Charging money for nothing

We were moving from the Netherlands by the end of June. We notified KPN in advance to cancel our Internet subscription. Nothing happened. When we deregistered from gemeente, we again made this deregistration. Again no feedback from KPN. We returned the router. Now, 3 weeks later, still nothing from KPN, but they regularly charge the money. We did the 3rd cancellation and complain - and somehow now some bot answered that in a month they will cancel it. They charge us for non-existing service and their malfunctioning processes. This is unfair business practice. Shame on you, KPN!

Good morning Julia, thank you for the conversation we had by email. I’m glad that we were able to resolve everything successfully!

Hello Julia! Moving out of the Netherlands and still being charged for internet you no longer use is really frustrating. It is also hard when you have already cancelled several times and still get no clear response.

You say you informed KPN in advance, then cancelled again after deregistration from the municipality, returned the router, and still got charged. You also mention that a bot replied that the cancellation would only be handled in a month.

I would like to look in to this for you. I have sent you a contact form by email. If you wish, you can fill it in, so I can contact you. Thank you in advance!
