Internet fraudsters
Internet fraudsters ! I have held back for sometime in the hope their conscience would ensure my refund arrives. It hasn’t.
Mia, is their service liaison and she is either a bot or without conscience. Helvetus sold me non comparable product and then I needed pay for its return postage months later the refund they claim to have issued via shoppay has never ever arrived. Continual emails encourage you not to complain to banks as it might delay my refund. It’s lies I must now pass to my bank and the police to recover my funds. Do not shop here it is not what they pretend. Liars and thief’s !!!
Absolutely awful chinese tool
Absolutely awful chinese pathetic tweezers paid over 80 euros. Broke at first use, and I mean broke like one of the arms of tge tweezers literally fractured!!!! Scam!!!
Avoid
Strap ordered came from China not Switzerland.
Requested refund. Was told 3 times by Mia that is had been processed and no refund confirmation could be provided.
Had to wait 3 weeks to raise a dispute with my credit card company.
Was told if I did that it would delay refund further, again by Mia.
Immediately I raised the dispute, the refund was made and I received proper confirmation.
Avoid
they from Uzbekistan not Switzerland
on the website they state that they are from Switzerland, but the tracking number is from Uzbekistan. you get a fake tracking number that you cannot track at all and there is no update.
Of course, there is no talk of a refund, nor can you get hold of anyone from support
Spent $100 on a cheap watch strap from China
Spent $100 on a watch strap which was advertised as a premium product from European brand. What I received was a cheap piece of plastic from China. Took over three weeks. It will cost me over $30 to ship it back. Not sure can trust the company to spend additional $30 and risk getting scammed.
I think they count on unhappy consumers not bothering to spend more money to send the product back.
If I'd read some of the negative…
If I'd read some of the negative reviews here before ordering, I probably wouldn't have bought from Helvetus. However, my own experience has been mixed rather than entirely negative, which is why I've settled on 3 stars instead of 1.
In total, I ordered four straps.
The first, for my Cartier, was excellent. The quality, fit and finish genuinely exceeded my expectations. I was half expecting a cheap, generic strap that looked like it cost $20, but whether it was or not, it certainly didn't look or feel that way. In my opinion, it was every bit as good as the original, at a fraction of the price.
The second strap, for my wife's Cartier, was a completely different story. It felt much flimsier and came with a clasp that repeatedly worked itself loose throughout the day. Living in London, where watch theft is unfortunately a real concern, having a strap that could be removed so easily simply wasn't acceptable. I sent Helvetus a video demonstrating the problem. They replied to say they would escalate the issue to customer service, but after that I never heard anything further.
Rather than continue chasing the matter, I ordered another strap identical to the one I'd received for my own watch. Thankfully, that replacement was again excellent. It meant paying twice for what should have been right first time, but I accepted it as one of those things.
The fourth purchase, a strap for my Rolex, simply didn't fit. Whether that was down to the product or my inability to fit it correctly, I honestly can't say. By that point I couldn't face another exchange, so I binned it and moved on.
So that's my experience, for what it's worth. The products themselves seem to be somewhat inconsistent, but when Helvetus gets it right, the quality is genuinely impressive. My only real criticism is the lack of follow-through when something goes wrong.
Would I buy from them again? Surprisingly, yes—I wouldn't rule it out.

This company is one to avoid!
This company is one to avoid! I was sent a leather strap for my Santos watch. It was defective both with the buckle and the mechanism for the quick release. My watch fell off at least three times due to the faulty mechanism.
I had dozens of emails back and forth and finally was told they would replace it but would not cover shipping which would have been $40.00! This was a company problem and not a consumer issue. The band cost approximately $130.00. I took it to a jeweler and was confirmed that the strap was indeed faulty. Over and over I asked for a refund which I was denied and requested to send photos, videos and descriptions of the problem which I promptly did but to no avail. I was out $130.00 plus a $20.00 fee to the jeweler. And my Cartier Santos hit the pavement a couple times when it fell from the strap! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Do not buy!!!
