I've been visiting Walibi for over 11 years, and unfortunately it has become extremely commercialized over the years.

SCAMMERS! is a soft word to state what this park is!
A month in advance We bought tickets for 4 HAUNTED HOUSES X 3 PEOPLE TO CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY.
We arrived at the park, the parking was A complete muddy field!( not a good feeling already)
We arrived at the entrance and as we tried to scan our tickets , there comes this lady Claudia, telling us that we cannot enter the park because we do not have "ENTRY TICKETS". we have paid 100 euro on tickets and we still do not have entry tickets? WtF?
As we tried to explain her that the website was not clear, how come the system let us select and paid for tickets if, according to their rules, we cannot use those haunted houses tickets without having purchased extra "entry tickets"?? that is absolutely DISHONEST!
this lady did n't even let us speak. she just started yelling and screaming that we cannot enter..blah, blah..I told her: i NEED TO TALK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR! she was even more furious and began throwing a tantrum : screaming: do not touch me! do not touch me ( I have no idea what kind of psychiatric problems she has but certainly she is not suitable to work with public) anyway, me , an almost 50 plus lady , 1,50 cm tall and skinny was supposed to be a threatening this Claudia lady , in front of the rest of employees and security guys who were just next to us, right?
I even asked one of the security guards to please call the supervisor.
Finally, after all that Claudia tantrum , yelling and disrespect, another guy came to talk to us. He , obviously very professional young guy, told us to go to the service desk and see what they could do for us.
We talked there to the ladies in charged but they cannot do anything because according to the park rules nobody enters without Entry tickets and they were already sold out.
That's scamming! How can the system does not have a filter to avoid that you buy and pay for haunted houses when you, as a client, has not bought the so called: entry tickets in advance!?
that's like: charging you food in a restaurant and then tell you: you cannot eat your food because there are no more tables! VERY DISHONEST!

If you don’t have a car, visiting Walibi Holland is an absolute nightmare. It took us over 4 hours and 30 minutes to get there from Groningen, and the entire trip felt like a mission impossible.
Here’s what the journey looks like:
From Groningen, you first take a train to Zwolle, then a bus to Dronten train station. From Dronten, there are no direct buses to Walibi Holland, so you have to take bus 147, which drives another 40 minutes and then drops you off in the middle of nowhere — literally a field by the highway. There’s nothing around, no shops, no shelter, and no Uber drivers available anywhere nearby. You’re then forced to wait around 40 minutes for bus 247, the only bus that goes the last few kilometers to the park. The worst part? Bus 247 only takes about 4 minutes to reach Walibi once it finally arrives. Walking isn’t an option either — it would take nearly 50 minutes on a highway with no pavement.
After all that hassle, you’d expect the park to make up for it — but sadly, it doesn’t. We bought regular Fright Nights tickets, only to find that most of the attractions and scare zones require separate “special” tickets. If you don’t pay extra, you’ll only see a limited number of actors and get a small taste of what’s advertised.
Overall, this trip was incredibly disappointing. Between the terrible transportation options, and misleading ticket system, Walibi Holland simply isn’t worth the effort unless you have your own car and are ready to pay extra for everything. I would strongly recommend skipping it.

Took my brother to Walibi as a surprise birthday trip and it ended up being one of the best days we've had together. We got the gold-tier fast lane passes, which were absolutely worth it — no waiting around in the heat, just pure ride-hopping madness from start to finish.

We managed to hit every major ride in one day, Goliath and Untamed being the clear favorites. Even went for a second round on both — adrenaline overload in the best way. The Condor got a second ride too, just for the chaos factor.

Walibi is super well-organized, and despite it being busy, it never felt overwhelming thanks to the fast lane system. We skipped the family rides, but still got to see everything the park had to offer.

Only downside? Be prepared for the food prices — €45 for two burgers and two cokes felt like highway robbery, but hey, theme park economics.

Overall, my brother came home smiling and buzzing, and that alone made every cent and scream worth it. If you're considering it: go all in, get the fast lane, and prepare for a wild ride.
