I am not a Lusha customer — my data was scraped/added to their database without my consent. On 29 April I sent a formal GDPR request to access and delete my data. I got only a generic auto-reply, no substance. Two months later, still no confirmation of deletion, and on 25 June I was contacted by a third party who got my details from Lusha — proof they kept processing my data well past the legal deadline.
If your company uses Lusha, be aware you're exposing yourselves to reputational risk. People whose data was scraped without consent are increasingly filing complaints, and non-compliant vendors reflect poorly on the businesses that use them.

I have never signed up to them or even heard of them but they have listed my name and number as an electrical equipment supplier and I have had a dozen unsolicited calls from companies who have presumably paid for this misinformation (I am barley qualified to change a light bulb)

Awful company, that do not respond to emails or account requests. Completely ignored when ask to consider requests, no allowance or negotiation with account and only interested in securing a new fee for the year. Be very careful, and tread carefully as other reviewers have said.

Will not renew and looking for a new provider.

Lusha is the typical example of a „spam factory“.
- To their customers, they are claiming that they are „fully GDPR compliant“, which is complete nonsense.
- They are obtaining their data through some dark backwater online channels. There is a presumption that individuals have agreed to their data being used, which is untrue.
- When individuals ask for their data to be removed, Lusha does not action these requests. Instead, they are directing people to „opt-out links“ of different sub-providers (which do not work).

I continue to receive unsolicited sales calls from companies who state they have received my number from Lusha, despite the fact my (personal) telephone number is registered with the TPS. When this happens, I collect all details of the caller and then explain that they are in breach of local legislation by using the information obtained from Lusha.

When based in the UK, my recommendation is to:
- report every unsolicited sales call to 7726
- report every call & email received to the ICO.

My number is personal and yet - you somehow manage to list it on your website for people to call and sell my details. Reporting to ICO what a disgrace!

They take your unused credits that you paid for :)

Despite multiple requests the are still illegally selling my contact details to their customers. How can a company as immoral as this operate in the uk legally? UK companies using this service do so knowing the data they receive was obtained through illegal means.

My details are listed on Lusha's database despite me not having any connection to the business associated with my name and number, i've contacted Lusha 9 months ago and they confirmed via email that my details have been removed, despite this i'm still getting weekly calls from sales teams using Lusha's database

I have been having several calls recently from people trying to get ahold of someone with a similar name to mine about an IT job and selling IT services. They all got my number from Lusha. Not a verified service. Scammers and fraud.

This company harvests data obtained illegally through data leaks and then sells it to other companies. Fair warning to ANY organisation if you call me on my personal number that you have obtained from this awful service then you WILL get some rather choice language and hung up on. You will be remembered as someone who had intruded on my personal time on a number obtained illegally and I will most likely never consider you for any professional sales Or engagement. DO NOT USE LUSHA all you will do is severely upset the people You are trying to court as a customer.

Lusha Customer here - DO NOT PAY THEM FOR DATA.

Highest inaccuracy and bounce rates out of all providers I've used (cognism, apollo, clay, hunter.io) around 17-40% bounces or risky emails.

Also doesn't seem to adhere to GDPR - plenty of prospects questioning how we've got their personal cell (no work cell listed, or mobile listed as work cell).

Lusha also will periodically rate limit our accounts - they claim "unlimited manual emails and phone reveals via extension". However we've been blocked from revealing phone numbers less than halfway through the month - support gave no advice other than to "Wait for the next month reset" - hence we are in the market for a new provider.

I wouldn't go for Lusha, regardless of use case.

Worst company I've had the displeasure in dealing with. They have the wrong number but will not change the details, I don't even work for company the sales people are trying to contact. Cold calling at its worst!!!!

Many companies are calling me to my private number to try to make business with the company I work for. When I ask them how did they get my number... they got it form Lusha.com.
Well, I haven't sent my data to Lucha, I haven't Authorized Lucha to collect and save my private (nor professional) phone number.

WHAT A TOTAL SCAM...I HOPE SOMEONE LOCATES THE CEO AND THEIR TEAM OF FRAUDSTERS AND GIVES THEM A WAKE-UP CALL...THIS SYSTEM IS STRUCTURED TO DRAIN YOUR MONEY WITHOUT PROVIDING ANYTHING IN EXCHANGE. I JUST PURCHASED 600 CREDITS FOR A DATA SET...IT CONVERTED THEM AND THEN INFORMED ME THAT I MUST SPEND AN ADDITIONAL 600 CREDITS TO DOWNLOAD THEM.....

The worst customer support I have ever experienced. I raised an enquiry to change an email login over a month ago and keep being asked the same questions over and over again for information I have already given. They take a week in between each reply which is them repeating what they have already asked...

Lusha is selling personal phone numbers and emails without consent. My details were harvested from someone else’s phone via a contact-merging app, passed to a third party (LS Mobile Apps Holdings), then sold to Lusha and distributed to their customers for marketing. I never provided my data, never consented, and had no relationship with any of these companies.

They claim “legitimate interest” to justify commercial resale of contact details obtained indirectly from other people’s address books. This is extremely intrusive and results in unsolicited calls and outreach from random companies.

Avoid. This is data harvesting and resale without consent.

Irritating company. Has sold my data to other companies without my approval. So I get mails and phone calls all day long with products and services I didn't ask for.

I asked to unsubscribe my data 1 year ago which they did. But still I get daily offers of other companies where I didn't ask for. The most frustratiing is that the offered products don't match my needs.

This company has cost me a lot of time and money. I refuse to buy any product of any company that has required my data by this comany.

If you're seeking a partner to help with your online marketing tools, I would steer clear from Lusha. They may have your money, but they wont necessarily provide you with a service. They have hundreds of pounds of my money for 5 months and I have not received any service at all. On top of this, they don't want to help in resolving the issue or giving me my money back. So, if you're considering how to best invest, look elsewhere, you'll thank me for it later.

Lusha does not respect data privacy or your "Opt-Out" requests. I have never authorized Lusha to hold, share, or sell my personal data. Despite this, they have acquired my personal emails and phone number without my consent. Over the past months, I have been bombarded with spam calls, only to find out recently from a recruiter that all my private information is still sitting on Lusha’s platform.
Their official removal form is a dead end and does not function. I received an email from Lusha claiming my data was deleted. A recruiter confirmed a month later that my full profile is still active.
They are completely unresponsive on social media (X)
It is appalling that they are harvesting personal emails and numbers and then ignoring legal requests to remove them. Lusha, remove my data immediately and permanently.

They are scammers, once you ask for more credit x 1 month they upgrade your plan +400% and then say "if you want to downgrade you need to cancel your plan and pay 3 times the price"
