Solid partner for our underground label since 2021

I’ve been working with iMusician since 2021 with my label EC Underground and have released over 70 main albums through them so far. For an underground label like ours, reliability and respect are essential, and they’ve delivered on both.
Distribution has been smooth overall, and what really stands out is their "customer service". Whenever I’ve had questions or needed help, the support team has been quick, clear, and genuinely helpful. You always feel like there’s a real person on the other side who understands what you’re trying to do with your music.
So far, so good – we’re grateful for the collaboration and the way they support independent, niche labels. Big up to the iMusician team.

Great support and competence

IMusician supported me in all phases of the distribution of my music, and promptly protected my position in a moment of difficulty caused by a misunderstanding related to the acquisition of metadata.

Highly recommended! Competence, speed, attention and courtesy!

Switched here from Distrokid

I first subscribed to Distrokid but had to cancel when I realized they didn’t support Apple Classical. I ended up choosing iMusician because they distributed to Idagio, which is now bankrupt, but I must say, the conditions and the support at iMusician are excellent. I can chat with real people who solve problems right away and answer questions when I need. I like the platform and find it quite stable and easy to navigate, albeit a bit mobile-unfriendly. They have no app, but that doesn’t really bother me.

I feel like it’s a great value for the money on the Amplified+ subscription and am happy to stay here for years to come. Do recommend!

Great digital distribution and support.

The digital distribution is great. With the Amplifi+ plan, which is quite a bargain, you get pro features and support.

They're always very kind and help with any issue. Change of audio tracks, change of cover, merge singles into EP, consolidate Youtube channels and even issues with Spotify.

It's great to feel you can count on someone when you need help! We could not reccommend any other distro better (and we already tried many).

⭐️Nice Girls was super distributed⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I absolutely love iMusician! The platform is super easy to use, transparent, and artist-friendly. Uploading releases is smooth, everything is clearly explained, and I really appreciate that they focus on independence and fair conditions for artists. The support is helpful and responsive, and I always feel in control of my music and rights.
Highly recommended for independent artists who want a reliable and empowering distributor.

Great experience

I’ve been using iMusician for a year and so far everything has worked smoothly and great for me. I have made a few mistakes when releasing some tracks, and support eagerly helped me through the process. I’ll continue using the service and definitely recommend it.

They tried to bribe me to remove lol

After submitting multiple service requests and getting zero replies- the day after my 1 star review the legal team reached out to attempt to bribe/bully me to remove via legal action lol

Dear Tyler,

In order to provide appropriate context for those who may read your review, we would like to add certain factual elements that were not mentioned.

The legal department contacted you to terminate the contract following multiple instances of inappropriate and insulting language directed at customer support, which we are unable to reproduce here (including remarks with connotations), as well as threats to share confidential communications (which is unlawful under data protection regulations) and the sharing of personal photographs.

iMusician is a platform that promotes tolerance and exchange and cannot accept any content or behaviour that violates these values.

We believe it is important that the situation is presented in a complete and accurate manner.

Kind regards,
The iMusician team

Hello Joel,

In order to be completely transparent with everyone who reads this review, we would like to point out that you have never been a customer of iMusician.

We refused to work with you due to the extremist religious nature of your release attempt and the threatening language used against our team.

Do not pay the royalties

they are keeping the royalties

Didn't get any sales reports since december 2024, when I asked them on their support, they claimed that my streams on spotify don't generate any royalties. Which I know for facts that is not true.

In the end, they just keep the royalties from artists to themselves

Hello Tanguy Mouilliere (aka Quantun),

In the interest of transparency with our customers, we would like to make an important clarification regarding your review: you have always been paid via PayPal under your own name. For your only release under the artist name “Friend You Know – Quantun”, you received two payments:

€230.47 in March 2025

€51.27 this month

This confirms that we generate royalties for our artists and, most importantly, that we pay them in full, without any commission deducted.

Furthermore, our records show that you have never contacted our customer service team with any requests or issues since creating your account in May 2024.

We therefore invite you to carefully review your PayPal and bank statements, or contact our customer service team if you need any assistance.

Best regards,
The iMusician Team

Bonjour Tanguy Mouilliere (aka Quantun),

iMusician

Outstanding support and a flawless experience with iMusician

Since my very first membership with iMusician, I have been truly impressed with the level of care and professionalism they provide. From the beginning, they guided me through every single step with patience and attention to detail, whether it was transferring my catalog, setting up my releases, or even building my own label.

What stood out the most for me was not only how fast and smooth the whole process was, but also how supported I felt at every stage. It’s rare to find a platform that combines efficiency with genuine dedication to artists’ needs, but iMusician really delivers on both.

Thanks to their clear communication and reliable service, I can focus on my music with complete peace of mind, knowing that the business side of things is handled professionally. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I strongly recommend iMusician to any artist or label looking for a trustworthy partner in the music industry.

Bad UX for disputes

Bad UX for disputes, if you are on one time release payment. I paid for a release that was already on all platforms. When it was re-released with iMusician, I noticed that they put the album in another bands profile. I couldn't send them dispute unless I pay for 10 more euros.

EDIT: I found later that there is a way to register on their community forum and ask for help there. I solved it that way, but it's poor user XP and a bit frustrating.

Support couldn't care less about the service they offer

(I had to remove a part of my review because of trustpilot taking it down otherwise).
this is about imusician.pro, a service that claims to distribute music to various streaming services. The problems I have encountered with both their tech and, most importantly, their support have made me reconsider whether publishing music is something I want to do. It was an overall exhausting and demotivating experience. I planned to publish music I have created over decades step by step - but I very much doubt that imusician is a "sound partner" (pun intended) for this, as I would have to TRUST a partner with something like that - and whatever trust I may have had they have ruined.

It begins with: Their website is buggy, bug reports are pushed aside or ignored. I have seen problems with publications early on that looked like having been caused by this company's "we don't care" approach. I have gotten this impression from the way their support reacted to my inquiries. I assumed that technical issues are what I pay for to be resolved on side of those who caused the problem (their tech or their staff, I don't really care), not by me as the artist, yet, they see it exactly the other way around: I am to provide them with the means to undo their fault.

Facts on table: This publisher published a song under a different artist's identy, not my own. Even though I raised the flag early on, their customer support's response was basically "shrug, so what". Now, after ALL streaming services have my song filed with a different artist, not myself, this "service" expects me to provide ALL streaming services' links to their faulty publication results.

The question remains unanswered, what exactly the artist's job is supposed to be versus the publisher's job. If the artist has to fix mistakes the publisher makes, shouldn't the artist do the publication themselves in the first place.
