Extremely Disappointing Experience with Swiss Property Owners Association / Propertyowner

Our family had a very disappointing experience with this company. We were referred to them via Comparis for support in selling our apartment. During the initial consultation, we were promised a smooth and professional sales process, including access to internal member networks, property catalogs, market statistics, and more. It all sounded impressive and trustworthy.

We were told we could “try out” the service — even though we had already been in touch with another agent. There was no mention of penalties or contract termination fees. Only later did we discover that canceling the contract would cost us CHF 3,000 — a condition that was never disclosed during the signing process.

Throughout the sales period, multiple issues arose: incorrect details in listings, poor data management despite repeated correction requests, and overall weak communication. We constantly had to chase updates ourselves. There were also breaches of data protection, such as publishing our family name and license plate online without our consent.

The most misleading aspect was the claim that buyers would cover all costs and sellers would receive the full sales price. In reality, we were repeatedly pressured to lower our asking price — while the company’s commission remained disproportionately high. We found this unfair and misleading.

The agent frequently pushed us to drop the price, and when we raised concerns, there was no meaningful support from her supervisor. After consulting with other professionals, we were advised that the contract terms were neither transparent nor fair.

We feel it is our responsibility to warn others: if you’re looking to sell your property in a professional and fair manner, we strongly recommend choosing a different, more reputable company.

The experience I had was one of uttmost professionalism and dedication and I trusted Amina throughout the entire process. She was knowledgeable and worked well with me and I am happy to say she identified a client within two months of my house being available for purchase.

The process ran fairly smoothly with no major hic-cups, the overall duration took ca. 8 months in total which probably could have been shortened.

The three party communication channel presented some confusion towards the end but all was resolved amicably in the end.

I would use Property Partners again in a selling or buying transaction. The agent in my case is Antony Ambühl who acted very professionally and courteously in all steps of the process.

The analysis of the apartment was detailed and the report complete and very professional

We were looking to sell a property in Montreux, Switzerland but were having a few issues with our estate agent so reached out to propertyowner.ch. They were extremely helpful from the outset, arranging a teams meeting to discuss our expectations and then visiting the property the following day at short notice. Tyron communicated everything clearly and politely from the beginning. In the end our existing agent found a buyer just before we were about to transfer to Tyron and his team but should things fall through we will have no hesitation to use Tyron to sell our property due to his professionalism and efficiency.

Very good professional support from the sales person Carmen, very professional support also from the mortgage expert Yves, from whom we eventually chose the mortgage offer. All staff was very kind and very supportive even in a 'non-ordinary' and lengthy sales process. Can only recommend Propertyowner.

We had a lovely experience buying our first flat. Marvin Kägi, our agent, was very attentive and helped us resolve any query that we had. Overall, super pleasant and would recommend the service further!
