Darlings Of Chelsea Ash Vale Excellent Service
Darlings Of Chelsea Ash Vale Showroom was well laid out and allowed a relaxed viewing and sampling of all sofas. Staff were available and attentive when needed with a simple purchasing experience. Information relating to the purchase was clear and thorough with the delivery as ordered and within the expected date. Damaged sofa feet were replaced within days with no fuss. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful.

Please don’t waste your money, so uncomfortable
Please don’t waste your money.
We have the most unusable and uncomfortable sofa ever known to man.
Been trying to resolve for almost 6 months!
After a lengthy search we found the most beautiful and comfortable sofa in the Darlings showroom.
It was delivered on time but was so uncomfortable and the cushions were ill fitting.
Long story short: we were told they’d send a technician to examine…they didn’t.
They remade the base cushions for us but we had to do all the measurements and endless photos.
informed a technician would deliver and fit…they didn’t …cushions arrived by 2nd class post and were left on the doorstep!
Better fit but like sitting on concrete 😡
Eventually they paid for our upholsterer to remake the filling.
Better cushions now but it is still singularly the most uncomfortable sofa and we need rid of it.
Shocking how wonderful the one in the showroom was (and we’ve been back to check again) and the actual product we have.

Been looking for a settee for many years. At last we found it at Darlings. Right fabric, right design. Had it shipped to our home which is offshore. The whole experience has been top class. Cannot fault darlimgs at all. Staff allvery helpful.

Excellent sofa, disappointing buying experience
I’m very happy with my new sofa and the quality of the product, but unfortunately the purchasing experience at the Parsons Green site was rather disappointing, particularly for what is a high-value purchase.
When I visited the showroom, I had already thoroughly researched the sofa I wanted and knew exactly what I was looking for. I therefore expected the experience to be relatively straightforward. However, when I arrived, I wasn’t acknowledged and walked around the showroom several times before anyone came over to speak to me. There were several members of staff sitting at their desks chatting amongst themselves, which I found quite disappointing.
The young lady who eventually assisted me was pleasant and helpful, and I was told that I would receive a drawing/mock-up of the sofa that evening, showing the configuration I had chosen in the leather I had selected. Unfortunately, this was never sent to me.
Despite this, I decided to go ahead with the purchase because I was confident that I had chosen the right sofa. It was delivered today and I’m pleased to say that I’m very happy with it. The delivery team were excellent, polite, friendly and extremely careful in my home.
So, while I’m very pleased with the sofa itself, I do feel the showroom experience could have been considerably better. When someone is purchasing an expensive piece of furniture and has already done their research and is ready to buy, I would expect them to feel welcomed, valued and properly looked after. Sadly, that wasn’t my experience.

Outstanding Customer Service
We initially purchased our sofa from Darlings (Surrey) showroom, which was a positive experience.
However, after taking delivery we quickly found the cushion fillings appeared not to be as we remembered and which had influenced our choice. Since contacting customer service we can only say that as a team their response has been exemplary, with prompt and regular communication at every stage. Harriet in particular has
been amazing, always following up progress and liaising between the technical team and ourselves to ensure we
would be fully satisfied with our new sofa.
As a result of our experience, we are poised to purchase a further sofa from the company.
