Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 107 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people reported significant payment issues, with gift card balances often not being paid out as promised. Customers frequently encountered unresponsive customer service, struggling to reach a human and receiving generic replies. These experiences led many to question the service's reliability, with some describing it as unreliable. However, some customers eventually received their payments, though often after considerable delays and longer waiting periods than expected. A few others also felt that customer support, despite slow response times, did provide updates or explanations when contacted.

I am having my doubts with the legitimacy of this company. Its a shame it is very likely a scam. Especially for a desperate time in need, I am at a loss of words for this company.

Like everyone else I see on here I do…

Like everyone else I see on here I do got scammed by them. It’s been a little over a month and still haven’t got any payment and the same guy Justin Cooper keeps saying the same thing and I believe is behind in scamming everyone with their money since he the only person anyone has talked to besides the AI help. Someone needs to do something about this website and get it shut down before more people lose there money off this scammer. Please I hope people read this before sending their money in.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. I submitted a visa gift card with a balance of 100.00 they offered 78.00. like an idiot I accepted because I thought payout would be with in 8 hours. Nope. 3 days later money was off card and my submission still said pending. So I said screw it and got on the "live chat" and asked to cancel the sale. The robot started the cancelation and told me I should hear from some one soon. Fast forward to today ( 5 days since submission and 2 days since cancelation request). I have spoken to Justin Cooper the "operations manager"through email( 6 times( and got the same response every time I emailed him. Mty team is working on it now and will contact you shortly to verify cancelation. At this point I believe it's a lost cause. No money on card and unfortunately none in PayPal. Do not sell your card to this company. Payment and communication suck

Complaint filed today w/FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL

I just filed a complaint with the FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE about being scammed by GC Primo. Here is my complaint:
I sold two Home Depot gift cards totaling $500 on June 30, 2026 online to GC Primo and was supposed to receive my payment via Cash app the same day, and I still have yet to receive payment from GC Primo (gcprimo.com).
The first Home Depot gift card was $200 and I was given the following confirmation number
PRIMO-9966AD-BE24 and told that I would receive $156.00 within eight hours to my Cash App. No payment has been received and I completed this transaction on June 30, 2026.
The same day, I sold a $300 home Home Depot gift card to GC Primo and received this confirmation number
PRIMO-B3DD4B-C4AE and I was to receive $234 within eight hours to my cash app. No payment has been received and this was also completed on June 30, 2026.
Their chat is AI and not a real person. GC Primo has received 113 negative reviews on TrustPilot the past 20 days, everyone complaining about getting scammed by them.
GC Primo f**ked and scammed the wrong person.

DO NOT USE !!! 🚫🚫🚫🚫

My girlfriend and I submitted a form to sell a 100$ visa gift card to them with their website stating that the average response time is about 8 hours. We sent them the card information on Thursday, July 16th at 7:28am (per the confirmation email we received). It is now Saturday the 18th at 7:28am and still haven’t heard back from them. Out of concern and skepticism we checked the balance of the card a few hours ago and to our surprise the funds were drained immediately after we sent them the information, and the card was charged to a nail salon in California. All attempts to reach out to them have been for not.

PRIMO-0160BD-F2A2 is my reference number. Another AI program answers the emails. Justin Cooper is the name. He was an 80s child star.lol.
I keep getting the message in one form or another: we will be right with you. Then nothing. 17 days. If i ever get paid I will update.

Hello I did file a complaint on this…

I would not recommend GC Primo based on my experience. I submitted a $75 Amazon gift card and was told that most validated cards are paid the same day, some may take 3–5 business days, and only a small number requiring additional review could take 5–7 business days. It has now been 15 days, and I still have not received my payment.

My gift card funds have already been drained, meaning the value was taken while I am still waiting to be paid. I have contacted support multiple times and have not received a clear resolution or my payment.

I have also noticed several other customers reporting similar issues with unpaid gift cards. At the same time, I have concerns that some of the positive reviews may not accurately reflect real customer experiences and could potentially be misleading or fake. Customers should carefully research before trusting this company with their gift cards.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend GC Primo. A company should not hold a customer’s gift card value for 15+ days without providing payment or a satisfactory explanation.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, TRIFLING SCAMMERS WILL STEAL FROM YOU

Avoid the headache of getting your money stolen. I submitted an exchange for a Target gift card valued at $100. After 3 days the progress still hadn't moved from submitted. Well I submitted exactly two weeks ago and not only has no one gotten back to me with an actual update, my Target gift card balance is now $0. I should've known better but I wanted to give the site the benefit of the doubt. This site is a SCAM and it's quite disgusting how they rob people of hard earned money/gifts. It's seriously ridiculous, this site needs to be taken down immediately.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I had an unused card, I also emailed the receipt the following day. I did not get a response and when I checked the balance the money had already been removed. To remove the balance before you have even been notified is insane. You can check the card balance online, why remove it. I then was on the live chat feature for 2 hours waiting for a “human”. At this point I have no money and the card is useless. The email I received did not even answer my questions. I would never recommend anyone to use this service.

Can someone please escalate this asap

Can someone please escalate this process. I have contacted and the manger has the same solutions as the robot you don’t have one. I requested this ticket on June 24. It has now surpassed the wait time limit for the money. Can someone get a handle on this asap . If I could rate you 0 start that’s what you will get . There no reason why it’s take name over 14 business days to do a deal you already took in the beginning . You took my money on the 24th of June where the accountability besides letting me know you have my money . Can I have mines that you owe. PRIMO-B4E965-FD7F
