I’ve purchased approximately ~300 separate orders through using FROM JAPAN’s service. As someone that’s been using proxy services for over 5 years,
I’m very pleased with their services.

Quick list of things I like:

- Quick shipping consolidation timing
- Responsive and Helpful Customer Service
- Plenty of discounts and coupons available for the sites I use (mainly Mercari, and Yahoo Auctions)
- Ability to actively shipping prices while deciding what items to consolidate. As I’ll have multiple items available to ship out, this saves me money knowing what’s the max I can ship within one box at a certain size. I’ll have some excess space at times with incoming packages, but also I’d much prefer having this system instead of having to wait days for a live agent to attempt to pack up an order for me. Also, at the end of the day they’re shipping items internationally I’d rather my items arrive safely than squished together.

I don’t plan on changing what proxy service I use for the foreseeable future.

Extremely high quality proxy shipping service from japan that combines many japanese auction and second hand websites for those living elsewhere. I've had zero issues ever using this service for around a year with constant sales and good customer service.

I've been using another Japanese proxy service for years, but this time they couldn't help me win a very rare item on Yahoo Auctions. I decided to try FromJapan instead, and I'm really glad I did. They successfully secured the item, and the whole process was smooth and hassle-free. If you're looking for rare collectibles or hard-to-find items, I can definitely recommend giving FromJapan a try.

As someone who has been using this service for 6 years, I have noticed international shipping prices getting extremely high. I know that with tariffs and other problems arising its natural things get more expensive, but I just paid the same exact shipping cost for two separate orders: one being a 15-item order (including posters, books, plush, etc) and the other is 1 order that contained 2 dolls (vinyl, so not fragile at all) and a small monchhichi. In what world does 2 dolls and a monkey plush cost me $160 to ship--$140 USD if I DONT include the tariff--which was the same shipping price of a 15 item order I made 3 months earlier. The egregious pricing really steers me away from wanting to use this service in the future.
HOWEVER, customer service was very friendly. Despite telling me that they try to fit it into the smallest box possible, she then went above and beyond and contacted the warehouse to see if they could fit my items in a smaller box for cheaper shipping. Unfortunately, even after all the struggle, only 10 dollars were shaved off of my expenses. I'll take what I can get though, so I am extremely grateful that this service heard my complaints and attempted to fix the problem. Despite customer service being friendly and helpful, I can't promise that I'll be buying off of this site anytime soon due to the extremely insane international shipping prices.

I have never had any problem with their service and I always received fast answers when I asked for assistance.

FJ is a great ‘middle man’ to give you access to to the Japanese/Asian market. Very reasonable fees, great shipping, excellent customer service and a good website ( could be better but they are improving all the time). So all in all, highly recommended!

FromJapan séquestre ma commande depuis que j'ai ouvert un litige Paypal à leur encontre pour une commande précédente. J'ai pourtant fermé les litiges en question en pensant que la communication reprendrait normalement.

Je ne sais pas ce qu'il va advenir des commandes arrivées à leur entrepôt, et qu'ils refusent de m'envoyer. Il en est de même pour les commandes déjà payées et pas encore arrivées à leur entrepôt.

Le service client me balade de mail en mail et me gronde littéralement lorsque j'ose les relancer...

Un coup "ne nous écrivez plus", "patientez quelques jours", un coup "patientez d'ici la semaine prochaine", un coup "le service dédié est parti en vacances".

Je ne sais plus quoi faire.

FromJapan has been holding my orders ever since I opened a PayPal dispute against them over a previous order. I have since closed those disputes, believing that communication would return to normal.

I now have no idea what is going to happen to the orders that have already arrived at their warehouse, as they are refusing to ship them to me. The same applies to orders I have already paid for but which have not yet reached their warehouse.

Customer service keeps giving me the runaround from one email to the next, and they practically scold me whenever I dare to follow up.

One minute it is, “Please stop contacting us.” Then it is, “Please wait a few days.” Then, “Wait until next week.” And now I am being told that the department in charge has gone on holiday.

At this point, I honestly do not know what else to do.

I ship many packages from Japan to WW - by many I mean over 10+ per month! Here I want to show my appreciation to the One Map Customer Services Team which is best +++++ when asked to help either before Order placement, during, or after Order arrives in the warehouse in Tokyo. As a general comment - OneMap is in many ways better than Buyee with key points being 1. CS Team interaction and help, 2. Better prices for DHL and 3. Better/safer packaging for delicate items. Here Buyee is absolutely nonsensical when it comes to A. packing delicate items in soft paper bags (unless paid for overpacking that cost even more to ship) and B. CS team answers that are for different questions than the one asked ... Maybe AI is misfiring !?!

I've been a customer for years. I appreciate the access to items, ease of use, simple fee structure, customer service, and packing and shipping. Usually items arrive just fine, but this year, one item arrived damaged, and it was a significant enough purchase for me to file my first insurance claim! I was worried because sometimes insurance filings in general can be tough. The One Map/From Japan team walked me through the process and answered my questions. While it took 6 months (!!!) to process my claim (the item arrived damaged in January 2026, and my refund was processed in July 2026), I'm grateful that it all got completed properly, and am grateful for the team's support through the whole process! I learned that you must be patient, but the team will come through for you. Thank you!

I was amazed by Erika and Yuki's quick help with an issue regarding delayed shipments to warehouse. Erika & Yuki had respectively contacted sellers and got back to me immediately with definite answers to my questions. Thanks to both Erika & Yuki's great assistance with the matter! They are truly being professional, really appreciate their time ans efforts in helping me out!

I'm not usually one to write reviews.
I am writing this review after FedEx lost my package worth approximately $900 and after three weeks and useless correspondence... I only had to contact the support team and within three days the package was at my home.
Delivery is always among the most affordable. Speed: 2-3 days (Japan-US).
Product quality is excellent.
Prices are 1.5-3 times better, even taking into account commissions and fees.
This market is unique.
The service is extremely responsible.

From Japan is one of the better proxy services. I have had maybe 40 packages shipped with them over the last year and they have been extremely accommodating. When any shipment issues have occurred, their customer service was excellent. They are also one of the few proxy services that can make instant mercari purchases while other proxy services take hours or even days.

I've been a loyal customer since 2021, and I have always been provided with amazing service. All the goods arrive safely and as described. Never had an issue while proxy shopping here, and if I had an issue with a seller, it was resolved quickly. The customer service is patient and helpful anytime I needed it.
