The product sucks. I have asked for them not to try to take anything from my bank. My bank has blocked them. You try again and I’m gonna get a lawyer to shut this whole thing down. You never refunded me on my first order I would never make another, I repeat do not try to take from my bank again!!! 😡

It took some time in getting to me. I hope in time it would begin to show changes in my vitals.

I ordered their Amla product a couple of days ago. Their advertising claims that the capsule contains “100% Amla Extract” and “standardised extract of amla” (these quotes are taken straight off their website). These claims sound great, so I contacted customer support with these questions:

1. Are you capsules indeed extracts, or rather pure amla powder? If it is an extract, what is the **extraction ratio** (for example, 5:1 or 10:1)?
2. Is the extract **standardised for any particular compounds**, such as polyphenols, tannins or emblicanin A/B?
3. How much of the active amla extract is actually present in each capsule?
4. Is there any independent testing for **heavy metals, pesticides and contaminants**?
5. Do you have any laboratory or clinical evidence showing the effect of your particular product on **LDL cholesterol or ApoB**? I’m particularly interested in whether your product is comparable to the amla preparations used in clinical studies, rather than simply the total milligram weight of the capsule?

So, I must admit that customer service was quick to respond. The answer itself was less than satisfactory. Turns out that the capsule does NOT contain amla extract at all, just pure amla powder. Here is their exact answer: “ Alevia's Amla is a single-ingredient supplement made from pure Amla fruit powder. Each serving (2 capsules) contains 1,000 mg of Amla”.

They claim that their product is “Third Party verified and tested” (as per their website), so I asked for a copy of these reports. Again they were very quick to reply. The answer, and I quote again: “Our Certificate of Analysis and third-party testing documentation aren't currently available to share with customers.” What???? How can you claim something and refuse to provide supporting evidence?

Don’t get me wrong, I believe that amla extracts can indeed help with tackling high cholesterol levels. I have read scientific trials conducted with amla extracts, but none of these studies used amla powder. As I said, they were based on the use of amla extracts, not powder. So you can understand my reluctance to deal with these people ever again.

Oh and yes, their automatic enrolment into their cunning subscription scheme is, in my opinion, bordering on scamming in a big way. Yes, it is possible to unsubscribe, but you have to jump a few hurdles before you arrive at the actual “subscription cancelled“ page.

To sum it all up, if you believe in amla powder in a capsule form and like the convenience of swallowing the capsule, then by all means, buy it from them. Alternatively you can also buy 250g powder at your local health food store for a lot less.

It does help me with my BP, but I have to skip days when I am taking the alevia Alma because I have to take baby aspirin and they both do not mixed well together.

Buyers beware! Based on my experience, they just want to get your information and put you on a never ending renewal cycle. I returned the first order, received a refund and was assured that there was no renewal. So imagine my shock to see a charge on my card only this time the company has a new name - from Alevia to Auniva. I find it curious that they suddenly changed the company name. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Delivery was on spot, fresh product, got plenty 🙌🏻

I asked some questions about where the product was made and about the outer shell, what it was made of. Your customer service Rep. Sarah answered my email pretty fast. She offered to find out a the answers to my questions and she did. She was very polite, courteous and very patient, she cared about getting my questions answered and replying quickly to me. They were very understanding that I was late starting my Alevia pills and so I had too many and they willingly adjusted the date for next delivery.
