Clothing arrived ok but wasn't close to fitting and had weird fabric. Contacted them to send it back and they said I'd have to pay and do the Custom's paperwork to send it back to Asia (!). Alternatively they'd refund 15% of my purchase and I could keep the (worthless to us) items. BEWARE!

The "orthopedic shoes" I ordered were basically made of cardboard with little or no support. When I tried to return them, I was told I would have to pay shipping back to China in order to return them. The other option available was to use the store credit to purchase more cheap junk. I chose the second option and received a dress that was fllimsy, made of stretch polyester rather than woven fabric as the picture had indicated. Of course, the item description did not specify the material content, so it was all a guess on my part. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CHINESE-BASED COMPANY!!!

I purchased their shoes with out checking their review and finally I got the shoes nothing look like what they advertised shoes came late of course when I emailed them I will put stopped payment and don’t ship it but they did it anyway when I got the shoes I see nothing look like what I saw it on their advertising, poor quality no name on the shoes the size not what I ordered and this supposed to be orthopedic shoes sham on them now my bank put stopped payment let them deal with my bank,😡

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered shoes and the size was way off by 2 sizes. Followed return instructions and heard nothing from them! Emailed 3x. Do not order from this company.

Overpriced garbage from China. It looks nice until you realize there is no store in Boston and that all the items are on "sale" and drop-shipped from China, not with UPS as they claim. There are a ton of these companies out there now. They create a nice AI website, get a relationship with a factory in china, advertise on Google and sit back and collect. I would not buy from them.

DON’T BUY! This is a scam poor quality, high prices, no refunds.

1st the product didn't match the description. 2nd when I contacted them for a return they only offered 15% and said no place to return in the US. I still asked for a return numerous times and they are now ghosting me. THEY ARE A RIP OFF.

10 emails and four phone calls to three different customer service numbers with no response to try and return a pair of shoes that are too small. These people are a scam. Terrible products, no customer service and fake phone numbers and addresses. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I ordered five items for my wife and believed the company "Harper & Wells Boston" was a domestic company but it appears to be a China based ecommerce company. From order to receipt it took 2 weeks with non-specific shipping updates. Scanning the shipping label under the top shipping label AI said the package came from China.
Products received did not accurately reflect what was shown on the website when odered.
My Issues:
-Quality of Product
-Shipping Communication/delays
-Misrepresentation of Company location/origin
-Awaiting Return of Product procedures and costs

The clothing runs small. It’s all from china and not as advertised. The. When you try to return the item. They give you the run around. Don’t waste your money!

I went online to find nice upscale men's swimwear for my husband. I came across Harper and Wells and thought, " Wow, perfect! Plus, they are on sale too!! I went and got my credit card to pay, and something strongly told me to check the reviews!!!.. So glad I did!!! I am giving them a ONE based on what I read!! Now I am even saving more!!

This is a scam. The quality of the clothing is very poor. Asked for a return and was offered 10% to keep product. I kept insisting on a refund only to find out I would have to pay $30 to ship jacket back to China. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!

Customer service is outstanding !! Resolved an issue I had. With tracking info because I typed in incorrect email.
They helped me and gave me such great support .

My daughter ordered a pair of shoes before she went abroad, and when they arrived here I shipped them to her unopened, and when she received them they were not what she ordered, they were black size (36) or size (6) when she ordered size (5) gray in color...I called them and explained what had transpired and told them they are not what she ordered color wise and size... They asked me to take pictures of the shoes and size which I did but for them to be new there was no sign of the size of the shoe in the inside of the shoes and I'm thinking they are not new and they told me they will do an investigation as to what happened 30+ days ago and I haven't heard anything from them..I followed up 1 Nov wanting to know what happened and what are you doing about it, and thus far no response back...Had I know they were not who they said they were I would have never let her order from them... It's sad we have business like this still still doing business without being held accountable... Please folk's be aware and look before you cross that path...

Product was terrible. Return was impossible. I was ripped off. This company should not be in business,

I ordered a dress and a couple pair of loafers. The dress arrived without any labels, made of extremely cheap, stiff material, and has no buttons to keep the wrap dress in place. I don’t even know how it’s supposed to be kept in place. The loafers were advertised as orthopedic, but they are cheap and stiff. I should have researched this company before purchasing online. Whatever you do, DO NOT give this company your business!! You will be extremely disappointed.

If there was a zero-star option, I'd choose it. I should have looked up the reviews before I ordered, which is what I hope you are doing. Do not order from this scam of a company. There are no easy returns or cash-back guarantee as advertised, and I guarantee that if you order from here, you will want to return what you receive. Find something elsewhere!!!

One star is too many for this scam company! The label says Harper & Wells - Boston, but when they finally told me to return the item it was to an address in Zhiziang Provence, CHINA! The sweater was such poor quality and doesn't look at all like the picture. Do not buy anything from them.

Just an update, they have reached back out and agreed to send me the new size free of charge.
