Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 35 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many consumers reported unexpected subscription costs and felt extremely frustrated by recurring fees required to access basic features on their camera devices. Others experienced technical malfunctions, such as hardware suddenly stopping working, connection issues, or failing to dispense treats properly, alongside unhelpful customer support responses. Some reviewers were happy with the device, noting it provides great peace of mind and helpful alerts for keeping an eye on pets while away. People also appreciated the treat dispenser function, straightforward setup process, and how reassuring it is to watch their animals relax throughout the day.

AWFUL. Do not buy. I purchased a furbo in July 25 and had a free trial for furbo nanny. Absolutely loved it and didn’t know how I had ever lived without it. Would have paid for a subscription without... See more

Rubbish product

Rubbish product! DO NOT BUY! it worked great for the first week but since then has barely shared anything with me about the welfare of my pet while I'm out of the house. Ontop of th cost of the camera a minimum 3 month subscription has set me back nearly £100. Tech support seems to be people sitting at home making suggestions from a cheat sheet, offering nothing useful just to "monitor the situation for 24 hours" I feel like I'm being taken for a ride. They don't give rats a** about the customers. When asking for a refund, i was told to contact the ship I bought it from with 30 days.

Don’t buy one! No customer service

The product stopped working. I tried hard reboot and every other online suggestion. Furbo doesn’t have a customer support service number, only an AI chatbot. When I tried that it simply asked over and over which product I was using but gave me no information or help. I threw it away and am buying a pet camera from a more reputable company

Absolutely horrendous

Absolutely horrendous, do not go anywhere near this company. Despite me saying previously I did not want to use this service any longer they have without my knowledge or authorisation taken £76.71 out of my account. I'm absolutely furious. There are no telephone contact numbers for Furbo just email. Avoid avoid avoid like the plague! Scam company beware

Great product and customer service

The set up process was easy and straight forward. We got a furbo mini 360 and furbo mini for our dog who started having seizures, and found it very helpful to have the alerts and monitor her behaviour when out of the house. Sadly she passed away within a few weeks due to a brain tumour. Having the videos is bittersweet but help us get the feeling of what it was like to have her around. The customer service was incredible and very helpful when I informed them of our dog’s passing, I was able to speak to Charlotte via the live chat. I would really recommend.

I just went to purchase the furbo nanny…

I just went to purchase the furbo nanny subscription as there was a 50% off deal - then I find out that they charge you extra for each camera you have. so because I PURCHASED three cameras I have to pay an additional $60 per year on top of the already annoying subscription fee. These new business models really just want to squeeze every cent from us.

The other thing I find unethical - the fire alarm / smoke alarm detection feature requires a Furbo Nanny subscription. The other advanced features can be locked behind a subscription, but turning off emergency features except to those who can afford it seems gross.

Missed a huge medical emergency

For the first two months, the only thing I found irritating was the amount of time it asked if (the same) humans were indeed in the video. Eventually I just stopped verifying. Then, it stopped recording for 3 hours and missed a full seizure and massive vomiting episode- which we did not become aware of until we returned home 7 hours later and had to rush the dog to an emergency vet. When I went on their chat, it was a copy paste answer that said there was nothing they could do about lost footage and zero explanation of why, and to lower our standards. It then explained it can only backdate 15 seconds after motion is detected, except it didnt record the motion at all. Then it had another lapse in the same week, 3+ hours while we were all in the living room- then skips ahead to the night vision of just my dog standing on the couch. The chat asked for screenshots of the live camera, which I sent at 8am when they opened, and then they said the skip was because the light was dim and the dogs blanded in. I said the skip wasnt right now, it was last evening with lights on and skipped to a fully viewable night vision of my black dog on the same couch. So that explanation didnt work. They asked if I could move the camera, but I explained there was no where on that wall to move it to, and anywhere else would take me out of view of the dogs, one of which is still being monitored due to the seizure and I couldnt risk that. So they sent me instructions on how to submit videos and ended the chat, before I could even verify I uploaded the videos (which I did immediately after the instructions were sent). When I messaged in the chat that they were uploaded, I was SPAMMED with no less than 20 random chat-bot responses with random articles not related. And no amount of me saying "stop, unrelated articles" could stop the spam onslaught. Now I have no idea if they are going to review the videos, or how to expect contact, or anything, because they closed the chat. I have a subscription and will have to ride it out, but dont think this system is going to be able to monitor the whole time and dont assume they care when it doesnt.

Furbo alerted us before disaster!

Furbo has changed our household. We have 6 cats and 4 dogs. Furbo alerts us for everything! The subscription is 100% worth it. We recently had gone out of town (animals being boarded) and Furbo had given me an alert that an alarm was going off. We opened the app to hear our fire alarms blasting and our oven glowing red. We had a freak accident- a big storm went though and caused a power surge and with that the oven put itself in self cleaning mode. Without Furbo, we would have never known. From animal safety to general home care, furbo is worth it. Furbo will alert us with alarm noises, the sound of glass breaking, animal zoomies, animal bathroom accidents and so much more. We will keep Furbo as a part of our family now. 10/10 recommend!

Do not prebuy the lifetime subscription, they lie

We purchased the pet camera with the lifetime subscription. Our bundle was 184$ instead of the 48$ option where you still pay the subscription.
The company did not include what they sold us and refuse to fix it. We still have to subscribe to use the listed features. We spent an extra $136 for literally NO BENEFIT, and they robbed us.

Furbo camera review

One of the best cameras out there, we find it so helpful and gives us a piece of mind when we are away from home just to keep an eye on our furbaby

It’s just so nice to know were ever you…

It’s just so nice to know were ever you go you can keep your eyes on your pet and she just loves the treats It’s one of the best things I’ve purchased for my little one plus the fact it’s good to know I can speak to her if ever I go out which is a added bonus

Well worth the money!!

I dont know what we would do without our Furbos! I was reluctant to buy one as they were quite a bit more expensive than the others we were looking at but I am SO pleased we did and now we have three!!! They are so incredibly worth it. I have dogs with anxiety and I have just lost my little one who I was nursing through a brain tumour. The Furbo quite literally gave us peace of mind and support through everything. It notified me if she had a seizure etc and I was in the other room. It has also let me know that a glass was smashed in the same room as my little one, so I could go and clear it and make it safe. Please do not be put off by the price, once you see what it does you will realise that it is actually good value for money!

My old Furbo would not connect to WiFi

My old Furbo would not connect to WiFi. Thoroughly investigated using technical support. Although my device was out of warranty I was given a discount on a replacement which arrived promptly. The original device was 5 years old so very satisfied with the service I received.
