I bought a car, which in advertisements showed as a car with no imperfections, however the 3rd i noticed damage on the door and door rubber, like some one tried to open the door with force, secondly, u get in the car , key in the ignition, the engine kicks in after approx 11/12 seconds, needless to say, i want to return the car, all i get is, come to the garage and we do the repairs, we have lost trust in the car, we have the car just a week, only 200 km driven, so Autohero should follow their own slogan, 21 days /500km, not happyy, return the car

Quick and easy way to buy a car, staff helpful

Bought an Alfa Romeo Stelvio from Autohero Spain in April 2026. Within weeks, the turbocharger failed — whistle under acceleration, significant power loss at highway speeds. Safety risk for me and my family.

Autohero acknowledged the issue and authorized the repair under their premium warranty. They promised the part would arrive by August 10th at the latest.

Their latest response? Just wait. No date, no tracking number, no commitment.

Their own warranty process says 8-10 business days. We're past 6 weeks. Every deadline they set themselves — they missed.

Is this how Autohero treats customers? Sell a defective car, collect the premium warranty fee, then stall until it expires?

upd. 28/08 - problem wasn't solved, 3 weeks in a row they say that due to holidays and vacation season, the turbocompressor didn't arrive and they do not know when it will happen. 0 customer support.

Do not buy a car from Autohero. They do not check the quality of the cars, and when there are problems they don't respond or take any interest with your case. Buying a car from them has caused a massive amount of distress for myself and my partner to the point that we are filing an official complaint with the authorities.
We purchased an Audi hybrid car from them. It became very clear that they did not check the hybrid battery quality at all, as there was no charge on the battery when we took the car. Within the first two weeks, there was a complete engine failure. We had to get a tow truck through our own insurance as they would not help. They 'resolved' the issue at Norauto, only for the issue to return 2 weeks later. This time we took the car with a tow truck to an official Audi garage, and they confirmed that the hybrid battery is damaged and will cost more than €14,000 to repair. This has left us with no car, we have had to change our holiday plans, and has caused so much stress. It has taken them weeks to respond, with ridiculous excuses about not being able to open our email and giving us different email addresses to contact, all with no reply. When we do finally get a reply, they are often rude to us, sometimes shouting at us down the phone, almost like they are blaming us for this. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional and I would warn anyone against using them.

Update 27/08/26: Their response below doesn't match reality. They say that it was handled correctly at all times, but this is a complete lie. The only reason it has been handled at all is because we have made 100s of calls and sent many emails to their customer service. They never reply, they don't call back, and they don't handle the situation. Their emails are written really unprofessionally. We have been more than 2 months without a car, and they still haven't returned our money despite agreeing to the return of the car as they have stated in their response. We can't purchase a new car until they return out money, so more than 2 months without a car because of them. They should be ashamed and embarrassed to even respond saying they handled it correctly.

Alex was really friendly and helpful when we picked up our car. He answered our questions and made the handover quick and easy.

Ownership documents still missing 9 months after taking delivery of my vehicle. Autohero staff seem unwilling to help and close down our customer service query without resolving the matter. Very poor and would not recommend this company. Currently our vehicle, which has been paid for in full, is still not registered to us.

Very poor customer service. I still haven't received my registration documents after four months. I've sent numerous emails, but none have been answered. When I called, I was told that someone who speaks English would call me back, but I've been promised this on several occasions and no one has ever contacted me.

I also discovered that the car has had a full respray, which was never mentioned in the advertisement. When I raised this concern, they showed no interest in addressing it.

