Disappointing Affiliate Experience and Last-Minute Payment Rejection
I joined Actorio's affiliate program and spent time creating high-quality comparison and review articles about their product. After publishing the content, I shared it on social media.
Within about two weeks, my affiliate dashboard recorded five referral clicks and one successful annual subscription purchase. The commission of €298 was approved in the system.
When I requested payment, I provided all the evidence they asked for, including information about my traffic sources. Five days later, their team replied that they agreed to process the payment and even scheduled a KYC interview for three days later. I confirmed my attendance and prepared all the required documents.
However, about 12 hours before the scheduled interview, they sent another email saying they would not pay the commission because my blog was "not suitable."
I found this very disappointing. If my website did not meet their requirements, that should have been communicated before approving the commission and before confirming the payment process and scheduling a KYC interview.
From my experience, the communication and decision-making process was inconsistent and unprofessional. I invested significant time and effort into promoting their product in good faith, only to have the payment rejected at the last minute after receiving approval.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend their affiliate program to publishers looking for a reliable long-term partnership.
