I've had a genuinely frustrating experience with Foxy Locks from start to finish.

I first reached out asking for a color swatch so I could match my hair accurately before buying extensions. I was told swatches were out of stock, then never heard back on the color recommendation I'd submitted with photos. When I tried to place an order, I ran into a currency glitch that forced me to check out in GBP instead of USD, and I was assured this would be fine. After placing that order, I was told it might need to be canceled because of the currency issue, so I requested a refund to reorder correctly. That refund came back short, with the difference blamed on "exchange rate fluctuations."

When my actual extensions arrived, they took well over a month, far past the 1 to 3 week window I was originally quoted, and I had to chase multiple times just to get a status update, including waiting through long, vague live chat queues.

The color ended up being wrong, so I initiated a return. I was never clearly told upfront that returning would cost me: $35 out of pocket for return shipping, plus deductions for the original outbound shipping, import duties, and a "complimentary" gold comb I hadn't opened or wanted deducted for. All told, I lost close to $100 across the two transactions in fees and non refundable charges that were never made clear at the point of sale.

When I asked to escalate, I was told the person responding was already the Customer Care Manager and that the decision was final, with no real path to resolution beyond a repeated recitation of policy.
If you're in the US considering ordering from Foxy Locks: get clarity in writing on currency, duties, and return deductions before you buy.

My experience was a lot of runaround, unclear costs, and a company that leans on "it's on our website" rather than actually working with customers when something goes wrong.

I contacted Foxy Locks through whatsapp not really thinking I'd get much of an answer maybe a bot like most places but there was a lovely girl who was able to colour match me perfectly, and when I informed her I placed an order to IRL, she asked for tracking to ensure that my package got out ASAP on time for my photoshoot. This kind of customer service is a dream! Super happy with the hair, super happy with staff, thanks so much for everything!

I’ve been a customer for 10 years. I buy ever 6-12 months. I bought a set about 8 months ago and decided to get a “20 one too recently. Not even a month has passed the hair is extremely matted. It doesn’t matter what I do even with hair oil and mask. The hair keeps getting super tangly and I have given up. The previous pair I bought looks better than the new one. It’s time to find a new hair ext supplier. Sorry Foxylocks you really let me down. £160 wasted!!!

I would say for the price 2 and a half stars. Its lovely hair at first but does not come across as remy human hair after being washed. I was expecting it to dry nice after a good hair mask but this was not the case. I will be going back to additional lengths after these and I cant see these lasting too long.

I ordered the color Cocoa, but it looks nothing like the color shown in the pictures. It is much too dark and completely different from what was advertised. The product images are misleading and cannot be relied upon. I am very disappointed and will never order from here again.

Paid for seamless clips in in shade cinnamon ginger, have used extensions for years and these are by far the worst quality I’ve ever used. Loads of black hair mixed in, the hair matts terrible, definitely don’t think these are 100% human remy they seem like a synthetic mix, expect better from a professional hair company

I ordered a full head of hair, the colour was completely different as advertised and the hair was shockingly thin. Especially for a double wefted full head. I returned my order over 3 weeks ago, i have still not received a refund but instead been sent an email invoice where they have taken £10 off my refund for no reason at all? I have emailed again as the refund has still not been processed. Please don’t waste your time. Shocking

The best clip ins, the hair is incredible quality and lasts a year. The seamless tracking makes them sit perfectly on your head. I get so many compliments on my hair and I also love their haircare range.

I have fine, thin hair so curls usually hold really well, but not with the wand I purchased from foxy lock. This was the response which unfortunately offered absolutely no help at all, stuck with a product that dosen't work now "Unfortunately we don't know why the curls won't be holding for you, especially with using these products and techniques. This isn't a fault with the curling wand and as we aren't professionals we can't recommend other options for you to try. I am sorry we couldn't be of more help on this occasion.

Awful customer service and awful hair. Would not recommend. ordered blonde clip ins and 1-2weeks after I had they they were frizzy and dry so i contacted the retailer to ask why because they had barely been worn. They advised me to wash them and put a hair mask on them. I tried this but still the hair continued to get worst and it became discoloured and dry depsite only wahsing once and only heat styling twice since having them! I then emailed again saying they ahd deterioted more and they said my case had been closed and they couldnt do anything. Meanwhile i had provided proof of all the issues.

Customer support 5 stars!! They were very helpful and I couldn’t recommend them enough.

I had issues with my extensions being on a pre order. I contacted the customer service team through the foxy locks WhatsApp and they were amazing! They got me the same shade in a different length and after explaining I was due to go on holiday in 2 days, shipped it that day so that they arrived the next morning. Thank you so much ☺️

I've been buying extensions from Foxy Locks for 16 years nothing but quality hair, and this ponytail was fantastic! It's so full and soft. Wore it last week at my sister's wedding. 🤍

I used to order from Foxylocks a lot over the years and the colour and service has always been spot on.
A few months ago though, I ordered my usual silver fox extensions and when they arrived, they were yellow and not silver fox at all. They were quite thin and shiny aswell.. I’d already read a few reviews with people saying the same thing but I assumed it was a mistake. It seems like they’ve changed the colour though..

I tried to order some more in 20”and with more hair, and was told afterwards that they were pre order and it can take up to 6 weeks for delivery. That was fine with me so I waited and the 6 weeks passed. I contacted them around 8 weeks and got told they are coming into stock in another week or so. That time passed and so I contacted the again to get told the same thing - another 2 weeks. It’s now been almost 3 months and they’ve stopped replying to my requests for a refund. Really disappointing as this company used to be so good and the hair was lovely too

I’ve opened a case with paypal so hopefully will get my money back soon

I am in absolutely love with my hair.
I got cancer and lost lots of my hair. Have had bonds and wefts (spending a fortune) and nothing had compared to this hair.

The feeling is amazing, the length is perfect and I feel amazing. My son said you couldn't tell the difference in my own hair (of what's left underneath) to this.

The most amazing product ever. I highly recommend. The quality is absolutely perfect I couldn’t fault it. Well worth the money. The hair quality is so soft and beautiful and silky. The wefts are extremely comfortable to wear. The colour match is insane!