Overall, the lack of communication, poor customer service, and failure to disclose important information about the vehicle have been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

the worst experience of my life. I arrived at Habaneras early, however the "hut" they use is so tucked away it took a good 15 minutes to find. I was told that the person to do the appraisal had just gone and come back tomorrow!!! On arriving back the next day the same man was actually doing the appraisal. He took the car round the block with me in it - immediately saying that the car was wrongly appraised and saying it was worth 2 k less than our written one. He then got out a "paint thickness measurer" (electric) and on seeing the car was perfect leaned the machine slightly so it gave a different reading. Then started to shout loudly that the car had been in a collision - i spoke no more to him and left - this is an obvious scam and i would recommend no one uses this company. - please be aware!!!!!!
i have ben asked by compramostucoche to write more in order that they can address my problems - FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF ANY DOUBT WHATSOEVER - the representative was aggressive and my 4 year old car with just 25k kilometers was in perfect shape - my sife is the only user and it is only drivenlocally with no bumps or scrapes. The representative took the car for a trip around the car park and became aggressive in his attitude stating 3 or 4 weeks settlement and that the appraisal (th only thing that got me there was too high) he then suggested 20 k - the appraisal was 21,450. He parked up the car and started takiing a number of photos - then he pulled out a pen like instrument and started moving it around the paintwork - he got different readings on the curved parts to the straight over the rear wheel arch. Please check the reliability of these things on Google - they are totally unreliable - the paintwork on this car is perfect!!!! I saw the scam and said no more to him collected my paperwork and left. He did not admit to being the appraiser on my first visit. The car is now sold, however the company had the affrontery to send me a new appraisal for 6 k less the following day - i can not warn you strongly enough - DONT GO NEAR THEM !!!!!!
La peor experiencia de mi vida. Llegué temprano a Habaneras; sin embargo, la "caseta" que utilizan está tan escondida que tardé unos buenos 15 minutos en encontrarla. ¡¡¡Me dijeron que la persona encargada de la tasación acababa de marcharse y que volviera al día siguiente!!! Al regresar al día siguiente, resultó que el mismo hombre era quien realizaba la tasación. Dio una vuelta a la manzana con el coche conmigo dentro y, de inmediato, afirmó que el vehículo había sido mal tasado, asegurando que valía 2.000 menos de lo que indicaba nuestra tasación por escrito. Luego sacó un medidor electrónico de espesor de pintura y, al ver que el coche estaba impecable, inclinó ligeramente el aparato para obtener una lectura distinta. Acto seguido, empezó a gritar que el coche había sufrido un accidente; no le dirigí ni una palabra más y me marché. Es una estafa evidente y no recomiendo a nadie utilizar esta empresa. ¡¡¡¡¡Por favor, tengan cuidado!!!!!
i researched the paint measuring machine on youtube.com- This will tell you that flat surfaces give different readings to curved surfaces and other "mistakes" that can be made. It is basically a floored way of checking paintwork. a complete scammer.

As a foreigner, I was able to complete the entire car buying process in English, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Hello ,I bought a Jaguar E-Pace 0017KYX near 2 months ago and now the engine has a problem and the car were near to burn! I contacted them they don't have any workshop in South of Spain and I was in workshop and they sent me we don't cover pipes of Engine and Turbo system!!?? What is engine? it's some pipes and some metals and when you guarantee engine all are include!! The Autohero Germany is more professional but Autohero Spain has no experience and they don't cover guarantee and don't loose your money and you can buy from the other companies better and more professional than Autohero!!

Fast service and great customer experience

We had wonderful experience with Autohero Valencia. We have ordered the car on Monday and collected the same week on Saturday. Guliermo the car selling person was very helpful and informative. He guided us through Spanish car buying and registration process. We would recommend the company and definitely will use it in the future. Thank you Magda and Marcin

They are unable to deliver you your required car documents and their customer service is just pointless. Going 5 months and still don't have the circulation permit. I would avoid at all cost. Because if this simple matter cannot be handled, I wonder how everything else could go any better.
EDIT: Documents finally delivered. The reason was Autohero making a typo on postal code and the paperwork went back and forth trough Spain for 3,5 months. Adding +1 star with mixed feelings.

Very good experience and very trustworthy. They are a professional organization and I felt confident in the process the whole way through. The guys at the pick up in Valencia are efficient, organized and very please to work with.
