Purchased the PA-10 for a DIY project in the garage. It arrived quickly, packaging was good, brackets were included and the online guide was helpful for the install. Actuator is gliding up and down smoothly without any real issues.
My Progressive Automations desk arrived on time and in perfect condition. The product is exactly as described — sturdy, smooth, and easy to use. I also had a couple of questions before ordering, and the staff answered quickly and helpfully. Overall, great product and great service. Highly recommend!
The sales is non existent now. The service is the same person as sales and we have ordered several times in the past with no issues. Company has downgraded service and sales and support. Not happy to say this. All three had issues. One damaged piece out of 15 and they can replace it till they do their diligence and our customer is kept waiting. I would NOT recommend Progressive Desk! Though I received the parts quickly it was missing parts. There are ends that hold the desk top on and that screw the top to the legs. There are pre installed grommets on the frame to protect and slightly space the desk top to the frame. I started assembly of the desk using the manual and had to go to you tube because the manual is awful. It was missing 1 grommet. Ok so I emailed the company on a Saturday…. No response Monday or Tuesday so I called. They asked for all the information again I had previously provided in the email with pictures. They would check with their warehouse to if the grommet was available. There apparently are no phones to theses locations and they don’t use any inventory system so a person had to email them physically check if a grommet was in stock. I received an email a short time later for me to take a picture of the part and send them the part number. Ummm shouldn’t you have that on hand?? So I took a picture of their manual that has number 1 grommet (pre installed). With a picture of the frame of where they go and a picture of the end part that was missing the grommet. Honestly you can’t make this crap up. So I sent that to them. No response on Wednesday so I called Wednesday afternoon! Progressive desk let me know that one warehouse didn’t have it but the other did and would get me the grommet in 5-7 days! I’m sorry what??? Overnight the thing so I can put the desk together. I was told that’s not policy! I would like to talk to a manager or supervisor please. They don’t take calls!!! This company customer service is deplorable and I would never recommend purchasing a desk from them buy from Uplift instead! Buyer Beware!!!
Purchased actuators to replace 2200lb. I ordered the 3300 lb ones. 2 snapped almost injuring personal. Company responds that maybe there is an issue
Not only did they take my money for an order and not ship it, when I went to cancel the order, they said they would send me an email confirming and I would see my money back in 1to 5 days. Instead I get an email that says the product just shipped and a tracking number that leads to nowhere!! THEY LIE!! WARNING DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE
I am the team lead for a student Mars rover project. We selected Progressive Automations because we thought they could meet the needs demanded by our tight timeline.
In August of 2021, our university submitted a purchase order for the actuators we needed, brackets and cotter pins included. We needed them by October, and after communication with PA, we believed they could get it done. When November came and our items had not arrived, our university called them. The purchase order submitted in August had not been processed. They offered expedited processing, which we accepted and paid for, and told us we could expect the package to be shipped by December 27. January 2022 came by, and we called again - it had *just* shipped, a week or so later than expected. Again, we had needed these in October. We already had to scramble to come up with a temporary solution.
The package arrived today. Unfortunately, it's missing the mounting brackets and cotter pins. We have a critical demonstration deadline in less than a month, and I do not know if the replacement package will get processed, shipped through customs, and arrive on time. The actuators are nearly useless without the correct mounting brackets and pins. We are currently working on another temporary fix in the meantime. Unfortunately, this temporary fix will cut into our in-house manufacturing budget.
On a better note, the parts that we did receive look great, and it is clear that the manufacturing team knows what they're doing. I just wish the experience of receiving these parts had gone smoother.
Edit to add: We just realized a connector on one of the actuators' cables is missing. Just another mistake - albeit very minor and an easy fix.
Edit: Unfortunately, I had to downgrade to a one star review. The actuators don't work, so we will be calling them today. I will edit this review if we resolve the issue.
The folks at Progressive Automations provided me with excellent support in selecting the right products for my application and the equipment works as advertised. Both the support and the products are outstanding. I have 2 Linear Actuators with Hall Effect and the power supply / control box to tip my model railroad benchwork so I can do wiring on the bottom side. Being 79, this enables me to continue to enjoy my hobby.

Excellent customer service, the person I was speaking to helped me choose the colour combo of the table and the base that lifts up and down. everything was delivered quickly.

Extremely frustrated with this company. I ordered the PA-31 remote control box after watching a video on the company's YouTube Channel about how to hook it up to multiple linear actuators. What I received was not the control box/wiring harness in the video. Customer service has been completely useless and just keep repeating that the PA-31 is only meant for one linear actuator despite the YouTube description stating NUMEROUS TIMES that you can hook it up to four actuators at once and a video showing it controlling two linear actuators. I think the products are probably of good quality which is why I didn't give a one star review but I doubt I will use them again, too much headache and garbage customer service
