Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 76 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently report that packages are not delivered to their homes as expected, often being redirected to lockers or local offices without prior authorization. Many people also struggle to reach customer service, experiencing unanswered phone calls, long hold times, or being disconnected. Reviewers often mention discrepancies in delivery attempts, where couriers indicate no one was home despite customers being present, leading to customers needing to collect parcels themselves. Furthermore, some customers also mentioned encountering impolite or rude staff members when attempting to resolve issues. A few other people also felt that parcels were lost or never reached their intended recipients.

ACS is a horrible courier service with…

ACS is a horrible courier service with below-average customer service. I’ve had several packages that they were unable to find or deliver. The tracking information showed that the package had arrived, but when I went to the local ACS office, they couldn’t find it and told me to come back the next day. I visited the office four times, but it was always the same story — they couldn’t locate the parcel. Eventually, I received a message saying that the parcel would be returned to the sender. I opened a case with their customer service, but they were unable to stop the return shipment. Fortunately, I got my money back from the sender and ordered the same product again. Now the exact same thing has happened: I went to their local office, and once again they couldn’t find the package. At least ACS is consistent in its ridiculous performance!

Completely untrustworthy in deliveries

Completely untrustworthy in deliveries, delivers late, declares that attempted to deliver but you were not there (totally false), puts packages in lockers instead of delivering on the address you have declared (although you have payed for the relevant service), customer care virtually non-existed.

Stay away.

ACS fails to deliver, repeatedly

A Google search of these reviews says "Customers overwhelmingly cite failed home deliveries (with packages dumped at local branches)." Exactly my experience this week with an extra feature. Thanks to the company which sent the package we found three "failed delivery attempts" recorded in their tracking system were false entries made by the local ACS office in Rethymno. ACS had made no attempt to contact me about delivering the package and I only found out it was in Kriti thanks to the senders. One of the "delivery attempts" was supposedly at the same time the package was already in a Rethymno office for "pickup". My online complaint to ACS Head Office about non-delivery has had no reply 48 hours later.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! TWICE NOW THE PARCEL DID NOT MAKE IT TO MY HOME - WENT TO A LOCKER WHICH IS NOT CONVENIENT AND ALSO A BIT FAR- AND THEN WHEN I CALLED TO SAY WHY THEY TOLD ME THEY WILL DELIVER IN ANOTHER WEEK. ITS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENS- I AM A CAREGIVER AND I CANNOT JUST LEAVE MY POST. THE EVEN WORSE THING IS THAT I RECEIVED AN EMAIL SAYING IF YOU WANT YOUR PARCEL TO GO TO A LOCKER TELL US, I DIDNT OPT FOR THAT AND STILL THE PARCEL WENT TO THE LOCKER! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR THE SECOND TIME. I WILL ENSURE I TELL ON OVERSEES DELIVERIES NOT TO BE USING ACS IN GREECE. THIS NEVER EVER HAPPENS WITH ANY OTHER COURIER IN GREECE!

This is the worst shipping company I've…

This is the worst shipping company I've ever encountered. I've lived in many countries and had terrible shipping experiences, but I can't remember anything worse than this. Stay away from this company. They're suddenly sending me text messages saying the recipient couldn't be found. I don't believe they actually shipped the package.

Very bad experience

I’ve used ACS Courier Limassol several times, and unfortunately the experience has been consistently disappointing. The main issue is that they do not deliver packages to your door, even when the tracking system claims they will. As soon as the parcel enters their custody, they force you to choose a delivery date that is always at least two days later, which makes the whole process unnecessarily slow.

If you choose home delivery, it’s usually a mistake. They almost always delay the delivery, and the system repeatedly shows the misleading message “Recipient was not found at home”, even when you were home the entire day. It feels like a generic excuse used to avoid actual delivery attempts.

In practice, ACS pushes you to go to their office and pick up the package yourself, and they require your personal ID to release it. If you don’t manage to pick it up within five days, they automatically return the parcel to the sender, which is extremely inconvenient and stressful.

Customer service is another weak point. They rarely answer the phone, making it almost impossible to clarify issues or request help.

Pros:
The only positive aspect is that ACS sends SMS notifications—both via Viber and regular SMS—when your package arrives at their facility. This part works reliably.

Overall:
ACS Courier Limassol feels more like a self‑pickup service than an actual courier. Delivery delays, misleading tracking messages, and lack of customer support make the experience frustrating. Unless you plan to pick up the parcel yourself, it’s hard to recommend their service.

