I didn’t know about HomeDeal at first, so when our CV-ketel suddenly broke down, I started contacting installation companies myself. After that, I discovered HomeDeal, filled in the form on the website and quickly started receiving offers from different companies providing this service.
It made the whole process much easier. Instead of searching for installers one by one, I could compare several offers, prices and options and choose the one that suited us best.
This was especially helpful because we needed a new CV-ketel urgently. In the end, we found a very good installer through HomeDeal, received a competitive offer, and our new boiler was installed very quickly.
A convenient and useful service, especially when you need to find and compare reliable companies without spending a lot of time searching yourself.

We had our entire house plastered, painted, bathroom renovated and made the attic a room with an additional wall. Yadigar advised we needed an electrician and recommended one. Had the entire house rewired which we are vey happy. He had gone the extra mile and also done some extra stuff for free. If he couldnt do something, he would recommend other people to help. Very happy with the workmanship, quality, service delivery, customer service, beautiful bathroom and beautiful house. Highly recommended, great price, very friendly team and always looking for the best customer delivery. Thank you so much. We love our new house!

HOMEDEAL is a pure scam for ZZP (self-employed) services. I purchased more than ten services, but I didn't receive any meaningful responses—only one greeting. The contacts seem fake, and it feels like they only want to lead you into making payments. In my opinion, this is one of the biggest scams for ZZP services in 2026. I lost 157 EUR

I urgently needed my walls painted, and found a person to do the job through Homedeal. In the end, he didn't do everything we discussed, so we agreed that he would pay me back for the work he didn't do. Unfortunately, it's been one month now and this person is refusing to communicate with me or pay back the amount. Homedeal refused any responsibility and didn't offer much support. I encourage anyone to look elsewhere, as this website doesn't offer reliable and serious specialists. Never again.

I was looking for the services of a plumber on this website. Quickly got an offer, asked about pricing and they were being very vague and not transparant about how much a small plumbing job would cost. I was naive and asked them regardless to come sort out the job. Plumber did three hours of work at most, and wanted 980 euros. Lots of hidden fees: ‘diagnosis fee’. They also crazy over charged for the materials... I’ve never had to pay a plumber this much. I advise against using this website.

A terrifying experience. After I inquired about toilet renovation, on the same day a guy called me multiple times and told me that he was already 20 minutes, away from my house without even confirming if I was home or not, next day he called me again and really insisting on coming to my house, and I ask him if I can call him back again Monday to set up an appointment, but instead He went to my house together with 2 other guys on Monday without an appointment and my husband saw them peeking at our door. My husband told them I'm not home and we don't have an appointment with them yet. Since they were already at our place, my husband showed them the toilet, and they quoted us 4,000 euros. And then my husband told them that he would talk to me first, and then they started asking him for 160 euros. And they became so aggressive and even took pictures of the plate number of our car and really stayed at our place for one hour asking for the money. They even demanded my husband to go to the bank to widraw money, mind you, they are inside of my house and they're voice are rising and really forcing my husband to pay them, and afterwards, they told my husband that they're gonna call the police, when my husband agreed to call the police, they didn't call after all.. this is unacceptable, i might willing to pay if i confirmed my appointment with them. but the aggression and going to my house without appointment and peeking at the door is not normal, please please be careful on signing up.

Dear sir or madam,
After posting a request for floor sound isolation, I was contacted by
Yena klussenbedrijf +31 6 25307116 by WhatsApp, they also annoyingly called me multiple times.

Finally, we made an appointment for the evaluation of the work, but at the time of appointment nobody showed up. Though I have received a WhatsApp message, saying if I want them to visit for evaluation, it costs 100 euro. And they also want me to agree that I will hire them BEFORE we even met, discussed works, prices, materials, time schedule etc.

Be carefull they are scammers, they do what they want.

I liked how quickly I was brought in contact with professionals for the work I wanted to assign. They reached out very quickly. I was expecting more professionals reaching out and not just 3 in order to allow for comparison on the price and the service offered. I also appreciated the follow up from Homedeal on the status of the project and the service received. Will use them again.

Trades men stay away you could spend a fortune only for customers not reply to you and even if they do its was just looking for a rough idea .12 to 17 per quote plus 40 euro a monthly.homedeal just make the money waste of time and energy

SCAM ALERT SCAM WEBSITE
Homedeal is a scam website as far as tradesmen are concerned. They have no vetting process for customers so in effect homedeal charge you to get details of jobs customers have zero intent on having done. ie looking for a price to replace a bathroom suite .. homedeal charge you €12-15 to send your quote then customers send messages back sayin thanks maybe in the future when weve saved up we might get it done. So youve been charged €15 to give a free quote. Its a decent idea but they need to charge clients deposits to vet the time waster. I went to a job where it transpired 2 other tradesmen had been before and told client what they wanted wasnt possible but the client kept going back getting new people out. So waste of €12 getting client info and providing quote then waste of time and diesel going to job. Told homedeal and they just say not their problem. AVOID SCAM SCAM

Be careful about any middlemen like this scam, they will Literally send any one without any checks or references to Yours house, as no half decent tradesman will use such a service. You will end up with criminals/ unvetted not qualified people accessing Yours property

Homedeal.ie is a group based in Netherlands, not Ireland. I requested a carpenter and was contacted by 'SM Carpentry' through Homedeal.ie, unfortunately I paid up front for this service, it's a scam, avoid at all cost!
