Review of Independent Mortgage Advice Bureau (IMAB) Ltd

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I couldn’t recommend Karen more highly…

I couldn’t recommend Karen more highly as a broker. From the very first conversation she was professional, responsive, and genuinely focused on understanding exactly what I needed.

She communicated clearly at every step, kept me updated without any chasing, and explained options in a way that made the process feel straightforward rather than overwhelming. Her market knowledge and attention to detail gave me complete confidence that I was in good hands.

What stood out most was how personal and reliable she was—always available when questions came up and consistently going the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly. Working with Karen made the entire experience positive and stress-free.

If you’re looking for a broker who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and truly has your best interests at heart, Karen is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

Review of Hitachi

It looks like is the same story, same TV, same useless companies

It looks like is the same story. Bought a Hitachi 58 Inch Smart 4K UHD HDR LED Freeview TV 18 months ago, and a couple of weeks ago while watching a film the screen turned black, however there was sound. Tried to contact Argos and Hitachi, but because is out of warranty they will not do anything. They've advised to get a report done on the TV, but it feels like there is no point going down that route. I was thinking to get it fixed, but I might fix a part and than a different one might appear. The problem is investing lots of money, replacing the faulty part and than the one that caused the issue will/might damage the new one.
Now I can only try to sell it for a few quid. We've got a Sony, it's about 7 years old, and man, that is a good quality TV.
Never buy a HITACHI, unless you are offered 5 years warranty and get another 5 on top of it. But be ready in under 2 years or less you'll get the same 'good' quality.... learned my lesson...
