct is absolutely unacceptable. Their response only arrived after I had already returned to Israel; there was no communication from them prior to the flight. This is the last time I will ever book through this company.

I would rate zero

I would rate zero but it wasn't an option. This company acts like the airline (Using the same e-mail logo) and it's not until they charge you a 1/3 of your refund that you learn they're a second party. I lost $200+ for their "HELP". I was getting the refund no matter what. There was ZERO help from here. A complete scam!

Hello,

Thank you for reviewing our service. We are sorry to hear about your frustration.

We would like to reassure you that AirHelp operates as an independent company, and our emails and communications clearly identify our service. Our fees are not hidden; we inform customers about them at the claim opening stage, and the breakdown is always visible in the customer panel as well as in our Price List at https://www.airhelp.com/en/price-list/.

While passengers can choose to file a claim independently, our standard Service Fee of 35% covers the extensive work involved in securing compensation. Backed by over a decade of experience, our team verifies travel documents against official flight and weather data, informs travelers of their air passenger rights, and manages all direct communication and negotiations with the airline. In addition, we assist with baggage issues and extra expenses for passengers who choose our optional AirHelp+ service, and our legal team is prepared to take claims to court if an airline refuses to cooperate. Because we operate on a "No Win, No Fee" model, AirHelp assumes all the financial risk, so you pay nothing if the claim is unsuccessful.

Thank you and happy travels!

Take the sting out

Excellent service. AirHelp collected all of the necessary paperwork to request a substantial refund for a cancelled international flight. It made the inconvenience of that experience a little more palatable.

My experience with Air help was indeed…

My experience with Air help was indeed exceptional due to the rapid response of the team to get me my refund. Every step of the way they were forthcoming about everything, the time it may take, the fees involved and all I had to do was give them my travel information and that they would take care of getting me my refund and they did within the timeframe that they assured me. You can 100% trust airhelp to work with you to get you compensation. Thank you Airhelp

One delay-3 missed flights...

I flew international and my first plane was delayed leaving the country I was visiting. That delay caused me to miss all my flights home. Airhelp reached out to offer assistance with the airline to make a claim on my behalf. I was glad to pay the small fee for their help, it would have been a nightmare on my own. Airhelp did all the work while I went back to my life. They were able to secure an amount from the airlines, provided me with the steps to recieve my refund, and 2 days later the refund was in my account! Thank you Airhelp!

Excellent Service and Great Support!

I had a very positive experience with AirHelp. The whole process was smooth and straightforward, and their team was professional, helpful, and supportive throughout. They kept me informed about the progress of my claim and made everything much easier than handling it myself.

I’m very happy with the service and appreciate their hard work and dedication. I would definitely recommend AirHelp to anyone seeking help with flight compensation.

A very high commission

A very high commission, plus the addition of extra fees not mentioned in the initial offer—even though they were already aware of them—means you end up effectively splitting the amount 50/50 just for a simple request made to the airline.

Dear Ionut,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding the final amount received, and we would like to clarify how our pricing works.

We operate strictly on a "No Win, No Fee" model, meaning there is zero financial risk to you—if we do not succeed in securing compensation, you pay nothing at all.

Our standard service fee is 35% (including VAT) when compensation is paid without legal intervention. The higher fee (~50%) only applies when an airline rejects, disputes, or ignores a valid claim, requiring our legal team and partner lawyers to initiate formal legal action or court proceedings on your behalf. This Legal Action Fee (an additional 15%) covers the substantial legal costs and work involved in taking an airline to court, ensuring you never have to pay out of pocket even if the court case is unsuccessful.

All our fees, including when legal action fees apply, are fully detailed in our Price List and Terms and Conditions prior to submitting a claim.

If you would like us to review the specific details of your case, please provide your Claim ID on live chat or send us an email, and our team will be glad to look into it for you.

Best regards,
Kelly from AirHelp

A great experience with AirHelp

A great experience with AirHelp! After a year of bureaucratic back-and-forth with Wizz Air—when I had completely lost all hope of getting anything resolved—AirHelp managed to successfully recover my compensation. What impressed me most was their efficiency at the end: as soon as I provided my bank details, the payment was processed instantly. Huge thanks to the team for their persistence and professionalism! Highly recommended.

I didn’t really think I could get any compensation. I had tried to reach out to the airline directly and there was no response. I initially thought because I booked an economy ticket, I wouldn’t get any. AirHelp did a really great job.
I got updates and my compensation came in swiftly
