Excellent customer support and a great experience

I purchased the Handpan Fundamentals course and initially had a technical issue where the course didn’t appear in my account after payment. I contacted their support team, and Julie was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole process.

Later, I also received a 20% discount code through an email survey shortly after my purchase. I asked whether it might be possible to apply it retroactively, and they kindly refunded the difference, which I really appreciated.

Everything was handled warmly, professionally, and fairly. I’m very happy with both the courses and the support I received.

I experienced a valuable learnings in the basics of understanding my handpan to start performing my own melodies, transitions and rythms, to feel relaxed every night before go to sleep, and in my meditation journeys. Malten has a teaching mood I enjoy a lot because is very intuitive and practical for the first lesson till the end. For sure I Will continue learning from him and very GRATEFUL for experience this.

The videos and instruction are top notch. Easy to follow, great assignments and I quickly was making music on my hardpan with very little effort. I like that he talks about the feeling of the music vs being so "rote". Highly recommend.

So far I am really enjoying the video lessons, e-book, as well as the online community forum that comes with the Fundamentals course.

I came into this after trying to learn from different tutorials that I found on Youtube. I made some progress, enough that I felt enthusiastic enough to actually take a real course and make more progress.

This course is a good fit for me because I can do the lessons when I have a little time. It is giving me confidence and the e-book is helpful and well put together.

The forum and online community as well as Zoom get togethers, are helpful if you appreciate having a community who shares the interest of the handpan!

About a year and a half ago, while searching for calming meditation music, I discovered Malte Marten's handpan recordings. I started listening to them every day at work, quietly in the background, and gradually became fascinated by the instrument itself. The desire to try playing a handpan kept growing until, one month ago, I finally gave myself the perfect birthday gift: a Yatao handpan together with the D Kurd Scale Course.

The course has been an incredible help in getting to know my instrument. Malte has a remarkable gift for explaining everything in such a clear and accessible way. Even though I had absolutely no previous experience playing any musical instrument, after just one month I can already play around ten different rhythms reasonably well.

I have also watched lessons from other handpan teachers, but for me Malte is truly exceptional—not only because of the clarity of his teaching, but also because of the calmness, kindness, and genuine warmth he brings to every lesson.

The handpan tutorials are visually very clear. I have been playing 18 months now after doing the Fundamentals and the D Kurd scale course. You can always come back to them and refresh your knowledge ay any time, which I find so helpful. Love it. Can't recommend more! I love being in the community and taking part in the monthly challenges as well. So good to really progress by uploading videos of yourself playing. My confidence has truly grown.

I took a live handpan class a year ago. It helped me a lot to loosen my hands and learn different techniques, but it never really helped me understand how to approach studying the instrument. The Malte Marten method opened my eyes when it explained the three pillars on which handpan music is based: harmony, rhythm, and melody. Before, I was confused and felt lost, but now I feel like I've found my way. The class I took last year left me with a major gap: a lack of harmony and harmonic progressions. I can't wait to start studying the different patterns of the Malte Marten method. I recommend it to anyone with an intuitive and empathetic mindset. INFJ

Malte’s video a beautifully shot and very easy to follow. The instructions clear and the depth and quality is there. The Hand Pan Fundamentals course comes with a lot of material, even an e-book which is nicely laid out and is an easy read. Not only is the course great but the Malte Marten Method community is a lovely place to grow and share and get involved with. I can’t recommend this course enough if you are serious about learning the Hand Pan.

I bought the fundamentals course for the MMM. Very easy to follow and new content has been added since my first purchase at no extra cost. Great investment!

Malte is truly a master of the handpan and his way of teaching is far beyond what I expected. The didactic of the two courses I have taken (the beginner course and the 12 weeks journey) is amazingly well structured and crafted to give you the very best experience with the handpan. Maltes entusiasme about you learning is also perceived clearly through the screen and I would love to meet malte one day…

A good method with a great teacher that has good pedagogy and encouraging attitude towards learning, and a system that gives a progressive and meaningful journey towards learning the handpan. You also get access to Notepan (tab feature for playalongs) through some of the educational packages than ensures progression for a loong time, and a user friendly and positive community and learning plattform! + many more !
Personally I wouldve loved more content on composition and improvization more input on how to get there in terms of advice.
And more content/inspiration on how to use different techniques to spice up a composition with the wrist, the knock etc.

I really enjoy the MMM course. You can always look back, and everything is explained well and calmly. There is space to connect with fellow handpanners. The atmosphere is very relaxed and loving. I feel valued as a person; I am allowed to be myself without judgment within the community🙏🏼.
There are also monthly challenges to do, which always include a fun challenge 🙏🏼.

Accessible to everyone and definitely worth the effort. I recommend everyone follow the MMM fundamentals.
