Before using halal collagen l had body aches and it was affecting my mobility and sleep

My skin elasticity and texture as well as nails has improved.
I didn't see much improvement in my hair (however l lost alot of hair when l had covid a few years back)
In comparison to price with other products in the market this collagen is very reasonably priced.

However continuing is important just like any other supplements you need to use it a few months to see results

Bad experience

My first order of 3 packets went very well. There is a slight strange flavour when i mix it with water though (not totally unflavoured) so i normally mix it with milk or soya milk there is a slight unpleasant flavour so it's better to mix with milk instead of water.

After i have my first 3 packets all my joint pains disappeared especially like when sitting for long or praying seemed to disappear and hair fall also lessened significantly. Once i took a 2 month gap, i realized it came back, that's when i ordered 6 more packets. So on the plus side, the collage really does have a positive impact on joint strengthening as well as hair fall for sure.

Would have given a 5 star if not for the shipping problem i faced. I got 1 packet out of 6 the 2nd round i ordered. After 2 rounds of email complains finally got the balance 5 packets after another 4 weeks, otherwise product is very good.

As a Muslim, I feel compelled to write this review. The "halal" collagen is not likely halal. There is no 90-day money back guarantee. Your credit card will be charged every TWO WEEKS moving forward without your consent to subscribe, and no additional products will be delivered.

Halal Status: When I bought the item, the company company's website had a claim that it is certified by the American Halal Foundation. I called the AHF and checked - they found no such certification and sent the claim to their compliance department to investigate. Soon after, the website changed the wording to "Certified Hand- Slaughtered Zabiha Halal". I don't believe them for a second. To lie about a halal certification as a Muslim is already a breach of trust.

Made in China: I ordered from Canada. This product claims to be made in the USA but tracking clearly shows it originates from mainland China. That's why it'll come in 10-15 days rather than the 2-4 business days they claim. There is a templated email from the company that will apologize for the delay.

Likely Drop-shipping. A quick search on AliBaba will show that you can find bovine collagen made in China. This is likely a drop-shipping company claiming that it is "halal" to scam the Muslim community. One the product arrived, the back of the package has a residential condo unit in Toronto as the company's address.

Customer Service: The company is run by one woman. She is the founder, she is the Customer Service Rep, and she will stop responding to you as soon as you request the "no questions asked" 90-day money back guarantee. Her emails are copy-pasted from customers who have contacted the company for the same issues - so much so that she even forgets to change the name of who she was addressing in the email to.

Subscription without consent: Muslims, be warned. Once you order from the company for the first time, you will be subscribed to a bi-weekly subscription. There is no where in the ordering process where this is made clear to you. Once your card is charged again and again, IF you notice the charge, you'll likely Google the website and find their page that tells you about the auto-subscribe process. It claims to be easy to cancel by emailing them (her). She will likely not respond.

I had to get my bank to cancel my credit card to avoid future charges. When I emailed stating I will be taking legal action, my recent charge was reversed by her within 4 minutes (still no response to my many emails, she's reading them, just not replying).

If you or your loved ones care about eating halal - do not buy from this brand. Don't make the same mistake as me.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. Our order took about 6 days to arrive, although the expected delivery time was 2–5 days.

Even more disappointing was that the order was defective. We ordered and paid for 3 bags, but only received 1 bag. We don't fully understand this, and we of course hope that the error will be corrected as soon as possible.

We actually expected a better experience.

I had a very disappointing experience with Salam Wellness and would not recommend buying their halal collagen. First, the website advertised delivery within 2–5 days, but my order didn’t arrive until about a week and a half later. It also stated that a free recipe book would be included with my order, but it wasn’t. Another issue was that I was unexpectedly charged around $50 a few days after placing my order. When I contacted customer service, I was told I had signed up for a subscription. I was not aware that I had enrolled in any subscription, and I don’t believe I intentionally signed up for one. After I complained, they refunded the subscription charge, but they also removed the free recipe book that had been promised. The biggest disappointment was the product itself. The collagen was advertised as having little to no taste, but the one I received had a very unpleasant taste. I found it so bad that I didn’t want to use it again. The company also advertises a 90-day money-back guarantee if you’re not satisfied. I contacted them to request a refund because I genuinely wasn’t happy with the product. After my initial messages, they stopped responding, and I have still not received my refund. Based on my personal experience, I feel very disappointed with both the product and the customer service. I wish I had chosen one of the many other halal collagen brands available instead. I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision before purchasing.

It’s a good product; I’ve been using it for a week, and it dissolves well and has a neutral taste.

I love this unflavoured collagen, as it does not effect my morning coffee or even drinking it on its own have no taste n nice to drink while taking my medicines. It has been only a week, I can see some improvement on my hands. Looks firmer now. I hope it will firm my face n minimise my wrinkles.

It has a horrible taste, it's acidic and the smell is not pleasant at all. I've tried to consume it but I can't even drink it.

Not sure why I was charged twice. I called several times, stayed on hold for 45 minutes and never spoke to anyone regarding these charges. Never received anything from this company.
If I could give this company a 0, I would. Charged on 17 and again on 22nd. Had to get my bank involved.
