My 2XL jacket was closer to a small. My size 10 boots, closer to a 7. Cost more to return than to take the loss. HORRIBLE!!! I’m out $200. Do not purchase anything from this company!

Extremely disappointing experience — nearly 10 months, no refund, and my return was sent back to me

I strongly recommend thinking twice before purchasing from this company.

My experience has been extremely frustrating and has cost me a significant amount of time, money, and stress. The coat I purchased was extremely small, had never been worn or used, and was returned brand new the very next day after I received it.

I paid out of pocket for international shipping to return the item to their warehouse so that I could receive my refund. I then waited nearly 10 months for the return to be processed.

After all that time, the package was eventually returned to me in the United States. According to the information on the returned package, it appears that it was refused or left unclaimed. This was completely outside of my control. I had already paid to ship the item back to them and had done everything required of me.

I contacted the company again and formally requested that the matter be escalated to a supervisor or the appropriate department. I also requested a refund and reimbursement for the unnecessary international shipping costs I incurred. Unfortunately, after I informed them that the package had been returned because it was apparently unclaimed, I received no response and was subsequently blocked from accessing their website/account.

What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that throughout the return process, communication initially seemed polite and reassuring, but the issue continued to be dragged out for months without actually being resolved.

At this point, I have no refund, an unwanted item that I returned nearly 10 months ago, and additional international shipping expenses that I should never have had to pay.

This has been one of the most frustrating customer-service experiences I have ever had. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I would strongly encourage you to carefully research this company and its return process before placing an order.

I am sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision.

Clothing was sewn too small even though I ordered an extra-large. Quality of clothing was poor. I spent money attempting to return the order and I was given a bogus name and address in China and was not able to return the items or get a refund from Elisa. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY. It is a bait and switch operation.

Inwould give 0 stars if possible. $50 hoodie was cheap, looked like something from the dollar store. Never worn, store is supposed to be in US but they want me to return to warehouse in China which would cost me $35. Despicable! Dont let their website fool you. You will be throwing away your money.

The shirt looks great and the fabric feels really premium. I’d recommend sizing down since it runs a bit large.

I find it strange that reviews are either one star or five stars. This company is a scam and I’d bet that they “pad” their reviews with fictitious comments. This way, their average isn’t as low as it should be. Though they respond on this platform, they do nothing to correct the issue. They offered me 10% of the total purchase and I keep the product.
I hope the States’ Attorney Generals here in the US, catch up with this Chinese scam of a “company “.

They offered me a 10% refund which is more than the dress should have cost in the first place! It was pure crap! They got me good! Will never buy from Simplwear again!

False advertisment! The articles of clothing dont resemble the photos at all and the quality is awful. On top of that the suit took over three weeks to arrive out of china.

Received the entirely wrong shoes. I sent two emails to resolve the issue with no response. Do not recommend.

SCAM! Read the reviews. They ship the wrong product curiously often (me included). Hassle Free Shipping = Most Hassle Ever. You pay big to ship back to China, and they refuse to clear customs on their end, so it never reaches them, and they never refund you. You’re out the product, shipping cost, and a lot of time and frustration. I disputed the initial purchase, and got the money back on my VISA, so I’m only out the shipping. Avoid completely!!! UPDATE: Their response, lol…. I exchanged MANY emails with “support” and got absolutely NOWHERE! All part of the scam.

ASH NEW YORK is now SimplWEAR Newyork. They just changed the name without the intention of slowing down the scam.
I am out of almost $300 and I have trashy items. People need to spread the news about this company. Ash NewYork is just one of the many websites they use to sell junk, collect money and then claim they are in China. The real company behind the many names is AB Community Group LLC. When you get an ad from google, check to see who is paying for the ad.
1) they will create a name of a city in US e.g ASH New York, jenniferjohn-charleston and so on. The LLC advertising those multiple websites in the US is "AB Community Group LLC." I ordered satin, they sent me a clothing item with a label that read "95% polyester" When it's time for return, that's when the trouble starts. Don't bother spending more money to send the items to China, you won't get your refund. The ASHNeWYork customer return email has changed twice in the last two months. Spread the word. Since January 2026 until now, depsite several emails, no refund or resolution until now, end of March 2026. The images on theor website is AI, and they are not real clothes.

** April 2026. Responding to generic AI generated response from ASHNEW YORK/SimplWear below. How many emails to the support email you listed and changed should it take to actually resolve the issue? Does more than 5 emails sound like customer service? Instead of providing fake responses, why not focus on actually providing the "quality" goods you claim to offer. Why do you need many websites: ASHNEWYORK, SimplWear, Jennifer and John Charleston etc... all selling the same things, all scamming people.

Nothing New York about Ash Newyork. A total scam. Based in China. "30 day hassle free return policy" is a lie. They will refund you 10% and you keep the product or return to China at your expense. Sizing is in Chinese and not accurate. Product was Orthopedic Leather boots, my daughter's Barbie doll boots are of better quality than these plastic things. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Same company as SIMPLEWEAR

After my first review a couple of months ago, I’ve since found out that Ash New York is a fake scam. They do not exist. They sent me an email saying they were going to resolve it, and it turns out that they say they have no record of my order however, I have these shoes which are two sizes too small. Never, never, never buy or purchase anything from them directly. Only buy their shoes through a reputable department store. I lost almost $200 to a fake scam.

The shoes came mislabeled. I ordered a size 10, but they appear to be more like a size 8. The return process is terrible. You cannot reach them by phone, and they will not take the shoes back. I spent over $200 for the shoes, and now I’ve wasted my money!

this company is a total scam i ordered a blouse came totally damaged i cant return it they offer me $3 to credit for $35.99 blouse i would never order from them again . the quality is awful

⚠️ Warning!! This company is a complete scam. The XL coat I ordered fit more like a medium, and the quality was terrible. When I contacted them to request a return, they informed me that I had to pay for the return shipping costs, even though their website clearly states “30 days hassle-free returns.” I decided to pay for the shipping anyway, and it has now been 43 days and I still have not received my refund.

Scam! I cancel my order when I saw all the bad reviews, they send me an email saying that my order was canceled and my refund will be processed but I did not receive the refund and I don’t receive any product

Warning! This company is a total scam! I ordered two jackets size XL and when received they were tagged properly but I couldn't get the one over my shoulders, it was more like a medium maybe small. When I contacted them they told me just return the products (but at my expense). It would have cost me $316 each to ship back to China. Then they bargained with me that they would refund 10 then 20 then 60 percent of the bill and I could keep the jackets. never received the refund after numerous emails back and forth
