None of the 3 eSIMs I bought worked
We bought 3 eSIMs in total, in the begining all 3 had problems neither us nor the technical support team could fix. Only after we had bought another 2 eSIMs from another company did we recieve a message saying that the third eSIM was then ready to be used and we couldn't ask for a refund on that one as it had been activated (even though we didn't use it).
Leaving that part aside, the customer service team was efficient and ready to help and were able to refund 2 out of the 3 eSIMs, which is always a big plus.

I purchased a 30-day, 3 GB eSIM, but the email receipt said 15 days. When I sent an email to inquire, there was no response. The eSim did not work in Tanzania.

The coverage you describe has a reason worth naming: the Simbye Indonesia eSIM isn't tied to one operator. It moves between Telkomsel, Indosat and XL Axiata depending on which has the stronger signal where you are, which is why the gap between a busy city centre and a quiet stretch of coast is less pronounced than with a single-network SIM.
And if a future trip needs voice as well as data, there's an Indonesia eSIM that includes calls and texts with its own phone number. Safe travels!

One thing makes it much easier and a lot of people miss it: the email contains a direct installation link, not just the QR code. Tapping that link on the phone itself installs the Simbye eSIM without scanning anything and without needing a second screen. The QR code is only there for people who prefer it. Never worked with my banks only Spam messages
I received mostly spam on that number. Non of my banks could use that number to send my codes to verify accounts. I had several friends text me and didn’t receive any.

The eSIM did not work at all. I was unable to receive any text messages, including verification codes from my US bank. I couldn't use the service in any meaningful way from the start. I requested a refund, and they told me $0 would be refunded. Ridiculous! Customer service is horrible. Just stay away from Simbye...

Great service
Great service, but a bit pricier than a physical SIM, which you can snag in Spain for 10 Euros with 90GB of data. I used this esim in Poland, Netherlands and Spain.
