Great chicken Salad
Everything in our box looks good and fresh. First dinner was Vietnamese style chicken salad. Great dinner. I did add a little more lime and sugar to the salad dressing. I enjoyed this dinner quite a lot. Healthy too.

Impossible to cancel and charged for things I can’t eat
I just received an order and was charged for it even if I subscribed and cancelled within 10 mins. Plus I didnt choose anything and Im pretty sure it contains shelfish which Im allergic and mentioned i didnt even want. Your system makes it impossible to really cancel something and because it was cancelled I couldn’t even choose what to eat so it really looked like nothing was gonna ship. And now I was charged for some things I can’t eat, and you’re telling me that a refund is out of the question cause it’s your systems way to fonction. Customers shouldn’t be at fault for a problem caused by your system thats wild!

The apple cake was tasty after I supplied the missing ingredients. Only half the fkower was there and only 1 apple instead of 2

Produce is not fresh
Produce is not fresh - green beens only had one serving after throwing out all the shrivelled bad ones…..in my opinion this was not worth the money

Im appalled with this company when you ask them to stop shipping until you need more food they ship food anyway PLUS they ship what they want not what you might order and they are very heavy on rice and pasta to create bulk

FedEx showed damaged box, Chefs Plate won't refund
FedEx showed the box to be damaged and Chefs Plate will not refund. Signed up with them last week and got my first box today. It's gaping open, nowhere near taped shut.
Spoke with someone named Fez (sp?) at customer support center who looked at the FedEx proof of delivery photo and said the box looked ok. The FedEx photo clearly shows severe damage to the box.
The customer support agent said she would 'see if they could do anything for me' then kept talking over me. I told her to stop talking over me and she then stopped talking altogether. When I asked to talk to someone else, she claimed she suddenly couldn't hear me.
Keep in mind, this is in the middle of the business day when I'm trying to work. I also didn't buy groceries for suppers this week b/c we thought we had reliable food coming.
Terrible customer service, I've obviously cancelled my sub, and I will be filing a formal fraud dispute with my bank to get a full refund. I was also going to try out HelloFresh, but given that they're owned by the same people, I think not. Bypassing their support entirely and letting the bank handle it.

Lets see, i cant decide if it was them sending two orders of fish so 4 meals in a row or leaving it in the lobby of my building where i found it mostly melted

The Chef’s Plate meals are delicious! I’m so glad to have tried some of them. Our freezer is full! I found the work involved daunting though. Won’t order again as it was just too much work to put most of these together. Glad to have given it a shot though.

I find the vegetables in the last couple of boxes were not in good condition. 1/2 of the parsley leaves were yellow, the tomato was about 3 shades short of red, and the zucchini was withered. I also rec'd a bulb of garlic yesterday that looks moldy on the bottom. I threw it out immediately.

I really enjoy fast easy quality meal prep. I don't have to think about what I'll make for diner and that makes my life so much easier. Meals are delicious. I only find that the portions could be a bit larger.

I appreciate the fact that I have less food waste. The recipes are tasty. Down side is I live in a condo and delivery is sometimes tricky when I am not home if I was to miss the delivery call on my phone. So far that has not happened but it is a concern.
