Been a long time desire to get a road bike, like proper one but without getting into the usual carbon stuff we find nowadays.

I am very happy I found a somewhat sporty steel bike (triebwerk, which looks to be between endurance and racey), looking classic but being modern at the same time. Received the bike August 8th 2025 and it's now november 8th - almost completed 5000km. Never rode this much. Bike feels lively, very responsive, corners fast, and is also a treat to look at. Cannot regret this purchase as I never rode as much as I am now with this.

At the Berlin showroom, staff is very friendly so buying experience was also excellent. Yeah in a vacuum the bikes may appear a bit pricey but I will not regret any cent I have put in there, this is well priced for high end steel in nowadays money, on par with what you see in the bike insdustry nowadays; so just this one is very good value for money.

I have not serviced the whole bike yet so just cannot talk through the home mechanic stuff. I am though a bit scared of internal routing on a steel bike, espcially around the bottom bracket area. But these are technicalities, does not detract from the riding experience.

On a side note, I bought a showroom bike (so with also some discount applied), therefore I cannot comment on the lead times in case you order brand new, or shipments, as the bike was already assembled and Standert just took a couple of days to perform few checks before I could go back home with my purchase from the Berlin showroom.

All in all, a well earned 5 stars.

Been just over a year I got these wheels (650b Adventure) and I'm pretty happy with it, though I had to replace the front wheel bearings in just over a year of use. Also have a friend who had to replace them coouple of month after fitted to his bike.
That said, I'd say 5 stars because the customer is incredibly friendly and efficient (sent me a replacement freehub within 24 hours as the one which was fitted on the wheel was the wrong one).
All in all, ride quality is very good and the wheels stayed true for a very long time in spite of using them heavily on single track with my gravel bike. Hubs are Novatec if I'm not mistaken so not the boutique stuff but it makes it very easy to replace the freehub in case you need. For a 500ish euro price range I of course would not have expected top shelf hubs but the ones fitted are good enough for the job and the "fast enage" is not on par with say DTSwiss but is very decent.
In conclusion, I would recommend these wheels if you don't want to break the bank and have a good pair of solid wheels, easily serviceable as well as supporting a very customer centric company.

So I ordered a wheelset that unfortunate came with the wrong freewheel hub. Contacted support and they fixed my situation in no time. Great customer support so many thanks :)

Commandé le 2 août 2014, commande toujours en cours de préparation, et ce malgré une indication de la part du vendeur qu'il faudrait 5 jours ouvrables pour préparer ma commande et une livraison aux alentours du 14/15 août 2014. Pas de réponse à la plupart des mails envoyés, contact téléphonique inexistant, impossible d'avoir quelqu'un en ligne (dans d'autres commentaires export privé indique qu'ils n'ont qu'une ligne téléphonique, on croit rêver). Aujourd'hui j'attends toujours mon colis (qui n'a toujours pas été envoyé) malgré le chronopost payé. Je ne sais pas si j'aurais un jour ma commande : on dirait qu'il n'y a qu'une personne qui s'occupe de la relation client et une personne qui s'occupe des commandes. Pour info j'ai été débité juste après la commande (et non pas l'envoi du colis, ceci dit, c'est inscrit dans les CGV). Je poste cet avis parce que j'ai reçu un mail me demandant de participer à l'évaluation du site. Enfin bref, export privé me laisse une terrible impression de mauvaise gestion des commandes, et je n'ai que faire des excuses qu'on pourra me donner (vacances, typhons, fêtes nationales...), j'ai payé pour un produit et je souhaite qu'on me l'expédie!