Call them? Don't even bother...

Trying to call them because I am waiting for a money check from them. Not only they never gave me any info about my issue, every phone number is automated and it says they will call me back, THEY NEVER DID! Sent an email, sent a message on their Instagram, no response at all. Do they care about their customers? I'm not gonna even discuss about their "AI" assistance on their website, most useless assistant ever....

If I could give 0 stars, I would

If I could 0 stars, I would!
These are the worst couriers on the island, by a lonnnnnng way. They don’t bother trying to deliver to your home, even if you provide a map pin and live on a main road. They expect you to phone them and then pick up from their office, but it’s located in the town centre on a narrow street in a one way system, with no parking!! The staff are unhelpful, only semi-competent and shouty - one has even hung up on me. I would never, ever send anything with them, but sometimes online retailers send purchases with them and you have no choice.

Here’s how my last couple of deliveries went… First, when I had several items arriving at once, on express delivery… However, there was one missing, and they told me it hadn’t been sent to them, so I argued (unsuccessfully) with the seller about getting a refund… Then ACS handed it to me *5 weeks* later, instead of another item! The next time, they emailed me about an international delivery on a Tuesday; but when I went to collect on the Friday, they had already returned it to the sender, and I still have not received it.

I can only assume they get business because they’re cheaper than other couriers - but if you want a reliable service, just DO NOT USE.

ACS Courier - Find Another Operator

Following a period of reliable service, ACS in Greece has dropped at a level that belies belief: they routinely refuse to deliver directly using their boxes -- more often than not geographically unrelated to your location (in my case, +3km away.)
(Following a foot operation I can hardly walk around Athens to accommodate ACS courier!)
Their site, well-presented in english, does not offer any written recourse and their voice support is either overwhelmed or unpopulated: they never respond.
Sending packages to, or receiving packages in, Greece is becoming complicated indeed!

False Tracking Updates and No Actual Delivery

I ordered an engagement gift online from a globally well-known natural cosmetics company and assumed the delivery would be reliable. Unfortunately, the courier company Taxydromiki turned the entire experience into a disaster.

The sender and recipient were located in the SAME city (Limassol, Cyprus), yet after almost TWO WEEKS the parcel was still not delivered.

The tracking information was full of false updates:

* “Recipient not home” → completely false, the recipient was home all day.
* “Redelivery scheduled” → nobody came.
* “Courier will contact recipient” → no call ever happened.

Even worse, after placing the order, there were no tracking updates for several days. Only after I contacted the store did the shipment suddenly appear in the system, but the parcel still never arrived.

This was supposed to be a timely engagement gift for my son, but the delivery failures completely ruined the occasion.

After reading other reviews here, I was shocked to discover many people describing almost exactly the same experience.

Honestly, this does not feel like a professional courier company. It feels chaotic, unreliable, and borderline fraudulent.

Avoid if possible.

ACS worst courier compa ny in Greece

ACS, at least at their Lefkada depot, is without doubt the worst courier company in Greece. Having paid for deli very to our home instead we have to collect from the depot. Then we discover that it has been placed in a lock-box outside of the main town. But the codes supplied do not work. FIVE VISITS to the depot later we are still no nearer getting our package. The manager is no help. The staff are totally clueless.
We still have not seen our package!

Second worst courier in Greece

Second worst courier in Greece, comes close after Speedex. Whenever we order something where we can't choose which courier we'd like to have it delivered with and it happens to be via ACS, we usually (pretty much always) tend to get a email from ACS that it can't be delivered due to a 'wrong or incomplete adress' and eventually we have to go there and pick it up. We're living at our current adress since 8! years now and Elta Courier for example always knows where to deliver it to (our adress), just for ACS the adress is always 'wrong or incomplete'. That is not a good service, not at all.

Has anyone else had the following…

Has anyone else had the following experience? I received three mobile calls then a message which said that I needed to update my address as my package could not be delivered .there was a link to ACS. ACS MESSAGE SAID…To have my package delivered they were asking for payment of 4.99 euros. There was a number for my package /order,which began with letter CP (nine numbers ) ending GR. Each time I read the link there was a different package number total 7 each starting and ending as above each time requesting 4.99. I called ACS they said that’s a Post office number . But why is ACS sending the message. ????????
