Terrible experience. Booked them for furniture assembly and then needed to cancel less than 48 hours later, and more than 3 days before the scheduled appointment and they are trying to charge 20% fee for cancelling. They also charged the full amount to my credit card the week before the scheduled appointment without ever informing me. Terrible business practice and poor customer service. Be warned.

This was not a good experience.

Booked a pickip window 12p>4p, and took time off to dedicate to being at the location of the pickup for that already broad window.

Was notified the day of the pickup that the window was narrowed to 3p>4p.

4:00p came and went, and I had zero communications or updates when to expect the pickup to happen.

5:00p rolled around and still nothing. I contacted the number I was given for the driver, to seek the status/update.
They informed me they had a flat tire and were running behind, but they were ~2 hours away still, butting my estimated pickup time close to or after 7:00p.

Since the window was scheduled for 12p>4p, and I was already late leaving the pickup location due to this, I had to depart from the location and could not wait the 2+ more hours at that location, so I had to pull the items back into the house.

This was unacceptable logistics and communications to me already.
I reached out to customer service to seek a cancellation, and was informed that I would be charged a cancellation fee of 50% OF THE ORDER TOTAL!!!!! Even though the failure to provide services or communicate was entirely their fault and put the customer at a significant inconvenience.

Then when the pickup was rescheduled, the pickup drivers arrived 1 hour before the narrowed window that I was given for that rescheduled pickup time. Thankfully I had sat the items out already before that, but this was considerably off of the estimated window still.

This is absolutely obsurd customer service, policy, logistics, and communications, and I will definitely be recommending against using this company ever again.

Definitely consider 1-800-GOT-JUNK instead, they actually quoted me a considerably lower price, and their customer service was far nicer to deal with, but I had already booked this pickup and prepaid as they required, so I had to use load(ofBS)up still or incur their 50% fee.

The pickup was easy and affordable

The service itself was GREAT and the pricing is up front on the web, based on what you say you have. However, their list could use some work. I had a lot of misc items that didn't really fit into their list. For many of them, I ended up piling what I could into contractor bags (labeled as 'bag of junk' on the web page) and then just using their "small/med/large misc item" for the rest. The guys that came to pick stuff up said that is what lots of folks do, so it was okay. After you get 3 items, each extra 'bag' seems to be only $15, while each 'small misc item' is about $33. So even if my contractor bags had a lot of empty space in them due to odd sized items, it was still cheaper than calling each a 'small misc item'.

I hired LoadUp to remove a queen-sized mattress on Saturday. Upon arrival, the two gentlemen who arrived had a trailer and truck full of items - a blue couch, other mattresses, a bed frame, etc.; however, there was room for my mattress, so I thought all was well. I was wrong. Saturday evening, after picking up the mattress, my mattress, along with all other items that had been picked up by these men that day, were dumped in my neighborhood creek. They did not dispose of the items; they illegally dumped them. I have been in contact with the company, and I have no idea what is happening with this situation now. Along with a refund, these men need to promptly remove the items they dumped. This is an awful situation, and I cannot believe I am even here telling this story. There are so many five-star reviews for a company that does not follow the law.

Absolutely great!!! Would definitely use them again. Everything was just as told, easy and smooth.

Terrible do not use them!! They will make you wait all day stringing you along and then only give you a fifty percent refund when their loader isn’t even responding and it’s their problem. I never leave bad reviews but I hope no one uses them. Zero respect for your time.

My recent experience with Load Up has been nothing short of frustrating. Initially, I placed an order for the removal of a heavy stove, fully expecting a professional and efficient service. Unfortunately, the first team delayed multiple times with minimal communication regarding the status of my order. After several missed timelines, my order was ultimately canceled and rescheduled for the following day.

When the new team arrived, it became painfully apparent that they were not adequately equipped to handle the job. Despite informing them beforehand about the specific requirements for the heavy stove removal, they arrived unprepared. This lack of preparedness was not only disappointing but also indicative of poor coordination and planning on Load Up's part.

After this experience, I found myself in a state of limbo for a third day, as there was a complete lack of communication from Load Up. I had to reach out myself for updates, only to be met with silence. After spending three days off work, relying on their assurances that the job would be completed as scheduled, I was left with no choice but to cancel the order.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Load Up for anything more complex than a basic pick-up that could easily be managed by a couple of individuals with a dolly. If you are considering a service that requires specialized equipment or reliability, I suggest looking elsewhere.

I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND MISLEADING. I FOLLOWED THEIR INSTRUCTIONS, SENT PICS ETC THEN WHEN THE LOADER GOT THEIR THEY RPPED ME OFF FOR ANOTHER $200 !!!! ALL THIS BECUZ I AM IN A WHEELCHAIR AND ELDERLY FROM MY TOUR IN NAM. THEY ARE DISGUSTING AND YOU SHOULD STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!

On time, very efficient, very careful removing heavy furniture. Would definitely use them again and recommend them highly

Easiest process ever. I was only charged the amount they said and the crew were in and out within minutes.

The workers arrived within the scheduled time frame and they were respectful and professional.

I had an old sofa, recliner chair, and an old office chair that needed to be hauled away and they didn't disappoint. The service was fantastic, I would recommend them to anyone!

I booked LoadUp for help unloading a 16 foot truck my kids had driven 2,000 miles in five days. I called them a week before their arrival and received an order number as well as a time window. I called again a couple days before their arrival asking if they could come as early as possible within that window. He assured me they would certainly do that if they could. The kids were waiting on the day they were supposed to be there, no one showed up. I called them and they said they had no one available. So the order number didn't mean a thing. They said they would search for other contractors. Meanwhile, my kids started unloading themselves and called in a couple people they knew. They never had any help from LoadUp and had to leave the heavy things for the next day. This delay cost them $250. LoadUp charged my account and I'm still waiting for a refund. I would never, ever use them!

I sent a previous message stating we were so pleased with the service and James and his assistant was great. I recommend Loadup!!

Excellent experience, reasonable prices and time and professional service, second time using LoadUp. Highly recommend.

I did help a little with loading but getting rid of those old rust paint cans was worth it.
