The wellies are very good like they usually are. I’ve only scored 4* because of them not making kids wellies any longer we like to all have matching and this year my little unfortunately won’t be able... See more

My boots developed a hole in them and…
My boots developed a hole in them and when I contacted customer services, I was told the warrenty had run out ( I bought them in 2023). I was directed to a product called Stormsure with a link. I'm not sure why Le Chemeau think that's a good resolution and what it says about their products to basically direct you to 'patch' up your boots. I was given a 20% of code but that would mean buying another pair from Le Chemeau and Im not sure I have confidence in this brand anymore. For the price point you pay, I don't believe they hold up to the quality expected.

This is my 3rd pair love them so much…
This is my 3rd pair love them so much best boots I’ve owned won’t buy anything else definitely worth the money
2nd pair of Le chameau
I already have a pair of Le Chameau wellies which I love, so ordered the chelsea boots. Lightweight and comfortable, I've worn them all day today in the garden - arrived and delivered as expected.
Not the quality boots they once were.
I had a pair of Le Chameau neoprene-lined boots that served me exceptionally well for around 15 years. Eventually the soles cracked and started leaking, so I decided it was finally time to replace them.
Unfortunately, I’ve had two major issues with the new boots.
Firstly, my old boots had a fabric panel around the inside of the heel. The new design replaces this with a cream-coloured rubber material. Within about 30 minutes of walking, this rubber rubs holes in my socks and then causes severe blisters on my heels. I’ve since discovered that many other customers have reported exactly the same problem online. The commonly suggested fix is to cover the rubber with gaffer tape, but I don’t think customers should have to modify an expensive premium boot just to make it wearable.
Secondly, the durability has been very disappointing. The first pair lasted only a year before the soles cracked, and although they were replaced under warranty, the replacement pair is now starting to crack after only six months.
I won’t be seeking another warranty replacement because, even if the soles are replaced, the heel design still makes the boots uncomfortable to wear.
My question is: if this heel problem is so widely documented, why has Le Chameau not returned to the original fabric heel lining that worked so well for many years? My original boots lasted 15 years and were comfortable throughout, whereas the current design appears to have introduced a problem that simply didn’t exist before.

The deck shoes are not very good
The deck shoes are not very good. They gape at the top , bits of grit and dust fall into the shie , so I have consistently had to take them off and empty the bits .
The laces don’t stay fastened, even when I double knot them.
The insole on one shoe comes out when I take off my shoes. I have glued them , but it hasn’t worked.
They were a present from my daughter, so I continued to wear them .
I would not recommend these shoes for everyday wear , then you wouldn’t get annoyed by doing the things I have explained repeatedly. Oh and they stain , although I did spray with a few times before the first wearing,
Sorry about this but they aren’t cheap and should be thought through when the lifestyle they are meant for isn’t really appropriate.

Fantastic quality
Fantastic quality. Great to walk in and work in.
Highly recommend. Size fits true to size. Maybe go half a size up if want to wear thick socks.
Love these boots
Love these boots. I think this is probably my 3rd or 4th pair. When I need a new pair I usually think I should try another make but I dont. Theyre rrally comfy. Last for ages and look good too.
Definitely worth the money.
420£ just not worth it for some leather…
420£ just not worth it for some leather lined boots. Maybe the biggest part goes to the CEO for nothing. Likely overpaid anyway. First time in the lake wet socks, Then it disappeared again very odd, but yes definitely overrated especially in relation to poor service.

