Is Surveyworld only for the young?

I get the impression that Surveyworld is geared more towards younger people.

Every time I receive an email saying “new surveys are waiting for you” and follow the link to participate, I’m told I’m not eligible when I try to take the survey.

As a 60-year-young woman with plenty of life experience, both professionally and personally, it’s disappointing to feel that my age makes my opinions less relevant. If I’m continually being screened out, I’m not sure there’s much point in continuing to participate. I think I’ll probably stop bothering.

Concerned Experience

I joined Surveyworld.com on the 05/08/2026. I have read many of the reviews in this forum. My experience is the same as many of the low reviews e.g completing surveys, 5 in total and not being rewarded for 3. The 1st 2 were ok but the next 3 for some reason " I didnot match" and was not rewarded. I reached out to Surveyworld support, they replied stating that this happens when you have not completed your profile. (I noted in the reply spelling and grammar mistakes.) How could this be when the first 2 surveys I completed were fine. It made me wonder if this was a scam and I also wondered what happens to all the surveys that were completed and not given any reward for. I am also concerned about some of personal information that they now hold. I subsequently closed the account and asked that they delete any personal information that their servers may hold. They did apologise for my bad experience and said that they would delete my information.

Thank you for taking the time to share this in detail — it's fair and important feedback. You're right to question why the first two surveys were credited but the next three weren't; an incomplete profile doesn't explain that inconsistency, and we're sorry our support reply suggested otherwise.

On the data side — we can confirm your deletion request has been processed and your personal data removed from our platform in line with GDPR. Your completed survey responses are anonymised and cannot be traced back to you.

We also take your point about the quality of our support response — that's something we're actively addressing. The experience you've described, completing surveys without being rewarded and receiving an unclear explanation, is not the standard we want to be held to, and we're working to improve both. We're sorry we didn't get it right for you.

Warm regards,

I really enjoy completing these surveys…

I really enjoy completing these surveys as they provide a great opportunity to provide customer experience for various services and products.

The only downside is that it can take quite a while sometimes to find surveys that match my profile. It would be useful if greater profile pre-screening is done before presenting surveys for completion. Other wise all good!!

Thank you for the kind words and the constructive feedback — we really appreciate both! You make a great point about pre-screening; better profile matching upfront means less time searching and more time completing surveys that are actually a fit. We've noted this and will pass it along to our product team. Happy surveying!

We're sorry about that — receiving an email about a waiting survey only to find nothing there is frustrating. This usually happens when a survey fills its quota between the time the invitation is sent and when you click the link. We're working to improve how quickly we update survey availability so invitations are only sent when a survey is still active. Thank you for flagging it.

Whilst I enjoy doing surveys

Whilst I enjoy doing surveys, I would like to see the rewards offered increased. Doing surveys for under a $1 seems pointless and only beneficial towards those who want the information we supply.

Thank you for the honest feedback — it's a fair point and one we hear. We're continuously working to bring more higher-value surveys to the platform, and your interests and profile play a big part in unlocking those opportunities. The more complete your profile, the better your chances of matching with surveys that pay more. We appreciate you sticking with it and will keep pushing to improve the reward levels on offer.

Seems to be scammy

Seems to be scammy. I clicked on a Survey World advert and was sent to something called Life Points which wanted personal information and a new account. Life Points itself has a low review rating with people calling it out as a scam. Too many very red flags for me.

Hi Simon, we understand how redirects can feel worrying, especially when you’re sent to a provider you don’t know yet. We want to reassure you that LifePoints is a legitimate survey partner, and some surveys require creating an account directly with the provider so they can verify your eligibility and handle rewards securely.
Nothing about this flow is unsafe or unusual, and you’re always free to skip any survey or provider you’re not comfortable with. If you ever have questions about a redirect or want us to check a specific survey link, our support team is here to help.

The worst survey platform you can find

They find surveys that pay several dollars and sell them to you for cents, essentially ripping you off while doing absolutely nothing. Regularly steal money from your account, calling it "corrections". Constantly lie to you about test duration too. I signed up with 18 survey platforms and this one is the absolutely worst one of them.

Thank you for sharing your concerns and we want to clarify a few points to make sure everything is transparent.
SurveyWorld doesn’t change survey payouts or “sell” surveys. Each survey’s value is set by the provider and is always shown upfront before you start. If a survey pays only a few cents, that is the provider’s reward structure, not ours.
Regarding “corrections”, these are automated adjustments applied by survey providers when a session is invalidated on their side — for example, due to inconsistent answers or incomplete triggers. We never remove points manually, and we never receive credit for sessions that fail provider validation.Survey duration is also provided directly by the survey owner. We display the estimated time they give us, but actual duration can vary depending on routing and targeting.
We’re sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t matched your expectations, especially since you’ve tried many platforms. We’re continuously improving our profiling and matching to reduce disqualifications and failed sessions.
If you’d like us to review specific survey attempts, our support team is here to help.

When accessing the surveys

When accessing the surveys, the surveys which have the higher dollar amount are never available. And, when you start a survey, you may get half way through and then it tells you that you do not qualify for this survey. WHY?

Hi Bessie,
Usually participant go for the larger reward survey that means that if there are any quotas set-up they will fill-up faster, in shorter there is a high demand for those surveys this is why they tend to close and become unavailable faster. Regarding mid-survey screenouts we have noticed this pattern as well and working on improving the filtering process so that people do not get screen out as often. Thank you in advance for your understanding

Why would you sign up for a website…

Why would you sign up for a website that lies to you? That's a really good question, because "Surveyworld" or "Branded Surveys" or whatever they call themselves today, is not trustworthy.

As I was writing a birthday wish to a friend on Facebook I saw an ad that was obviously utilizing the demographic data that Facebook sold them to see what my personal interests were. The ad said something to the effect of, "Do surveys about motor vehicles and get paid" with a picture of someone riding a motorcycle. I happen to ride motorcycles so I figured, what the heck...I'll give them a dummy email address and see what this is about.

Well....I was right in my hunch. They don't have anything related to surveys about my personal interests. That ad was just to lure me in and create an account. No, instead, they want me to do mystery 4 minute surveys or install some mobile games and review them. Nothing to do with motor vehicles or motorcycles...not even a mention of them. So their bait is just a scam to lure you in and waste your time taking surveys for pennies of topics you couldn't care less about. So ask yourself, would you do business with a company this unscrupulous? Hopefully not, and I just saved you a lot of your time.

Now, here comes the paid spokesperson from their company to tell you that "we're really sorry...I'll have to look into that for you" or "We weren't aware that ads were running like this" or some other lie that they keep posting in responses to other people calling them out on their BS on Trustpilot. It's pathetic.

Not worth the time.I was supposed to get a Burger King…

I was supposed to get a Burger King gift card for my rewards back in the first part of June. They never sent it. Now they say it was a digital gift card. I can't use that even if I could find it. Send me a physical card! They keep saying to get back to them after telling me something that does me no good, but don't bother to tell me HOW to get back with them. I want my reward!!
