Agressive selling - possibly fake reviews
I found this insurance company while looking at reviews of another company, here on trustpilot. Because of the good reviews, I decided to check it out.
They ask for your email address and telephone number in order to give you a quote, which I did not like, but went ahead and provided them nevertheless.
Then I received an email and then the phone calls started coming in. When I didn't answer, they sent me a watsapp message. I find this very creepy and the pushing is off-putting.
I went back on trustpilot and started reading the reviews. NOT ONE mentions an experience with payments and expenses. They all mention friendly communication and advice prior to signing a contract. In fact, if you notice, many of them have never submitted a review before and they submitted here without being prompted to. It seems like they might a bunch of fake reviews!
***Update 29.09.25: I emailed them 5 days ago to ask them to delete my data from their database. I received the automated reply but noone has come back to me yet and they are still sending me emails, which land in my spam folder. By the way, when you ask someone their personal details to give them a quote and then use their details to bombard them with calls and emails it's so unethical and bad business!
UPDATE 07.02.26: I received an email from Trustpilot that Dogprotect24 is asking for more details to recognise my experience and respond, otherwise they will consider my review as not genuine. They are requesting reference number, my phone number and full name. To this I respond: it's been 5 MONTHS since I spoke to one of your salespeople and since I decided to go with another insurance company, I asked them to delete my personal data and I deleted all email communication.
