Never ever use Joom - you've been warned! I ordered a cycling top. Quality was poor and size way too small - but trying to return anything is a nightmare. You have to pay for returns (acceptable - but a bit harsh considering) The returns process is deliberately convoluted and difficult in the hope you abandon. You contact customer services and have to go through verification emails and then you get an email saying they are too busy. I've attempted more than once and waited several days for a response. Ive contacted trading standards - they shouldn't be allowed to trade in the UK

I wanted to open a savings account. It turned into a shambles. I Downloaded the app and filled in the form. Good start …. but they said they needed more info. Turns out that their credit ref agency (Credit Karma) couldn’t identify me. That’s despite the fact I am in my 50s, have lived in the UK all my life, have lived in my current home for over 10 years (so pay energy bills / council tax) and have had countless financial service products (mortgage, loans, credit cards, current accounts…) so to progress I was asked to post an original passport or driver licence (or a copy certified by a doctor/ lawyer/minister). What a faff. Appreciate you need to run checks/ money laundering but your credit ref agency is Mickey Mouse IMHO. Also - As an online bank why can’t you facilitate upload of documents - other organisations do it. You fell at the first hurdle. Lost yourself a customer.

I got a much better rate than Post Office, Banks, Sainsbury etc. Delivered next day by registered delivery ( cost a fiver but still got more Euro wonga for my Sterling). Easy online process to order.

I have been using top cashback for a year and a half. Site is easy to use and app works well allowing you to see everything you need. Just cashed in my first bounty and that was really easy and efficient too. No complaints and would definitely (and regularly do) recommend)
