I used Heymondo for a travel insurance for a holiday in Australia. The app is user friendly and the clauses included in the insurance were clear. I contacted the customer support once for help with a cancelled flight and related expenses, the team was helpful and, even if I did not need to use their support, I am happy on the service received.

4 MONTH NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE ON A CLAIM , ABSOLUTE SCAM !
Found an insurance plan pretty interesting for a nice price , read the reviews on Trustpilot and decided to try it . As I used to live in Ireland earlier I had yearly travel plans which no longer covered me as I am technically no longer an Irish resident . Heymondo was one of the first insurances for travels I decided to take as a new spanish resident .
Had a flight to Lisboa and my luggage got lost , after the search period , I have been compensated by an airline , ofc it has not covered all my loss of my items I had in my luggage . Decided to claim with heymondo . For some reason they are not processing these claims on their own , for baggage related issues they use partner called ima iberica . Which has been an ABSOLUTE DISASTER!! My flight was on 15th of March and I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN COMPENSATED, claim has been submitted months ago , after I filled it I been asked to send the paperwork again (the same one I used already to send) . Okay , I did that , maybe they lost it didn’t see I don’t know . But since then - NOT A SINGLE UPDATE , NOT A SIGNLE RESPONSE , NOTHING !! I been calling honestly more than 40 times in past 2 months , every time they keep saying they don’t have any specific timeframe and the person in charge is reviewing . MORE THAN 3 months ???? They told me first that after my response they review during 30 days , then 45 , then 60 . IS THERE ANY LIMIT ?? Insurance is absolutely ghosting me ! Not updating me , not willing to proceed with a claim !! That’s an absolute scam !! I have no idea why from all partners heymondo decided that ima iberica will be the best one when their review on Trustpilot is 1 star , but I literally have no idea who and how to push that claim further . It is stuck in limbo and nobody saying anything about it !!
If you travel a lot as me - AVOID HEYMONDO , THEY ARE INCOMPETEND IN CHOOSING OWN PARTNERS , and NOT WILLING TO PAY YOU !!

I've used it twice already and both times the service has been amazing. The first time I used the live chat with a doctor and that solved all my issues. The second time I needed and ER visit, a consult with orthopedics and an x-ray. They arranged everything for me, I just had to show up at the clinic.

Travel insurance refund
Due to the present political situation in the Middle East, we were forced to change our trip and therefore its insurance. Very simple process on the website
Very simple process on the website, packages clear and option for add ons is great. We are not travelling until August. Hopefully we won´t need to use the insurance but we´ll go with peace of mind, knowing we are fully covered should anything happen!
