Horrid service, no respect. Imagine paying 106.xx and shivering the entire way. No heat, only cold air blowing through the vents. At Kingston I begged for the heat to be put on. For 15 minutes it was, then back to cool... Additionally clients were forced to wait in the bus with open doors for 45-60 minutes. The M-T and T-M busses must wait for the Ottawa bus to arrive. Then the transfer of passengers. Fast forward to December and imagine how uncomfortable this shall be. Not worth the money or the risk of a bad cold.

Avoid Megabus and their on-line booking, especially when booking multiple trips. I tried to book return travel for three consecutive Thursdays (St. Catharines to Toronto) but was issued three tickets for one of the trips. Unfortunately I did not realize that the tickets were issued in triplicate until I went to use one of the tiockets and noticed that Megabus' had issued me the wrong tickets.
This occured again recently (Sept. 20) when I tried to book more travel and noticed that between placing the order and paying three of the ticket dates were changed.
When I contacted the company regarding their ticket issuing problem this was their response: "Thank you for contacting Megabus Customer Service. I apologize for any inconvenience this incident may have caused you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. After reviewing your account, we see that the date of your trip has already passed; therefore, your ticket is no longer valid. Unfortunately, no credits or refunds can be offered when a ticket is not used. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for contacting Megabus."

You can imagine I will not travel with them again and I encourage everyone to avoid working with this company.

Not worth 1 star, but had to choose something …
Booked a bus for 4am departure from Kingston. We had a flight to catch at Toronto Pearson at 11am. We were going to arrive at airport 5hrs in advance (due to limited bus service availability).
That morning we sat at the bus depot for 2.5hours. Driver never did arrive.

On top of the $250 in bus tickets, we then had to pay for a uber to make it to the airport on time (another $480 expense).

When we complained about the terrible service and lack of notice to its patrons; MegaBus offered an insulting $10 credit to be used on their bus lines. $10 total, not per person …. just $10. Basically they said thanks for the donation and peaced out.

Absolutely will NEVER use this Company as an option of travel. And I highly recommend you don’t either.
