Have purchased various items from Oliver Sweeney over the years. Have always had a positive experience with them, clothing and footwear have always been of outstanding quality and great prices.

Great company quality products at reasonable prices what’s not to like

Oliver Sweeney is always excellent - the quality of the clothing and shoes is really high and they have great sales (early January and in August) where a lot of items are 50% off or more. One of my favourite stores.

Had a delivery issue with Parcel Force maintaining that they had attempted delivery of an item from Oliver Sweeney many times which was totally untrue and the item was a special gift.
I made contact with Oliver Sweeney and had the good fortune to make contact with Ridian customer services……. nothing short of exceptional service sorted everything out for me. Sadly so rare today.

Ridian was very helpful and dealt with my query quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased with the outcome.

Had some technical issues with returning an exchanged item so I emailed the customer support team with my problem.

Within 10 minutes, Ridian had called meC explained the issue and then sorted it out for me.

Very rare to get this sort of customer service these days, thank you!

Size of trainer ordered originally was too small but replacement half size larger was promptly posted and is perfect fit.
In summary: an exemplary demonstration of first class customer service providing hassle-free access to excellent merchandise.

After what has been a bit of a roller coaster experience recently, I have had to update my previous review, to reflect the customer service from Oliver Sweeney.

Whilst I'm by no means a prolific customer, I probably average a few purchases a year, often waiting for sale items and have had some excellent pieces, I am still a customer and have certain expectations from any merchant that positions themselves as a designer brand. I'm not going to say my experiences have been all good but they haven't been all bad either. I am very vocal when things do go wrong and rightly so, but I do also have to acknowledge when a merchant makes a genuine effort to resolve situations.

With my most recent purchase, I felt like everything that could have gone wrong, did. I purchased two items, only to receive a notification that one of the pieces was out of stock. As it was an outfit, I respond asking to cancel the full order, as one piece simply wasn't suitable. I then received an email informing me they had a return of the shirt and that had been put through on next day delivery, to fulfil my order. Having had delivery issues in the past, I awaited delivery before updating my complaint. You couldn't make it up, the item arrived and had likely been returned due to being faulty. The sleeve ends were sewn inside out, so that the inside of the sleeve was on display, not the outside. I have ordered this item previously, so knew it was incorrect and upon further inspection, I also found some very loose stitching and having already had the issues with ordering, not in stock etc I got back in touch with Oliver Sweeney to check my options.

Fast forward to today, where I received a call directly from them, to apologise for the issue, share some context around the team, setup and how things can go wrong, which was an appreciated personal touch. I believe I've had my complaints with this particular staff member before but appreciated this didn't generate any hostility, or barriers and they were still willing to reach out and try and resolve the issue. They proposed the solution, I accepted it and I'm very happy with the outcome.

I don't think 5 stars is a fair reflection, as things did go wrong and had I just received the two items, without issue, none of this would have happened but the genuine effort to firstly fulfil the order, and secondly reach out and offer a solution for the faulty item, anything less than 4 stars wouldn't be right.

Just when I thought I was our, you pull me back on Oliver Sweeney but I have to acknowledge and commend brands that do try their utmost to resolve situations, which I felt was the case here. Thank you.

Great service and product

Have been a customer for over 22years and always very pleased with the design and craftsmanship. Many shoes are made in Italy which is my favourite country to visit. They are my “go to" cobbler and everyone comments positively on the shoes.

Excellent service as always they never let me down

Ordered size 11. I’m a 10.5 usually. Literally could not get my foot into the shoe. Nowhere near a normal size 11. Returned within the hour. But had to chase refund as the return went to Aberdeen.
Very poor.

Sarah the customer service agent I dealt with was fantastic. I queried the wear in some shoes only 1-year old. Sarah agreed, and offered to replace them or offer a voucher instead. Even though the exact shoes were not available alternative options were provided, and once I chose they were despatched immediately. Super efficient! Excellent service!

OS continue to deliver. I recently purchased some OS footwear and when they arrived they were not in the usual high quality black OS shoe boxes and didn't have any shoe bags. I wrote to the customer service team and Ridian phoned me back. He explained the situation and said he would endeavour to find me some boxes and shoe bags. These both arrived the next day, making my OS shopping experience complete. A satisfied and loyal OS customer.

Have purchased from OS a number of times over the past year and the service is always very good with fast delivery and on a couple of occasions where I did have a problem, the matter was dealt with without any fuss. My latest purchase unfortunately came up a bit small so I had to return and this was all very straightforward. Their shoes are well made and reasonably priced, though one can generally get them somewhat reduced on promotion.
