I used rent slam in addition to other housing agencies. I find rent slam to be very reliable and fast with sending me housing notifications whenever there is an offer on any housing website. I get housing notifications from rent slam first before the others. Because of that, I was able to apply for a house and got accepted by the landlord

Finding an apartment is usually a nightmare in the Netherlands, but I had a real blast with RentSlam. It took me only 3 weeks to get an apartment allocated, which is easily the fastest result I’ve ever managed to find/hear about.

What really makes this company stand out is that they actually care about your success. Instead of just taking your money and leaving you to it, Peter reached out personally to see if I needed help. I took his advice on how to improve my search profiles, and the change was immediate—my matches got much better, and the "congratulations" email came in way sooner than I expected.

I also love the "pause" feature. It’s the only app I’ve found that lets you stop your subscription once you’ve found a place, so you can save the remaining time for a later date. It’s honest, efficient, and a total lifesaver. Huge thanks to Peter for the help with my profiles; I’ll definitely be recommending this to everyone and using it for every move from now on.

We have used RentSlam on two different occassions and both times we were able to find an apartment within a month and within our budget. It seriously helps with getting to the front of the queue in applications as you get the listings as they are posted.

Great search tool

It allowed me to find an house in Amsterdam for me my partner and our two cats in 2 weeks, before even arriving to the city! 10/10 would recommend

RentSlam helped me be the first to respond to the adds and have a much more effective overview of the newly posted places for rent in Amsterdam.

After setting up a search profile, I set up push notifications and let the app warn me of new adds. Everything is made to help you apply quickly and effortlessly, although you do need to have accounts set up on the many agencies throughout Amsterdam.
This process took me a good week to get going but after that, I started being invited to viewings at least once a week.

After 3 weeks of searching, I found my dream home for a rent so low it made me think it was social housing.

I couldn’t recommend RentSlam more, definitely worth the price.
Moreover, I sent some constructive feedback to the team and the e-mail I got back from Peter and Nico truly showed their commitment to making the app better and even more user-friendly.

Used it twice to find a house in 4 years. Found something within a month each time! Of course your mileage my vary depending on your salary.
We encountered a bug while using the app and contacted the developer. They responded quickly by extending our subscription for free while also working on fixing the bug, which was fixed within a few days.
If you want a product by someone who cares, look no further.

Easy searching and save time made my great experience, however, put more option i mean more than four cities can be improve the chance for finding place as soon as possible.

The messages are so quick and it’s easy to access the platform. It feels trustworthy and reliable! And the price is really good. All the options you can select from paying platforms or free access or both it is what you sell! Congrats I will recommend it to my friends for sure!

When I registered, I saw on the website that “the average time for finding a house with RentSlam is 6 weeks.” It didn’t seem realistic to me, but I hoped it was true.
With the help of RentSlam, we found ours in just 5 weeks!

You should note that you still need to stay online and actively apply for listings. What RentSlam does is send you notifications the moment a new listing goes online. So it’s not a service that finds the house for you, but it definitely makes the process much easier. It supports your personal efforts by giving you a critical element (speed).

That being said, without being fast (which RentSlam enables) in responding to listings, it’s almost impossible to find a house in this crazy market.

I also appreciated the emails they sent during the process. They checked in with me now and then to see how things were going. One of their emails said, “Feel free to call us for anything; there are no stupid questions,” which really made me feel supported during a difficult and stressful time.

I think there are very smart people behind this service, and they’re doing a great job!!

As soon as a new rental listing appears on the market, you get a notification from the service. This allows you to react quickly and be among the first applicants for the property. I bought a three-month subscription and found a suitable place in just a month and a half—I’m really happy with the result. I recommend giving it a try!

The only thing I keep getting are apartments for which to send reaction I need registration and pay again .

Maybe someone with high salary can use it but all of this houses are free sector where you need salary 3 times more than rent price . Couldn’t find anything else so useless for me .

This is by far the best search engine for properties in the Netherlands. I used it last year to find housing, used it again this year, and I believe that the service is worth every cent. Fast direct messages that enable you to apply for housing from anywhere, as soon as the properties are put online, ensuring you are among the first to respond. Keep it up! :)

Very good service, in my opinion, better than hiring a Makelaar. You receive new housing listings the moment they appear, so you can reply to a listing very fast, and secure a viewing. I managed to secure 5 viewings in the Hague through rentslam and secured a very nice appartment, better than my expectations and in reasonable rental for nowadays. I have already recommended rentslam to many people through word of mouth. I definitely recommend it to everyone. I took the 3 month subscription and I managed to find a house in 1,5 month.
