Audiology not the best. My Mum spent £2,000 in 2021 for (what she thought were the best) hearing aids. After approximately 2.1/2 years, one started with a fault. Fortunately under guarantee for repair. But same fault reoccurring ever 3-4 months. Take them in, send them off, collect all repairs done. Then happens again, sept 2025 out of guarantee paid £150 for repair. Exact same fault as previous. Lasted just over 2month faulty again. For someone who relies on her hearing aids in her late 80’s this is not good and gets her frustrated as she has to rely on me sorting for her as she can’t ring herself to sort as she can’t hear. For a two thousand pound purchase you would expect far better quality and reliability. Also better repair system as fault never seems to be sorted properly. She is now at the stage of throwing them away and going back to the NHS one as this is too much for her to keep paying every few months as the reoccurring fault never gets sorted. After sales / fault management needs some serious attention.