Boots arrived very quickly
Boots arrived very quickly , beautifully packed , I ordered the Chelsea boot , which I wanted to use for gardening . They are elegant and have great support . However , as an older person I would advise sizing up as they are difficult to pull on and to allow for a sock . I am normally a size 38 but would in future order a 39 otherwise I am in danger of getting a hernia !!!
Great resolution and quality
After initially sending me an odd-sized pair of boots, Zoe, my Customer Service contact was super helpful in sending a replacement pair immediately. Accidents happen, so it's important to resolve things with the minimum of fuss and delay. In this case, exceptional.
I would add, that for an 'Imperfect' pair of boots, one boot appears to be perfect and the other only a very minor blemish.
Best wellington boots!
The best Wellington boots ever! So comfortable, wonderful design and they last for years. Delivery very prompt! This is my second pair and I wouldn’t go anyone else for my boots.
Best boot I've ever bought and I've…
Best boot I've ever bought and I've bought a lot! amazing company to deal with very responsive and honoured the warranty no difficulty.
Well worth the cost.
Le Chameau Wellington Boots – A Beautiful Upgrade
I recently made the switch from Hunter to Le Chameau wellington boots. I’d been perfectly happy with my Hunters for years, right up until the side strap snapped and couldn’t be repaired. That pushed me to explore other options, and I came across Le Chameau. I’m so glad I did.
The difference is remarkable. The quality feels superior in every way. The colour is rich, the rubber beautifully flexible, and the interior lining is elegant designed. My feet measure 24 cm (size 38), but as I usually wear a 39, I chose that size. They fit well with a thicker sock. Interestingly, my left boot fits slightly better than the right despite both feet measuring the same, so that may come down to manufacturing variation. They feel a little loose on uneven terrain, and I might consider trying an extra or different insole, especially as the National Trust boot offers the removable insole option.
The Le Chameau website was informative, ordering was simple, and delivery was prompt. Packaging was secure and everything arrived quick and in perfect condition. Truly, the whole experience, from browsing to first wear, couldn’t have been better. Just a little disappointed - whilst checking the website again - to discover I am missing out on a free National Trust boot bag ;-)
Great boots
These are great boots I’ve had 3 pairs and they all last over 2 years when other boots last me 6-9 months. They are comfy to wear and the Neoprene keeps your feet warm. Quick despatch fem Le Chameau too.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM LE CHAMEAU
PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM LE CHAMEAU! “UPDATE” Le Chameau do not publish negative reviews left on their website-I’m not sure if this is legal but it is misleading customer satisfaction. This is their seventh one star review this year alone! Their two year manufacturers guarantee is a scam and they will come up with every excuse
to not refund faulty boots if they have been worn, which makes a two year warranty (which implies a quality product that you can trust) completely useless! Maybe the quality used to be better before they became so popular, and has since declined to keep up with demand, and I imagine their ‘implied’ warranty system has so many loop holes because so people complain about quality issues within the first two years. This is my second pair of boots, when I bought the first pair the website mentioned a 10 year guarantee which they are no longer advertised to have. The first pair split where the ankle bends whilst walking and let water in. They would not refund me. I stupidly thought it was a fluke so purchased this second pair which have completely faded to white in patches after just nine months and look a complete mess! They refuse to refund them, claiming that I must have done something to them despite me telling them that I hadn’t. My Mum also has a pair which she purchased shortly after my first pair, these have split terribly around the ankles and let water in. They would not refund these either. Save your money, I wish I had. Appalling customer service.

Website description was really helpful
Website description was really helpful. My wife has narrow feet/ankles so wanted slimmer-fit wellies. That's exactly what she has got and she said they are the best wellies she has ever had. Order arrived in 3 days.
Excellent wellington boots although…
Excellent wellington boots although extremely difficult to put on and remove, even with a boot jack.
Great buy
Great buy, and very quick delivery . Wife is absolutely delighted with her new boots. Will definitely use this company again in future
Amazing experience and amazing customer…
Amazing experience and amazing customer service really helpful with what I needed and disabilities friendly as well
It was easy to order
It was easy to order. Arrived quickly and on time. Unfortunately the calf area with trousers were a bit too tight so I asked a replacement with more calf space. Sending back and receiving the new one was easy and very quick.
Since then it’s brilliant to walk with my dog.
