Great experience with Flooring Supplies all round. Our bathroom fitter recommended them to us and we were really pleased with the selection of flooring on offer. Would give zero stars if I could
Would give zero stars if I could. Ordered a sample which came within 2 days. Then as we were matching to an existing floor we ordered one box which came on the date we selected. Had contacted customer service with a product query and received a quick response. All seemed good customer service so we ordered all the floor we needed- 8 boxes of LVT. We selected a delivery date which was a few weeks ahead due to us being on holiday.
Delivery day arrived- advertised when ordering it would arrive between 8am and 6pm with a 2 hour slot to be provided on the day. 2.30pm had heard nothing so emailed customer services to be told would arrive between 3pm and 5pm. At 4.40pm received a text from the delivery company stating would arrive between 4.26pm and 6.26pm. I cancelled my 6.30pm plans to wait in after already waiting in all day only for the delivery to not arrive. When I checked tracking it stated that at 5.07pm it had been taken off the truck and put back in the depot. I received no communication or apologies for this. The delivery did eventually arrive a day late. I had taken a days annual leave from work for the original delivery and waited in all day and had to cancel meetings and work at home the second day. The delivery was booked well in advance and from tracking I could see it was in the local depot the day before original delivery date so there is no excuses for it not arriving on the expected date. The communication throughout was horrific and no apology has been received. By these reviews it seems to be a common theme. Avoid this company at all costs.

1 Star — Product bears little resemblance to the advertised image
I’m extremely disappointed with FlooringSupplies.com.
I ordered 13 boxes of flooring based on the product advertised on their website, only to receive a product that looks nothing like the advertised image. The difference isn’t some minor variation in lighting or batch — the colour and overall appearance are substantially different. The website showed what was described as an oak finish; what I received is visibly grey and simply does not resemble what I reasonably expected to receive from the listing.
What makes this worse is the response from FlooringSupplies.com. Rather than properly considering whether the product supplied is a fair match for what they advertised, they have essentially refused to engage with the issue and are expecting me to spend my own time and money returning 13 boxes, including fronting the delivery costs, despite the dispute being about the accuracy of their product listing.
I shouldn’t have to pay out of pocket and rearrange my time to return a product that I purchased based on an advertisement that, in my view, is clearly misleading.
I would expect a retailer to look at the actual product alongside the image they advertised and at least acknowledge that there is a legitimate discrepancy. Instead, I’ve been left feeling that their priority is avoiding responsibility rather than resolving the problem fairly.
13 boxes of flooring is not a small purchase, and this is not a small discrepancy.
Very poor customer service, very poor handling of a legitimate complaint, and a very disappointing experience from start to finish.
I would strongly recommend taking screenshots of the advertised product before ordering from this company. Based on my experience, if what arrives looks completely different, don’t expect them to make resolving it easy.
since the companies response to this review I have had no further response from them, which proves its nothing more than AI templated responses and there is no "actual" review of my case or robust actions being taken.
