We have had a great experience of Flooring Superstore. They have kept us well informed of the process and timings in the run up to fitting the floor and we didn't have to wait long for the floor to be fitted. The floors look great and the fitter has done a beautiful job.

We’ve had excellent customer service from the outset at the Carlisle branch. The staff played with our children whilst we viewed different products. The manager Jen and her team took the time to explain the benefits of different flooring types, and when we wanted to make a change very late in the day, Jen was really accommodating and bent over backwards to help us. I’ll definitely be back in future!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolute Nightmare From Start to Finish

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this company has been so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others.

From the moment I placed my order, I was repeatedly given delivery and installation dates that were never honoured. The branch manager continually provided what turned out to be false promises and unrealistic dates, leaving me rearranging my schedule over and over again with nothing to show for it.

The delays caused significant disruption to my family life. I had planned family visits which I was forced to cancel because I was repeatedly assured that the carpet would be delivered and fitted on the dates provided. To make matters worse, I had already damaged my old carpet with paint, believing it would be replaced within the promised timeframe. Instead, I was left living with a ruined carpet for weeks because of this company's inability to deliver on its commitments.

When the carpet finally arrived, the situation became even worse. The delivery team did not bring the full order, meaning the installation had to be completed in stages. I have never experienced such poor planning and lack of coordination from a company claiming to provide a professional service.

The quality of the product has also been extremely disappointing. The underlay supplied feels cheap and poor quality, nowhere near the standard I expected when placing the order. After all the delays and inconvenience, receiving a product that falls below expectations was the final insult.

What frustrates me most is the complete lack of ownership and accountability. At no point did anyone proactively communicate, apologise properly, or take responsibility for the repeated failures. I was left chasing updates while being fed excuse after excuse.

In summary:

Repeated missed delivery and fitting dates.
Misleading information provided throughout.
Family plans ruined and personal commitments cancelled.
Incomplete delivery resulting in installation being done in parts.
Poor quality underlay and disappointing finish.
Terrible customer service and lack of accountability.

This has been one of the worst customer experiences I have ever encountered. I spent a considerable amount of money expecting a professional service and received the exact opposite.

I would not recommend this company to anyone unless they dramatically improve their customer service, communication, logistics, and product quality.

Extremely disappointed and still awaiting appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, stress, and disruption caused.

Adam was so helpful, professional and so accommodating. I would highly recommend this store, everything is laid out well so you can see all the options. Amazing products with even better customer service.

We had fantastic service, advice and support from Jordan in the Teesside store on Portrack Lane. He guided us through the whole process, offered advice and also allowed us to slightly over order (because we were fitting ourselves as first timers) and return any fully unused/sealed packs. Thank you Jordan, we couldn’t have had a better service!

It was great to be able to walk into a store, the Glasgow store, with so many different options, and such friendly staff.
Staff weren’t pushy, and let me go away with a quote and some options to think about,
Collection was simple and Peter and Jon could not have been any more helpful.

We should have taken a hint when we ordered a sample which never came.

We were refurbishing our lounge with a repaint, new carpet and a big L-shaped sofa.
We ordered the carpet from Flooring Superstore because it was a better price than other places.
We needed the carpet to turn up on time, to come after our repaint but before the sofa.
However, the carpet did not turn up on the day it was due.
We called the store who told us that our roll of carpet had gone missing.
They told us that as it got lost somewhere in delivery they've already made a fresh order that would arrive in 2 more weeks.
This caused a lot of upheaval because we had no usable lounge. The big L-shaped sofa turned up on time to a carpet-less lounge.
You can probably guess what happened on the second planned delivery date. The carpet didn't turn up. The roll had gone missing again!
The store had no idea what was going on and couldn't track it down.
After 7 weeks and 2 failed deliveries and no carpet we got a refund and went elsewhere.

I dont think I've ever had such a difficult experience, as I have had with Flooring Superstore. Late deliveries, wrong items delivered, then the items ordered were discontinued. Issues with collection, issues with refunding, so many phone calls and emails tyring to sort out. Incredibly frustrating. Having said that, Catherine came to my rescue, she was amazing, she was clear, concise, understanding and very professional, she sorted the proplem promptly, Catherine was a pleasure to deal with.

@FSuperstoreUK returned unused laminate flooring to store to be informed only due 50% refund of original price ( bought 4 days previous) store policy NOT shared at time of purchase! Please bear this in mind when considering this company.

Unfortunately I have had a poor experience so far. I ordered my carpet (only 1 room 4×3) Had the fitter out to check as well. I have been waiting for 3 weeks and have had no contact around when/ if the carpet has arrived. I have contacted the store and I was only told they were waiting for the fitter to send the measurements, to which the fitter sent me evidence they had already sent it across 3 days prior.
I was hoping I would have had plenty of time to get the carpet in so I could complete the room and move on to the next and in time for a guest staying, unfortunately due to lack of urgency and contact I'm now stumped.
I was hoping to complete my other rooms flooring with FlooringSuperstore but after this experience I will be looking elsewhere to complete.
