Don't Chance It
The stuff may be cheaper but if anything's not right then it's a nighmare. Until this episode I've always had respect for China and the Chinese. I've visited China a number of times and my wife is Chinese.
A faulty watch was delivered to me three days ago and over those three days I have wasted hours attempting to communicate with them in a straitforward manner. I think they are mostly using AI to respond. Their chat line is the issue. They offer to help but you just go round in circles. They respond and provide information on what to do on two separate parts of the screen. When you ask something they may come back with an unhelpful answer on not come back at all. I followed all their prompts but they change the person on the other end and you have to start again. On the day of delivery I asked if it could be exchanged. No response to the question. It seemed the only option was to follow a return and refund procedure. I got nowhere. None of this was my fault but they treat me as if I'm a nuisance and in the wrong. One of their rude comments was 'What else do you want to complain about? You just need to follow the platform' I thought I had followed their instructions. I haven't found anything called 'platform'. (I've noted that the word 'platform' is used in a number of the positive reviews on this site and it makes me suspicious as to their authenticity. Because I was spending so much time waiting for their responses I asked them to put it clearly in an email. But their emails just refer me back to their chat page. They have said I will have to pay for the return unless I take it to one of their collection places. They have failed to tell me where to take it, just hope it's not China. I could go on but you will be bored. I just hope I may now get someone respctful and helpful on my case
