I had to change over my online banking arrangements from Halifax and was expecting the worse. All was good but just needed a slight bit of help so phoned Lloyds for the first time, again expecting the worst and although it is a Sunday afternoon I got put into a call-queue quite easily and then answered straight away by a very helpful lady in the UK that I could fully understand and who helped me on my way to the new online banking system.
Sorry for tarring them with the same brush as another "High Street" bank I have to deal with but I was happy to be proved wrong.
They say first impressions count and I am Very impressed with Lloyds customer service!

Lloyds debanked The Canary, a progressive independent news organisation. I've just closed my accounts (former Halifax) as I find their ethical and political stance inexcusable.
it was very helpful setting up an account with you guys

Excellent service from Bolaji at new street branch! He has cleared all my questions over the years and told me useful information about how to finance! I feel like he has told me so much that I have actually earning just from learning so much from him. Much appreciated! Hope he could get promoted, we need more people like him in a bank!

At your Lowestoft branch, we were advised by Megan. It wasn’t only her knowledge, professional ability and manner that were clear. Her cheerful, helpful and considerate disposition made it a pleasure and, no doubt, for those of us who find such business daunting, reassuring.

Still no further post for the one time code that they are sending. Had to ask for a new one a week ago, and still nothing. Sending by post is not a good option, especially when text, and email codes already processed. Lloyds Bank are useless for customer care. Horrible business to deal with, and struggling to find a new bank so their attitude is TOUGH LUCK and it is your problem.
Tried calling, and on a 30 minute hold. Stupid system is advising me to sign online, though I cannot, and it keeps advising me to use internet or mobile app, but cannot because Lloyds cannot sort out my access, and cannot be bothered with Halifax customers.
Got sent a new link, but now have to wait for a 3rd code to be sent by post, so now it will be another 10 days, which took for the 1str code, and the 2nd has still not arrived. What is the point in sending me a number to call to be messed about again

I have had a current account and credit card with the Halifax for years without problems. Halifax has recently been taken over by Lloyds. Security appears to be lax at Lloyds because since the takeover my account has been subject to fraud.
A loan was fraudulently taken out in my name and a joint account in my name was opened fraudulently by someone I have never met. Furthermore my contact numbers were changed by a fraudster.
If this wasn't bad enough, the sloppy response by Lloyds was deeply concerning. When I attempted to call and report the fraud I had to spend literally hours on hold before explaining the issue multiple times to various call handlers (some of whom appeared to have left school too soon ..), being passed from 'team' to 'team' as well as being cut off and having to call and wait on hold again.
Eventually my internet account was blocked while I have wait for the problem to be investigated and a code to arrive in the post ...
Moving my current account to another bank is a pain, but that is what I plan to do.
If you have an account with Lloyds then consider moving it to a bank that takes security seriously.
If you were thinking of opening an account with Lloyds, then don't.

I see that Lloyds have responded to my review by providing links to their website that I can click on to report the poor customer service.
Having checked the links, I can see that they would just put me back into the same doom loop of useless 'Virtual Assistant' chatbots and long waits on hold to speak to a human who would probably just tell me that they need to transfer me to another "team", resulting in a further long wait on hold ...

Borrowed 6k
Blocked my account when tried to move to main barclays acc
Did a balance transfer and tried to transfer
Got blocked again
This bank is way too strict and annoying and time wasting to deal with , i had to go at least 3 times in the branch to sort things out with the blocked acc/app.
Barclays is as safe but is not so crazy when comes to moving money . I can confidently say Lloyds Bank sucks

I want to sincerely commend Toyin from Lloyd’s Bank, Market Street branch in Manchester.
During my visit, Toyin really listened to me. She took her time to understand everything and sorted out all my issues with so much care and patience.
What stood out most is that Toyin does far more than her job. It’s obvious she has a genuine passion for helping people. She made me feel truly cared for, not just processed.
Thanks to her, my visit to Lloyd’s was worth it. I left feeling valued and reassured.
Thank you for the great service.

Rang these for the first ever time (and last will change banks now! my Halifax account had changed to these charlatans) as I was worried about a potential fraud abroad on my account a certain chap called Michael was incredibly rude had no empathy of my situation I was pretty much called a liar! This is was before being transferred to the actual fraud department. As I expressed my disbelief to the fraud department personnel she actually found my experience funny and laughed! Avoid like the plague disgusting experience.

I have a Lloyds Ultra Credit card and was having problems setting it up. Tried to contact via chat line. Waited over 30 minutes for a real 'chat' but then the 'advisor' came on with a very short and unhelpful response and disappeared. I then waited for ages (asking a follow-up question) but got no reply.... Not at all impressed (and the Chat-bot was totally useless too). This is a very poor start.
