The product is really good, my family has tried few other brands but we were not very satisfied. After using this brand, my wife's hairs are now 99% covered and the color stays for long. I will recommend it to anyone looking for a nice coloring shampoo dye.
In regards to side effects- I haven't noticed any yet after using it three to four times, the other brand use to sometime irritate my forehead and keeps a color on the skin.

Shipping - my product link was not updated for few days, when I contacted their customer care, Sarah escalated and sorted the delivery.

So overall I am satisfied with the product and the customer service.

I like the ease of applying and the fact that the coverage does not leave a residue everywhere like some of the other brands that I've tried. It is also not strong in smell which is important since I have asthma. My only issue was getting the color correct . I should have gone with red the first time and not light Auburn.

I have used both Hela hair & Nova and am thoroughly impressed! I was skeptical at the start, but pleasantly surprised with the results from the first application. I have now got all my friends & fily onto this product! Great stuff!

Hela Hair (HH) where have you been hiding? I've used Nova Hair (NH) Black for 18 months post box dye, to cover greys. I found it, runny, messy, staining anything it touched within a few minutes. But the coverage was fab. 12 months in I decided black was a young woman's game & wanted a softer look. I decided to switch it out for Dark Brown. Happy to put up with the afore mentioned issues, I took the plunge & bought 3 bottles of (NH) dark brown, on the offer & went cold turkey for a month using a harsh anti dandruff shampoo to wash out the black in preparation for a new dark brown look. Nothing budged for a whole month, so if you're worried about it washing out, don't. You only ever need to do the roots after the initial application. I gave up & applied the NH Dark Brown to the now very grey roots & it went orange. Now, I'm not talking brown with a hue of copper, but Iron Bru orange!!! It was not a good look. But lucky me, I'd made my purchase using the offer to save money & had 3 bottles. At a cost of now looking like the Ready Brek Kid...glup. If you're old enough to have greys, you'll get the picture. Whilst reluctantly & regrettably trudging through 3 bottles of NH Dark Brown, I happened upon the adverts for the new & improved..& it needed it..HH, whilst considering switching brands completely. Thinking it couldn't possibly be worse, I considered the HH Brown/Black but stuck with the HH Dark Brown. The product offers the same delivery from the dispenser, but 1 of the 2 gels in the NH product was replaced with a cream substance which made the rubbed together consistency much easier to manage. It stinks mind! Think walking into the suffocating smell of popcorn at a cinema. It stains the same! This no gloves & 10 minutes on your hair is still a myth! As is any claim that you'll get more than 6 root touch ups from a bottle! Top tip, 20 to 30 minutes on dry unconditioned hair for best results & clean it off your face to optimise the none beaten around the face look. May the odds be ever in your favor.

It really does work. I hate scam products and this is not a scam. Polar hair dye does not work but this one does. I swear.

When I originally ordered this product, I mistakenly ordered the wrong color, which was black, I got a hold of the Customer sport and they remedied the issue immediately. I had been using just for men for years, but it was really irritating my scalp. That was my reason for trying this product. I would rate this very highly and recommended to friends and family..

What I like best about Nova Hair is when I’m travelling overseas I don’t have to worry about finding a hairdresser I can just shampoo my greys away.

I made my first purchase recently, delivery was well packaged and arrived quite swiftly. The colour I chose was not quite right for me but customer service were quick to respond to my concerns and communication was very helpful and friendly, they were able too find a resolution and offer a replacement colour. Absolutely Rubbish – A Warning to Others

I ordered two bottles of the Black Hair Shampoo as my hair is naturally black and I wanted to cover some grey hairs. Unfortunately, the result was the complete opposite of what I expected.
Rather than darkening my hair, the peroxide in the product lightened it, leaving my hair with noticeable ginger-brown tones. I was genuinely mortified by the outcome. In the end, I had to use a black box dye to restore my hair to its original dark colour.
Although the product is advertised as ammonia-free, it contains peroxide, which clearly had a bleaching effect on my hair. For me, this was a complete waste of £41 and both bottles have gone straight in the bin.

My experience:
● First application: left on for 10 minutes – hair developed ginger tones.
● Second application: left on for 20 minutes – even more ginger tones appeared.

I would not recommend this product to anyone with black hair looking to cover greys. The results were disappointing and completely contrary to what was advertised.

Hela hair gave me great coverage including my beard , the shade was a little darker than expected so have been offered replacements or 30% discount off of next order. Customer service was quick and responsive- will be using again !!

I ordered 2 Dark Brown bottles and one Medium Brown to see which is the best fit for my hair color. I started with medium brown which, unfortunately, did not provide full coverage. I reached out to customer service to see if it is ok to try the other shade right away or if I need to wait and Charlotte was quick to respond that it is safe to apply the dark brown immediately which I did and was very happy with the results. The dark brown provided full coverage, it was not too dark and it blended perfectly. The application was easy and the hair felt really nice and silky. I have to say though that I had to use about 7-8 pumps and not 2-3 as the instructions suggest. Overall happy with the results and customer service.

I’ve been using Nova from before it changed name to Hela. Love the new colour black/brown, it’s perfect for my hair shade. So quick and easy to apply, generally leave in for 15 minutes and then go shower. Colour lasts long too!

I have used Nova hair for years with great color result and no stains on my skin. When they changed to Hela hair, I thought it would be the same but it's not. Hela hair did not cover my greys, and got washed off on week 2 eventhough I followed the application steps. I asked for return/refund through proper channels, but it turned out I had to send back the product to the US warehouse, when it was actually initially shipped out from China. What a low strategy to discourage returns. It's clear that they want to make returns/refunds extra difficult for consumers, even when you present proof of their product not doing what it claims to do. Other companies keep their promise of product warranty, but NOT this company. Too disappointing. I do not recommend dealing with them, as they do not own up to their product's ineffectivity.

I put off coloring my hair for many years. Hela Hair changed my mind about the whole process. I grew up watching my mom go through so much trouble to dye her hair...and didn't want to do any of that. Hela Hair made it fast and easy. Customer service was very helpful when the color I selected was not working for me. They made the exchange process very easy. If you already color your hair, this is a no-brainer. If it will be your first time, you'll have a great experience!

I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy and effective way to color their gray hair at home. I will definitely purchase it again! 😊

Hele Hair shampoo in color has changed the way I color my hair forever! This is the most simple method and so effective. Covers better than the custom hair dye I used for years... specifically those little side hairs by my ears. I love the smell too... almost a dessert smell! The color is surprisingly bright...I use the auburn shade. I highly recommend this product to everyone. It makes coloring day and easy and lasts. Also my hair is softer and more manageable. I have very fine hair and it compliments it well.

Be aware do a 48 hour test it’s important. I did one and burnt my skin quite bad. Another thing you only get half your money back not a full refund, you have to pay for it to be sent back to them. For some people it works and for others it doesn’t. It’s taking me two weeks for my skin to heal.

I ordered the auburn, it turned my roots bright ginger.

I contacted customer services who sent a photo showing this hair dye did not colour any hair colour the auburn as advertised.

They also stated “ that the auburn shades can result in a ginger or bright orange tone if applied to very light hair”

But then said “ It will result in Auburn only if you have white or light brown hair. It’s a gentler formula created mainly to cover grey and white hair while being kinder to the hair.”

Either it does or dosn't but the item advertising is midleading and it’s missold. Do not buy from them. They know this colour dosnt work and now I see why there are no reviews of it on their website. I also posted a 1 star review on their website and it hasn’t appeared yet!
