I'm sorry to leave a negative review but I cannot recommend this at all.
The food is blant and extremely expensive for what it is.
Basically pasta and tuna with mash potatoes - and it's expected 100 DKK per person. It has no taste and it's like the middle ages food that peasants ate to sustain their lives.

I do not subscribe to betterfeast never have. So why the hell am I suddenly getting text messages about promotions from this ... company? Apparently they used to be called sundtakeaway, which I did try out several years ago, didn't like it, canceled the subscription.
And apparently they kept my contact information for all those years. So be warned: if you sign up, even if you cancel the subscription quickly, they will hold on to your information, and who knows what they'll do with it.

Small portions, meals below average and expensive
I cannot give more than one star because:
1. All food is delivered on Sunday and on Thursday and Friday the food will already have a weird taste (like it's going bad)
2. They say that per day there should be approx 2000 kcal for a man. Most of the kcals come from the very big portions of sauces they add to almost all lunches/dinner. The sauces are very heavy and usually contain some kind of mayonneise/heavy cream. As a result, most of the times we were still hungry
3. The snacks are just some cheap muesli bars filled with lots of sugar :)
4. Not that important for normal people, but the quantity of the food is not specified. As a diabetic, I care about that and feel like it is common sense to put the quantity.
5. Beware that they automatically subscribe you to their meals!!! I first ordered meals for one week, only to see that money were withdrawn for a second week as well. They didn't clearly specify that they will subscribe me to their meals and now I'm stuck with another week of their bad food. :(
I'm sorry to be that customer, but I feel like the quality and taste of the food were really bad, given how much money I've spent. I'll definitely go and try out some of the other competitors.

I have been a betterfeast customer…
I have been a betterfeast customer around 6 months and decided to cancel as we got tired of the food and also think it is quite expensive.
When cancelling Betterfeast made it cumbersome by presenting me with three popups:
1. Would you like to switch to a smaller meal plan? No thanks
2. Would you like to only get the food every other week? No thanks
3. You will get 20% discount if you stay!!! No thanks
The button to cancel subscription on the third popup was also conveniently not visible without scrolling. I think this is what is called a "dark pattern" to make it tedious and difficult for customers to cancel.
That was definitely it for me. A company giving discount to customers wanting to leave - but no discount to loyal customers and questionable cancellation process is not something I want to support.
On top of that I just received a text message from them reminding me that shopping lists are annoying and trying to entice me to reactivate.

I just wanna try this easy food for dinner for 4 pers. so I ordered family pakke. The thing I dont like about it is : the portion is wayyyy too small ..Some food recipe are good , some are bad. My husband call it like prison food or cat food. “Sorry for the term”
I ordered for 4 person, you will get all in one plastic tray then heat it then divide it into 4. Chili con carne is waaaayyyy too small chips , I even send email for complaint! They said they weigh all portions but no matter how you say the chips are way too little for 4 person to share. I even send them the picture.
Some menu is with bread. On wednesday it has molds already and menu with rice, you will get the cheapest brand of rice even if it says Jasmin ris.
On the 2nd week, I dont want to continue but then I was charged already for the next weeks order! Keep in mind that they will charge you every wednesday, so if you wanna stop the delivery, you have to do it before wednesday.
All in all, its a good experience and learning: home cook food is still the best!
This is my experieced with betterfeast, maybe yours is different ..

You better avoid this company. Their food tastes bad. We’ve been their customers for the last 3 months. 95% of their food tastes so bad that we have to throw it away. I cannot understand how they let that food go to the customers, i really don’t understand. I cannot imagine that any cook or chef would let anyone eat that. Nothing is eatable on their menu, everyone can make better food than them, ANYONE.
Unfortunately some people have small babies and children and they can’t afford to spend time cooking. Exactly, this company speculates these situations and they take people’s money delivering them a mix of ingredients that 95% times tastes very bad.
If you, the owner of this company don’t agree, i invite you to send over you cook to have him looking into my eyes and say i am wrong and his food tastes good

I agree that food is average
I agree that food is average. From five dishes few were very boring. One was too salty and of course I have written about it..
I would say communication was not the best.
Three stars because it’s really easy to make like they say.. you don’t need to cook. 👍🏼

I got the food, I HAD TO, so I kept my subscription and I ordered food for two week in the row.
So the FOOD IS GOOD! They have an understandable amount of choice, but taste is good. The family amount is enough for two adult and one child. For three adult in the family is a little short. The delivery pretty detailed, they send a message when they start and when they drop off. I can recommend if you don’t have time to cook with the small child or because busy life.

I like the food and it's packed well …
I like the food and it's packed well and delivered on time. The website could offer greater flexibility in choosing the food box size and weather it should contain only dinner or other meals as well. It is difficult to find out what's on the menu before ordering the foodbox for a given week.