Only gave 1 star because there’s no option to 0 star. Complete scam company!
Do not buy!
Don't buy from them!!!
I bought a strap for a Hublot King Power. The website listed dimensions of 16x29mm, which match the watch. I received a 19x26mm strap instead. When I filed a complaint, I was told that they never actually stocked the 16x29mm size—they always ship the 19x26mm version, and other customers haven't complained.
It's a scandal!
Ordered scam!
Ordered 3 months go. They said it was shipped but during this 3 months asking for a tracking number there were lots of excuses and no tracking number. Asked for card charge back. They said to cancel the charge back if not they would win. This is a scam company. Fake fake fake! Be carefull! Have other 3 friends from the watch community that had the same bad experience.
I thought these guys were good until I…
I thought these guys were good until I read on a watch forum about someone buying straps from Ali express. I thought that looks like the one i paid $129AUD for from Helvetus. Thought I would buy one to compare the quality at $3.39. Imagine my surprise when firstly it came in the exact same outer packaging and when opened the exact same inner packaging. Upon opening it the straps were identical. They are not the luxury watch strap Swiss Brand they purport to be but a buyer from China who then ships from China directly to you at a markup of over 3000%. And I have now bought three straps from Helvetus and no doubt been ripped off every time.
Garbage
Garbage. Drop ship from china, quality is terrible. You have to pay return shipping.
Big scam don’t buy from this fakers.
Big scam don’t buy from this fakers.
They sell you Chinese crap.
They send constant the same robot answer that they payed the money back but that’s a big lie. Instarted investigation via IDeal and they will soon contact them.
I wish I could leave zero stars...
This is one of those reviews that starts "If I could leave a zero star review I would." I bought one of their Panerai replacements, at a not cheap £67. When it arrived it didn't fit. I had to threaten them with action under UK distance selling regulation before they agreed to a refund. I despatched the strap back to Switzerland on the 9th of June, at a cost of £10. Tracking showed it was delivered to them 3 days later. I'm writing on the 29th, having not had a refund. Upon prodding I got this response: "Thank you for your email.
Upon review, we can confirm that your returned item has been received. It appears that the refund had not yet been processed, which has now been resolved."
No apology, you note.
Substandard products, substandard customer service. Avoid like the plague.
The company has nothing to do with…
The company has nothing to do with Switzerland except its headquarters address. They sell terrible quality belts from China. Avoid them. Don't buy anything.
Old reviews not relevant - Improved customer experience
I want to lead off by saying despite past reviews, the customer service in my case was very good. The product came from Switzerland so naturally with all the tariffs etc. in place, it took about 2 weeks and I didn’t even get a tracking number until about 3/4 days before it got here but the customer service team replied quickly explaining the situation and provided tracking as soon as they could. The product itself is also very premium and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to purchase here. So great job Helvetus on putting out a premium product, and improving on previous complaints from your customers. I’d shop here again without hesitation
Zero customer service
Zero customer service.
Sold a strap that only fits another IWC watch model despite saying on their website ‘precision fit for all IWC models’. Did not offer a replacement or refund, or return. £71 wasted!
AVOID THIS COMPANY
Ordered a watch strap for my Cartier rondo. Arrived and before opening could see the poor quality and inability to fit. Returned and 7 weeks later have still not received my refund of £73 despite an email telling me the refund had been processed and it was my bank that hadn’t refunded me!
AVOID THE COMPANY
SCAM
SCAM — Fake Swiss company, Chinese rubber junk, 2-month refund nightmare
Marketed as a Swiss premium brand. Reality: cheap rubber strap shipped from China after 3-4 weeks. Returned it immediately. Then spent 2 months chasing a CHF 77.40 refund. They repeatedly "confirmed" it was processed but refused to provide any ARN or payment proof. Even threatened me not to file a chargeback. Refund only appeared after I opened a formal dispute with Revolut. Avoid completely.
