Great Experience, some bugs.
The experience was smooth, and everything was easy to find. Great experience. Download was fast. Although, you can't make the font size smaller than ten, and there are some bugs regarding undo and redo. Overall, great experience! Would definitely recommend over competitors that require Pro for useful features, like Text editing, and more. That's all standard here. Service was amazing!

Trying to help a friend who was travelling and needed to edit a PDF file for his boss. My friend emailed me the PDF file. I selected PDF Candy based on a review in PCWorld.
I opened the file in PDF Candy online, made the changes, saved the changed file and downloaded it back to my PC. I then emailed the edited PDF file back to my friend. Couldn't have been easier.

Deleting information
Task was to compress a scan of a vaccination passport, 6 pages. The scan made it smaller but led to completely white areas, not just blurred or diffuse. Meaning that the important information of the vaccination passport scan was "deleted". Acrobat or other online tools like "ilovepdf" work much better. Sorry.

We’re sorry the compression result did not preserve the scan correctly. For a document like a vaccination passport, white areas replacing important information is a serious issue, not just a minor quality reduction.
This can sometimes happen when the original scan is built with complex PDF layers, image masks, transparency, or unusual embedded image data. In such cases, compression may process parts of the document differently than expected, especially if the file was created by a scanner app or another PDF tool before being uploaded. That said, we understand that the final result still needs to remain readable and complete.
If you’re willing to contact our support team, please share the PDF Candy version you used and the compression settings selected. Since this is a sensitive document, you do not need to send the original file unless you are comfortable doing so; a redacted sample or screenshots of the white areas would already help us investigate the file structure and understand why the content disappeared.
We appreciate you reporting this. Cases like this help us improve how compression handles scanned documents with non-standard formatting.
